Yes, once they are bad enough. It does take time though.

@@ToolDemos I have 2005 STS cadillac and I need it a tune up.And I had it and then other mechanic told me I needed new valve cover gasket because I keep on getting p0301.Then I had oil leaking in my driveway it was small drops.And I took my car to dealership and the mechanic I had doing the valve cover gasket before did a bad job.Now the dealership is charging me 880 since most mechanic where I stay at want to overcharge me for other things I don't need.
