How many Monke does it take to beat Elden Ring?

- In this video, I start with 5 Demi-humans and attempt to beat all the story bosses in the game. Each time the Demi-humans are defeated, I add more of them and try again. By the end of the game, I have quite the army of Monke fighting for me
A few notes:
1. I always did these fights at night, the Demi humans are programmed to be more aggressive at night.
2. The Demi Human queen crystal shards attack is absolutely busted against targets larger than the player. You can see her chunking Maliketh and Godfrey with it
3. Their AI got a little screwy in the fire giant fight so I had to stand near him most of the time, making the footage a little less than ideal
4. For some reason, the game always crashed when I tried to fight them against Astel - Hry
Malenia healing from half hp to full, getting stunned out of waterfowl, and then being absolutely demolished was quite something

I mean Moonveil + Lightning Incantations + Mimic Tear with the Lightning Incantations spamming her in the water while you take aggro = Malania staggered to death stupid fast
Imagine living through the Age of the Erdtree, the Liurnian Wars, and even the Shattering only to get jumped by a Tarnished and his army of angry crack monkeys, and then all they say as you lay dying is "Ape together strong" lmao
The demihumans in ER are a fun little faction I wish we could interact with more of them

Your racist for calling them monkeys
One tip for the future, ofc, if you're planning to use multiple (>10) summoned mobs.
The basic spirit summons have their status resist set to pretty much "infinity" numbers-wise, same as some bosses are "Immune" to status effects. Meaning that they cannot be rotted, poisoned, etc.
But the copies of mobs taken from game files very likely have those resistances much lower, which resulted in monkeys catching Space AIDS in Malenia fight.
Try to alter those resistance stats for them to make them fully equal to summons. Also, that "spectral glow" summons have, is an effect (iirc, Efx Param), so you can apply it to the summoned mobs, to make them a full-on summons.
Besides that - absolutely loved the video.

@@troglodyte480 Especially for that string which is weirdly one of rarest items in the game.
Prior to watching my main bosses of concern are Fire Giant and Elden Beast, both of them have massive AoEs that can output some ridiculous damage.
Gideon really did deserve that after all the shit he did

@@matiasluukkanen7718What Ranni did was evil but it was to remove the frankly far worse Greater Will and complete domination of the Erdtree. Gideon was willing to do anything to find knowledge, no matter the cost. He was a bastard through and through.

this could be really interesting if you took a more active role in the combats so the demi-human counts dont get out of hand too quickly. Doing things like heals, aoe buffs (e.g golden vow, commander's standard) so you're more like a commander of the demi-human army.

You should do this with the Kaiden Sellsword. Ive always sent him out for fun, because this man will shout and throw himself recklessly into battle and, because hes not very tough, will more often than not die in the first few seconds. Its hilarious. And i really wonder how many of them it would take to beat Elden Ring.

Ooh the birds idea sounds amazing, it'd be pure chaos. Flowers would be interesting too, they'd have a tough time with Elden Beast though, since he can't be poisoned
@@troglodyte480 The flowers have also that moves that shoots projectiles from the earth. I think it's holy damage, so it will deal next to nothing to elden beast, but it's aoe made out of multiple projectiles, and they tend to melt big bosses.
I think they'll be able to kill it, but the framerate will probably die before elden beast does.

You say it is capped to 10, but there is a mod that summons 20+ soldiers in the form of an army for each soldier ash.
Rather than every 5 being a chief and every 10 being a queen you should trade 4 monke for chief and 8 monke for Queen. That way you can avoid overwhelming victories against some of the bosses after magma wyrm
