I personally prefer Blaze and Sonic as a duo over Blaze and Silver. Sonic is the one who taught her about friendship, and this literally changed her life. They are also designed to be opposites of one another. For example, Sonic is carefree at the surface but can always keep his cool during tense moments like boss fights while Blaze is outwardly stoic but quite emotional deep down. This is because she tends to bottle up her emotions as she places the huge responsibility of being the princess and guardian of the Sol emeralds on her shoulders. Eventually, she learns to open up. Their dynamic just makes more sense.

Yeah if I could remake 06 I would make it to be a sequel to sonic rush, replace Elise with blaze in the story, make soleana blaze's kingdom (because let's be honest it makes much more sense, SOL emeralds, SOLeana ), give blaze her own playable campaign which unlike shadow (past) and silver (future), it will follow the theme about the present alongside sonic, the plot is basically stopping eggman nega while sonic stops eggman and yes I'll even go as far as making a romantic subplot between sonic and blaze because 1: I hated how the fans only seem to remember her because of the original 06 because THEY like to ship her with silver for no reason and made all the meaningful moments from sonic rush where sonic and cream helped her to open up more was all forgotten about because "silvaze" , 2 : after playing rush and rush adventure I have to say sonic and blaze really do have a natural liking of one another, I mean they are opposites and you know the term opposites attract and 3 : it would also be interesting to see these two actually be in a relationship with each other, sonic is a guy who is afraid to get into of a relationship because of Amy and blaze is more independent but seeing them both together just seems to work, heck in an old interview back at around 2005-2010 some of the sonic team members were asked "if sonic we're to settle down, who would he realistically end up with?" and I was expecting amy because I was a sonamy fan (WAS, not anymore) but shockingly they answered BLAZE, oh and lets just say that they got a lot of angry emails from a angry little sonamy fan who wasn't really good at spelling very well with a lot of no no words back then ( I was not proud of it) lol.

I really appreciate the way that her friendship with Silver lets her pass on some of the impact that Sonic had on her. It's a great illustration of how the impact of one person (Sonic) can ripple out affecting people further down the line. :)
Blaze is amazing. I really love her as a character and her character development, though I really don’t like how she was arbitrarily shoved into 06 and didn’t do much other than her sacrifice. Her and Silver as a duo was pretty forced to me, especially given all the nonsensical time travel mumbo jumbo involved that her being in the future as opposed to being from a different dimension creates. I prefer her in the Rush games and I personally like her and Sonic as a duo better. I think Blaze and Sonic work better since they both have shown to be equals and trust each other deeply, plus she represents fire while Sonic represents the wind. Fire can’t spread as effectively without the wind. It’s too fitting. Plus he’s one of the people who helped her come out of her shell and trust others. She’s my second favorite Sonic character after Rouge. I can definitely say thought that I would love to see a spin-off game series solely focused on her and her dimension. Her world really needs some more fleshing out and I think there’s lots of potential. Sonic Rush Adventure only gave us a taste of her dimension.

I sadly think Blaze was ruined after the Rush games because she was shoved with Silver for no reason, who shouldn't exist at all in the Sonic canon at all since he was fucking erased from it in 06. As long as Silver is around, I sadly think it means Blaze can't live up to her true potential because Sega insists on shoving them together even though they never should have been together in the first place. The Rush games were basically erased from existence so they could say Blaze and Eggman Nega were actually from the future and all that shit. It's sad.

I couldnt agree more with you, we will never get a Sonic rush 3 because of blaze being a Sidekick for silver.
My fanon/theory is that Blaze is still from a different reality in '06, but due to Sonic's world and her's not being in temporal synch* when she returns to Sonic's world, it's after the Iblis disaster, and being a good kitteh, sticks around to fix what went wrong finding Silver sometime later and training him so together they can stop the disaster from ever happening. Of course, since she appeared in a ruined world with few survivors there weren't any verifiable records of how things came to pass hence the mix up of suspecting Sonic.
Note: temporal synch means progressing along time at the same rate. To use Dragon Ball Z as an example remember the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and how 1 year inside was only a day of "real" time? Something like that but applied to a multiverse, so that one reality in the multiverse can progress faster or slower relative to others in the multiverse.
Now if this is the case in Sonic '06, I further theorize that creatures and objects don't default to their home realities pace, but adjust according to the local conditions. Whether that's a natural aspect of crossing dimensional boundaries or due to the magic or tech capable of making that crossing doing it to make interaction more user friendly is indeterminable at this time. More likely though is that the writers didn't think anywhere near as hard about it as I just did.

