How about showing how you pull the cabling all the way through the boot lid?
I'm guessing he didn't need to. there was a wireless receiver at the front so must have been a transmitter in the boot lid.

Yes it will always be on, it would be better if we connected it to the reverse light
Hi, we have connected the wireless module and camera to the rear lights but when the brake is pushed or the intermitent lights are on (consumer) we get parasits on the image and also the signal is interupted. We consider to give the + from the trunk 12V power source which is not affected by any cumsumer to see if the problem persists. Good video. Cheers!
If your radio has 12 output for the camera it would be the best to connect it there because it is filtered 12v and not affected by the cars alternator and wont give wierd artifacts to your wireless transmiter
@@DIYGarageProjects The canbus already picks up the engaged reverse signal. Wich means you don't even have to connect to reverse light. Just pull the +12v and video signal wire to the back of the unit and connect to the dedicated BACK wire.
Excuse me. I have installed this GPs in my Octavia 2 FL(2010)and I think all wires al correct in the installation as ther is no ACC wire because the car stops the radio by CANBUS. Which CANBUS Type do you have selected?if I select CANBUS type 80 (volkswagen) doesn´t saves some settings every time I remove the car key.
Oh, yea, we had similar ploblem, stereo didnt store any settings after car was turned off
Car stereo has 2 12v wires one should always be powered even when car is off(thats usually the yellow wire), and there is a remote wire(usually red) witch chould be powered on when you turn the key to acc, im not 100 sure because it was some time ago when we installed the head unit but i think we found the "remote wire" from cars wire harness behind the head unit( use a multimeter) and spliced it and connected it to the remote connector of the head unit leaving the canbus wires connector disconnected.. i beleive this is what we have done hope it helps

Zanima me kod spajanja kabela na multimediju…. Gdje si (tj na šta si zalemio/zaletovao crvenu žicu za kontrolu rikverca) u moru žica koja je to boja ????
Zuti konektor ide na Zuti to nema fule.
I Nazad napajanje si uzeo od rikverca ok… Zuti dio si konektovao na Zuti konektor a na šta si opet na ovom kraju zaletovao/zalemio crvenu žicu koja je duga 10-15cm isto kao na prednjem dijelu kod multimedije.

I have finally installed correctly and everything works fine . Have you tried .mp4 files? I introduce de SD card and in the radio appears the files twice but one is corrupt and doesn’t plays. So it is very annoying . Yours works fine with .MP4 ?

Hi, great video. I have a problem. When I start the car and reverse gear, the car radio loses signal and there is no camera image. The receiver and transmitter are energized (LEDs are on). When the engine is off, the signal from the camera works and I see the image. Where could be the problem ?. well thank you
