One interesting thing to note is no surveil lands! That is surpsing seems exactly like the kind of thing a jund deck would want imo

@@MrGarruk123 It's a fad tbh. Tap lands suck really hard. There has to be a seriously good reason to run a tap land. The one three colour land is good and jund already has enough fuel with fetch lands, inquisition, thoughtseize, etc.
I'd love to see you build an aggro Jund list with that new "Break Out" card.

One issue with this list is that Orcish Bowmasters is already a far cry from the format scourge it once was. Bowmasters' ping ability doesn't line up well against the current top decks, and most decks aren't drawing a lot of extra cards to punish.
Perhaps similarly, but to a lesser extent, Wrenn and Six seems anemic in this combo forward metagame.
I suspect there is a Jund list worth playing, but I think it'll look a lot different than this one.
Always keen to see Reid's take on updated Jund but I think we missed the mana base update with the new surveil lands. Surely Jund could benfit from one or two
at 19:00, if you knew or thought they likely had tidebinder, you could've not swung with Dauthi, sac E.E. on their turn, and when they tishana you, fatal push the tidebinder, cast it with dauthi to counter their tidebinder trigger. there would even still be a 3/2 on board!
Jund without Goyf just feels so sad.
Most people are saying Goyf is out a date. But Goyf still wins games
Goyf is still top of its class in terms of what it does. The actual issue is lack of space and need for certain utility creatures to help against certain matchups. Especially in a combo heavy meta. Dauthi deals with more atm.
14:13 Fire ice definitely the right choice here. You'll get access to L revealed no matter what; this takes away their next turn (unless they top deck exactly a land which would have been good for them no matter what).
2:03:43 bad luck but why not -2 Lili here? I know you have it answered with FoV later, but that's after a 12 pt life swing and I'd think a known wurmcoil threat is worse than your average unkown threat? Esp if you might get to keep Lili after.

I think Tarmogoyf should be on the list. I like Goyf in the Yawg match-up.
They normally dont have cheap removal to deal with it, and it can end games pretty quickly.
Especially since jund utilities, the early turns disrupting them. If given the time, Yawgmoth can top deck into a win.
Goyf imo is the best card versus Rhinos aswell.
And one other thing if the deck is playing Dauthi i think Urborg should be in the list aswell
How did skipping past his turn happen anyway? Was it a bug or did he press F6 during his turn by accident?
Usually an accidental keystroke or misclick if you try to save time by turning off yields with the mouse menu. I know in the past I've been guilty of holding my fingers on 1 and 6 so I can try to finish turns quickly and hit 6 by accident. It's a bad habbit.

Reid is a much better player than I’ll ever be but no goyf has to be wrong as it’s the only card in jund that can apply pressure. That being said this entire list looked mediocre

Den of the bear in your push+ ts+voidwalker deck that also idealy curves into a 3 drop. This is doomed to be a tapped land turn 4-5 AND will turn alot of start hands into unkeepable. Thats like drunken level bad deckbuilding. The bowmasters look also rather dull/bad given the Meta. If goyf doesn't cut it we need to lock elsewhere. Even tho goyf looks okay with rhinos surving/domain zoo etc. Either way a horrible starting point imho

Just because he is an amazing player ( and i know, played vs him several Times at GPS back in the days) does Not make a big error less bad in deckbuilding. The den is awful in this decks mana needs and well bowmaster being kinda bad atm is an opion shared by many. Well in regards to midrange decks ofc, the multiple bodies makes it a very differrnt beast for yawg.