I’m just gonna put my theory in writing here. Many people write off the events of ‘06 due to the story’s unfortunate clash with the Rush games.
But something that isn’t well known is that they were meant to be connected all along, as it was stated that the developers intended to connect the two story-wise.
Blaze’s story begins in Silver’s future. Being friends at a young age, Silver was the only one who didn’t tease Blaze for her powers.
Silver, being emotional and naive, possesses powers that require focus and brain power. This directly contrasts Blaze’s logical, mature personality; she controls fire, an innately fervent, intense element.
The pair are co-dependent and look to each other for support. When Blaze was sealed away into another dimension with Iblis...
She was reborn, like a phoenix.
In the Sol Dimension, Blaze was born as a princess of a royal family. Growing up without Silver caused her to hide her powers from others and conceal her emotions, making her reclusive as a result.
When she met Cream, and later Sonic, then Marine, she learned the importance of friendship. At this point, Blaze and Silver seem to have no memory of each other, but as they cross paths in the DS version of Sonic Colors, they note feeling some sort of connection, as if they’ve worked together before.
Finally, in Generations, the Time Eater jumbles up everything. Blaze even notes that she remembers Crisis City, and she’s seen with Silver and Cream near the end...
So they might as well be picking up the pieces.
I always thought it was the other way around, Blaze was born as a Princess in the Sol Dimension with a strict upbringing. Then after meeting Cream & learning about friendship from her & Sonic she returned home promising that she would return to visit Cream soon. Blaze's intended visiting of Cream happened the moment Iblis was released & she ended up in the future with amnesia. There the 14 year old cat found herself hated & despised for her flames by everyone except Silver who accepted her as a partner. The 2 became close during their fights against Iblis while searching for a way to end their constantly apocalyptic world's problems.
Even in the new timeline Blaze probably still finds she has nightmares of that Future which never was, leaking through to her much the same way Sonic & Elise still had faint memories of the events of the game in its epilogue. Sonic Generations revealed not only did that timeline still exist, although brought back the memories of it for both Blaze & Silver. I believe that somewhere out there lost in the void between timelines there's another Blaze the Cat who is all alone doing all she can to avoid crying with Iblis sealed inside her. Perhaps she'll eventually end up in another timeline & Iblis would be released again.

What about an Adventure 3 with a playable Blaze? It's technically done in Sonic 06, so who's to say it's can't happen in a proper Adventure 3?

Nevertheless, Sega could experiment with "mixing" different characters together. For example, I recently came to the conclusion that I would love to see Silver working with Rouge. Still so much to do, Sega.

honestly, the fact that Blaze has stayed so consistent in her Character and motives in the colors Era is impressive, maybe goes to show that she's such a good character that the writers always make justice for her one way or another... showing that it's only reasonable that she gets either her own game or another game where her and Sonic are the protagonists.
She deserves it.

One opportunity I wished they capitalised on was having Sonic and Blaze tag team the Whisker and Johnny boss.
They could have a cool tag team Attack/finisher and helping to take down the duo while you fight to represent their bond.
It's really sad that Dimps never got another shot at a third rush game. Perhaps if Rush Adventure's sales were better...we could of seen more of Blaze. Maybe Sonic 4 wouldn't have happened with Dimps busy on a new game set going around the Sol Dimension. Maybe we could of even seen how the Sol Emeralds work and how their powers aren't as dangerous as the Chaos Emeralds...
The Sol Emeralds aren't chaotic. They're the opposite, giving the user a Lawful Good or Evil mindset instead of going Chaotic Good or Evil. They channel into the soul itself, which is why Blaze's newly found friendship gave them power again. The Chaos Emeralds are always dispersing energy non-stop (unless relocated), but the Sol Emeralds don't give the user anything unless they push themselves hard enough.
At the end, both the Chaos and Sol Emeralds are equally hard to control, but the latter becomes easier with time with the former starting off easy, but getting more difficult. They're truly like magnets, which is utterly genius! You could easily write an essay about the Sol and Chaos Emeralds!

I don't know why but while I have played through the original Rush game over 20 times I never finished adventures.
Well part of it is because in Rush and Rush Adventures, it actually seemed from their interactions that Sonic and Blaze might end up together and we'd have likely seen a Sonic and Blaze canon pairing in the third Rush game and, knowing Sega's almost pathological obsession with making sure Sonic has no lovers, no equals, and no weaknesses, Sega would have made sure that this NEVER happened. This would explain why Sega NEVER brings up the Rush games and ALWAYS tries to make Blaze look like Silver's sidekick like she basically was in Sonic 06 in every game where they might bring her up

Blaze and silver are my 2 absolute favorites. I really hope they get their own game together because they deserve it, IMO they’re the most developed characters and have very interesting backgrounds. I love their chemistry together

@@antyep Well they are Both Serious and of Royalty sure Blaze hasn't shown any Leadership to the team ala Forces that was Knuckles but she could rise to it if given the chance and would you prefer her as the leader if knuckles chose not to lead and sonic wasn't around? I say yes she would be a great strategist advanced Eggman's forces due to her ironically cool and calm mindset that could surpass tails when it comes to dealing with war but I don't know how smart she is so tails would be her support to see if the strategy could be pulled off

