Attack Maximum Challenge main event, Attack Tsukuba held on February 23, 2019.
This year's event was by far the biggest event yet, with both entrants and spectators coming from all over Japan and also overseas.
The biggest news for this year's Attack Tsukuba was the entry of WTAC entrants Vibrant Civic of Canada and JDM Yard Civic of Australia.
This is Part 2 and is the highlights of the day.
I did my best to capture as much footage as possible but the video mainly focuses on the Super Lap session, which sees 3 or 4 cars go out for 2 clear timed laps each.
There were numerous entrants that set new personal bests and other that came close so watch to find out who went how fast

今年のアタック筑波は過去最高の盛り上がりを見せました。
参加者も見学者も国内各地はもちろん、海外からも数多くの人がみられました。
特に今年はWTAC参加者であるカナダのVibrantシビックとオーストラリアからのJDM Yardシビックが参戦しました。
数多くの視聴者の皆さんからより近くで参加車両を見たいとのリクエストとこのイベントの多い参加台数を考慮して、今回はパート１とパート２の二分割でお届けします。

This might be the most impressive Attack yet. I know there weren't any headline sub 50 times. But having two foreign cars breaking records is amazing

The Hondas from Straya/Canada are the best proof for the phrase I often tell, when somebody starts fanboying a car or a car brand: Money can make ANY car go fast (sure you need a proper driver too)! Nevertheless I (as a former Honda driver) like to see Hondas setting some records ;)

Uau that impreza wagon with the gt wing its a first, and it looks really cool
So as for now,the classes in Attack (and probably JP time attack in general) are Real Tuning,Second,Ladies,Radial,NA and Turbo.....or is there any other classes?Need some pointers here
It's quite official, the RB26, w/it's .433L per cylinder and 12 exhaust valves opening and closing is the best sounding engine of 'em all..

That was awesome as usual, but I don't agree on one point, Hoosier is pretty popular in Japan, but in drag racing. In the Hi land Drag way or Central Circuit, I couldn't count how much car (if not all) were seating on Hoosiers ;)
That's true. The brand has had a distributor in Japan for years and has been well known in certain types of racing. There have also been entrants at Attack running them but still, the brand was nowhere near as commonly known as say in N America, where I grew up.
Either way, my point was that the Vibrant Civic really helped push the brand here, with staff from Hoosier on hand, not to mention the amazing times they managed.

I heard JDMYard Civic got the fastest speed and then Vibrant Civic got it higher at 253kph!!!
Not sure where that info is from. Currently, the official record is the speed set by JDM Yard.

I just confirmed with Will and he did not go faster than the JDM Yard Hardrace EG6.
