Great video! Helped me give up on doing it myself due to my lack of ability.
Got it sorted now😂
Try to make the music louder. I could still here the voice
Whoops😂
@@supercheapautotv Happy to work with you guys here in Brisbane
I know it sounds the same, but the correct spelling is *HEAR*
@@runescaper1333 lol thank you. I blame auto correct :)
@@runescaper1333or I went off my rocker because the music was so loud :)
Now I can show this to someone to do it for me lmaoo
That's what friends are for right?
Use a t-tap makes it way easier
Do not install the camera first, make sure the angle is right first.
Good advice
you could also just wrap the wire tight to the other wire, then use rubber electric tape and wrap it real tight.
I have led lights on camera, when I plug camera video cable to car multimedia head unit, car lights are on.
camera working only in reverse mode with ignition, but lights not turning off when turning ignition off / removing key.
what am i doing wrong / how can I fix it?
thanks
Great video but that screen looks a bit 2004 not 2024
There should be a app for displaying the câmera...it would be much easier...
Said with another words: Forget the shit! Or let some pros mount it for you.
is it possible to connect it to the screen already in your car?
I don't believe so.
@@nirhaber6149It should be
If your stereo head unit has an r-cam RCA port then you should be able to hook the camera up to it, as long as your camera and stereo are compatible.
Great video, but that music is far too loud!
What I don't get is how to get the wire to the front? He is putting the wire in the bottom of the boot? But how to open your door? Where does the wire come from? My boot door is opening up into the air (I don't know how to better describe this)?
You have to possibly remove the felt panel from the boot lid to run the wire over to the boot hinge. Zip tie the wire to the hinge leaving some slack. Then pull the lever for your back seat rest and feed the wire from the trunk to the inside of the car and route it underneath the bottom trim panels by the door.
I put the camera on but it doesn't show the lines. How can I display the lines?
On most cameras there a small seperate wires located on the video feed wire. Usually if you cut one, it will hive you lines. And if you cut the other one (if there a two) it will change video resolution or output type.
Why do we need to solder the camera cord? Can’t it just be covered in tape?
Exhaustingly complicated I’ll pay an installer
Amen
Im about 2 hours in, can confirm its not easy or an hour job
I'm getting the wireless solar one..😢
@@ace1007 I posted for an auto electrician on Airtasker. Very satisfied and good price. He had two bags full of tools. He mounted the reverse cam perfectly dead centre and discreetly under an overhang above the number plate. Ran the cam wiring to the head unit through the cable that unlocks the boot. Completely hidden. Well worth the money to have it done professionally. Do not recommend DIY.
I've installed four (two for myself, two for others) and it really depends on the make/model of the car and how easy things are to locate, route and move. Some can be done in 30 mins, others a lot longer.
I think he means, call him.
Music what's going on how aerating ?????
Can i eat the camera ?
Hey! I didn't come here for the music! 😡
Just solder into your ignition wiring, yikes, no thanks!
I agree, would you say there's another way around it i dont want to stuf up my ignition wires :)
Yes you can just crimp the wires together and apply heartshrink over it 😊
@@ratnavenkat7623 Complete beginner, no idea what I'm doing so please forgive my ignorance. Would wrapping the wires together and covering with electrical tape work?
i just joined in the fuse box
Did that work just as well?@@turoterore8978
To make sure that viewers can only make out every other word, just add annoying soundtrack.
That’s not how to solder. “Tinning” is covering the cooper wires in solder. You should never carry the solder on the soldering iron.
The soldering iron tip must be tinned. I think he meant that. You could also tin the wires and this will allow the solder to flow more freely.
Lol. He did the proper technique actually, that's what you're supposed to do!
Oh dear
