- Little is known about Carley's personal life or family, other than that she was raised Lutheran. Before the outbreak, Carley was a regional news reporter for WABE in Atlanta, Georgia and worked with fellow co-worker, Steve. Having spent time as a correspondent in various war-zones, she is experienced in surviving under extreme circumstances, and is also proficient in the use of firearms. Right before the outbreak, Carley and her production crew drove to Macon to cover the Cherry Blossom Festival. The crew was attacked by walkers and she was forced to watch as her producer was eaten alive just a few feet away from her. She was saved by Doug and joins him. They both later meet up with Glenn, Lilly, and her father, Larry. It is unknown if Carley had been sympathetic to Lee's sentencing before the outbreak... Lilly kills Carley on the road. Why the Hell is Lilly so determined to think it’s Carlie? Talk about a personal grudge.
At the beginning when Lilly accuses Carley, instead of defending her you might choose the "Why her?" and Lilly replies "She's always so eager to see what supplies we found, she never talks about her family, as far as we know she might be related to those bastards" (referring to the bandits) which was disproved when Carley shot those two bandits, I mean, if she was related to bandits, why would she kill them? or why should she Carley help the group defeat St Johns by shooting Andy while giving Lee time to go after a stunned Andy? after all, the food source of the bandits was the farm, no farm=less food for the bandits
Carley was like Kenny in that they both matched Lily's energy. They didn't take Lily's attempts at dominating lying down
Well lily thought Carly being so eager to see what supplies lee and kenny get which gets disproven then she targets ben and he was being hella suspicious. But Carly was actively defending him so which made her think Carly is attempting to cover for him. In short Carly made her self a target for defending ben when he was clearly guilty. Lily knew Ben was hiding something but the way Carly was acting made it seem like Carly knew something about all of this which may make her complicit with the fall of the motor inn
I think it is interesting that she never suspects Doug though if he survives, completely targeting Ben (in that scenario she's completely right lol), meaning he supposedly did prove himself more trustworthy in between the episodes.
It's crazy because Lilly was 100% right about Ben. Carley defending him just made her look suspicious too, but Ben's reactions gave it all away that it was him giving supplies to the bandits. If Lilly hadn't been so rash they could have probably figured out that it was Ben and prevented the death of Carley and kept Lilly in the group. In the end Ben was a POS coward who let other people die because he was weak
Yeah. I disliked Ben more than Lily (and Kenny). It's not even that he fucked up. It's that he fucked up so bad it lead to an unforgivable amount of deaths and, ultimately, the collapse of the group. He wasn't even enough of an asshole to stand by his decisions. He basically breaks down with guilt and spilled his secret at the worst possible moment. If you kept him around as long as you could, him dying by Kenny's hand so Kenny cam escape walkers was too good for him.
It’s sad. He never wanted it to turn out like this, he just did it because he thought it would keep them safe. But, after that, he just kept messing up. And he ultimately made himself useless in the end.
Not to mention he caused an absurd amount of deaths
That's why I always leave him to get eaten by the Walkers at the bell tower

It was a little cold and selfish in my opinion. Because Carley practically said that she would let someone else to suffer except herself.

She said it that way cuz Ben allowed ppl to walk over him and he pick and chose when to be weak honestly. He was the most selfish person in their group. Carley on said that because just cuz Ben allowed Lily to talk to him however she wanted, doesn’t mean Lily is allowed to behave that way with everyone. I feel Lily didn’t like Lee and Carley friendship/almost relationship thingy. Cuz if Lily was so pressed abt something petty, wouldn’t she have offed Kenny by now? Especially for killing her dad the way she did. Along with pettiness, Lily was probably jealous of Carley in some way. Cuz Carley also saved more ppl than Lily ever did, was a great shot with barely any gun knowledge, and got along really well with Lee. Lily and Lee could’ve been a nice friendship, but Lily has too much ego and pride.

That moment was so heartbreaking. Not only because Carly died so suddenly and for nothing, but because I don't think Lilly was a bad person. She just had been pushed to her limits and her paranoia took the best of her. And that was the result of so many things, like Kenny always arguing with her about... well, anything and everything, Kenny again murdering her father (right in front of her and in a very violent way) because duh, he knew better than anyone (I really liked the guy but sometimes he deserved a good punch in the face), and eventually that whole thing with Ben giving some of the group's meds and stuff to the baddies. People were always criticizing her decisions but nobody ever really stepped up to take her place, not even Kenny, not even Lee. I chose to left her behind of course because I couldn't forgive her for what she'd done but I still felt bad afterwards, even if I didn't regret my decision (especially when I learnt what would happen if I kept her around). I think that not knowing what happened to her after that is kinda haunting.
I didn't like her but I didn't hate her, until she kills Carly/Doug. I understood that she was just falling apart. If she could have gotten through things I think she would have been a really strong leader behind Lee.

