Over the years, through your videos, you’ve taken me to so many places around the world. Places I knew about, and places I never heard about. Many places so inviting, and others, well, No Thank You! I do enjoy the highlife places where there’s lots of activity, partying, and noise. Yet on the other end of the spectrum, a place like Koh Rong Island can truly be the cat’s meow for peace and relaxation. If the opportunity were to ever come my way to vacation on Koh Rong Island, I’d definitely go! I approve! When I tell you that it’s been -34C with 38cm of snow on the ground, believe me when I say I’m worried about you overheating and getting sunburned! Ahaha! 🤣
Ahah, well, for once I got worried too: and that’s why the hat and I secretly used the sunscreen for my neck, cause I didn’t want to end up looking like a massive tomato!

Sihanoukville was like a ghost town when I first returned to work at the seaport in mid 1979 after Pol Port forces were defeated. Most of the buildings were destroyed from the war and the city started to develop within the last twenty years. I left this city in late 1979 and I've returned my first trip in 1995 to find some old friends. Only memory lives on as I had to live through the Khmer Rouge genocide from 1975 and most of my family members did not survive. Cambodia has come a long way since the prolonged civil war was officially ended upruptly in 1998. Peace out from a genocide survivor!