If you understood Lilly's position, then you had the green light to give her a chance to make up for her mistakes and help Kenny the same way too. They both wanted to be leaders of the group and they ended up destroying it.
@@vromaki I don't believe Lilly actually wanted to be a leader. I think she saw it as a responsibility because she used to be a soldier which made her, on paper, the most suited for the role. It's also obvious that her father was pushing her because of how highly he thought of her. He definitely believed that only his daughter could lead the group.
But Lilly mostly seemed to hate being in that position. She was fed up with Kenny basically telling her, every time she took a decision, "lmao nah we should to the exact opposite you idiot". She was the one always in charge of the food and only tells Lee to do it in episode 2 because she's tired of it. And in episode 3 when she tells the group that their medicine and other stuff is disappearing, because I kid you not she is the ONLY ONE in the group making sure that they have what they ALL need to survive, they act like she's crazy despite her being right.
She's basically doing everything for the group and no one seems to be actually helping unless she asks for it. No wonder they almost all died by the end of season one. So yeah, I'm pretty sure she was having some kind of mental breakdown, especially after her father's death, and I can't say I was surprised to see her lose it eventually, even if I hated what happened.
Still, as much as I empathized with her, I still chose to let her go because I felt like I had to choose between helping her (without even a guarantee of being able to do so), risking the lives of everyone else in the group and abandoning her to protect the group while still giving her a (small) chance. I hated both choices but chose the one who felt... "less worse" than the other to me.

Rumors have it that season 2 was supposed to be the last season and would’ve had soooo many dark elements to it . For example , Clem was supposed to get shot in episode 1 by a guy named Winston , Carver supposedly sexually assaulted Rebecca which got her pregnant , Troy was supposed to molest Clem before she killed him , Kenny was supposed to be carver originally , Luke was supposed to be bitten and Clem had to put him down . And lastly Clem and AJ were supposed to be the last survivors of the group and the final episode was supposed to be called “ Better to sleep “ which would’ve gave Clem the choice to either die with AJ in the snow due to hyperthermia or leave AJ on the ground to die by himself and have Clem leave him while she goes into a new town alone . Season 2 was really supposed to be a dark ass season and I’m kinda disappointed that so much content was cut out the game
Ben is the worst liar ever. When the group books in the RV, Ben says "I'm sorry I'm sorry" repeatedly, which would certainly rouse suspicion in Lily. When Lily starts waving the finger, Ben asks to leave and then suggests putting it to a vote, but once they stopped after hitting the walker Ben recants what he says. "Please don't kick me out of the group" and "We don't need all these votes."
He would confess his way to a conviction in no time, even inadvertently.

You know, I have no qualms leaving Lilly behind after she kills Carley. But I honestly feel really sorry for her if you chose to save Doug and Lilly kills him instead. For those who don't know, if you choose to save Doug instead of Carley, afterwards during this scene, instead of suspecting both Ben and Doug like she does for Carley, Lilly only suspects Ben. The scene escalates in a similar way, and Lilly pulls out her gun, intending to shoot Ben. Doug however protects Ben at the last moment and takes the bullet. And considering Ben is a coward, a liar, and a total POS character, and that Lilly was RIGHT in her accusations (Spoiler possibly?) I would've preferred to kick Ben out >.>

It's obvious that Ben was not accustomed to the apocalyptic situation involving bandits as his group was to the point where he started panicking and making stupid decisions. I know it's not much to defend him but face it, a lot of people would be doing the same thing too. I, however, blame Lilly for pressuring him and causing the situation to spiral out of control. Had she calmed down and kept her paranoia in check or at least dropped the situation about the stolen supplies, Carley would at least lived, though at the cost of Ben being booted.

I blame Lily for escalating it further and pressuring Ben instead of dropping it. Also, not everyone would have an immediate survivor instinct from day 1 of the outbreak, let alone 3 months. I kind of blame the motel survivors as well because they did not bother to help Ben and the rest of the children in the motel out with survivability skills until Chuck told Lee that Clem might die because she was not trained to survive the apocalypse.

It was unstable group in the beginning. Lee shouldve taken over after Larrys death. It was power tripping between Lilly and Kenny then when it gone rough no one have stepped in to calm the situation down.

I think Lilly would make it worse by killing Ben. I know a lot of people hate him but it's been only three months. People are just starting to get adjusted to the outbreak.

This is not only ben's fault but also kenny's fault. Twice as much. For killing larry and going so fast he couldn't even watch the road of a walker. Ben should've consulted wirh the group first. And yeah now i know leaving that psychotic father effer out on to the road is a better choice.
none of this is kenny’s fault? had larry turned in the locker, and he would have, everyone in there would have been dead including clementine. lily would have just shot carley the next time they got off the road or even in the RV. this is ben and lily’s faults alone. nobody else in the group would have shot someone innocent over that when it was clear as day ben was lying