Of course she has lots of differences from Sally, though they have similarties as well. They are pretty much the sun and moon (guess who's the sun XD)

I like to imagine that if you gave Blaze Sally's past(like her planet having been taken over by her Eggman and she having been a freedom fighter trying to overthrow him) or have Sally seal Iblis inside her during Sonic 06 instead of Blaze and later appear in Sonic Rush with fire powers, you'd essencially have the same character with a few personality changes
I think this is why they fit with Sonic so well despite Blaze often being paired with Silver

Blaze is probably my favorite character in the SEGA continuity, just from her personality and abilities. It'd be nice if she got to be legitimately involved in a cool story again. Like, maybe a solo adventure set between Sonic 06 and Rush.
Although 06 is vehemently ignored by fans, I like to think it shows Blaze and the Sol Emeralds' origins. Like, I may be forgetting something, but I don't think she ever meets the main cast there, so it doesn't contradict Sonic Rush. And in the end, she seals herself and Iblis in another dimension.
So, there's a perfect opportunity to tell a story about Iblis escaping in this new world, and Blaze finding a way to transform it from a mindless monster into the Sol Emeralds.

Sonic 06 is a story of time-travelling in which in the end , the whole set of events of the game was erased with that time manipulation.
It's not inconsequential , but her sacrifice and Silver's tragic future changed because of it.

Her original character design become Shadow. You can see it if you search “Prototype Blaze”. It’d be cool to see the two characters interact now or see some reference to their creation.
Personally, when I look at Blaze, she's kind of the inbetweener of Sonic and Knuckles. She's the guardian of her world's emeralds and like you said, duty bound and distant, much like Knuckles. But she's clearly the heroic/determined figure as well, much like Sonic. That and her being purple is kind of a clue (Sonic Blue+Knuckles Red=Blaze Purple).
Hmm surprised you didn't mention the other important interaction in Rush Adventure: Blaze's interaction with Marine the Racoon. The fact that her bluntness hurt Marine to the point where Marine runs off is further development for Blaze. While she may have learned to open up with Cream, Marine was a test on Blaze's patience and social skills. The duo are polar opposites, yet Blaze can still be friends with Marine. This says a lot, considering even the energetic Sonic found Marine to be annoying at times.

I agree. I feel bad about the Character downfalls. Especially Knuckles and Amy,They’re the two {I personally Think} Who got the Absolute WORSE Character Downfalls.
Instead of Knuckles being a Smart,Tough,Awesome,stay on guard but soft {Soft towards his friends sometimes} Character,He was downgraded to a “Dumb” and Unknowing Character. It feels as if it’s a Insult to Knuckles tbh {Yes I’m talking about the Shows too :/}. Especially bc a Lot of Kids looked up to Knuckles!
Same with Amy,Again instead of her being a Smart,Beautifully Kind,Loving and Compassionate Girl. She’s a Ruthless “Yandere” for Sonic and doesn’t give shits about saving others.

If Sonic Adventure 3 ever came out, It seems natural that Blaze should be a key part of the story.
I've seen some videos on this channel and they're really interesting! They really show the true nature of a character and it's like discovering something new about them... I thought I knew Sonic characters well but this research really helped me understand them deeply!

In the story I'm working on, Blaze comes from a dystopian future like in Sonic 06, but unlike Sonic 06, it's a frozen wasteland instead of a flaming ruin. Blaze and Silver go back in time and discover that it was an ice-powered individual who caused it, and Blaze gets the final boss! Blaze's fire powers are truly the best chance they have against someone with ice powers, and it's also personal for Blaze, as this new ice-powered character is responsible for ruining their future.
Blaze is best Sonic Girl. No competition needed.

I personally believe that the reason (Or rather, one of the big reasons) Blaze is widely considered the best girl in Sonic is because she is a completely different character concept than them. Let me explain: Most other females in the sonic-verse are created as side characters. Amy was created to be Sonic's admirer and not much more. Sure she's grown a lot since then, but she's still always a side character even when she's one of the main playable cast, like in Adventure and Heroes. Similarly, Rouge was conceptualized as Shadow's partner. Not quite a sidekick, but definitely not a main focus either, you could take her out of the game and few adjustments would be all that necessary. Wave? She's Jet's partner. Elise? Sonic's VERY short lived love interest. Marine? Just an annoying tag along. What about Cream? Okay, Cream's an exception, being a stand user and all that, but still she isn't all that important either. But Blaze is different, she wasn't conceptualized as a tag along or side kick, she was made to rival Sonic. They didn't ask "How should we make this female character" when creating Blaze, they asked "How should we make this Rival", and so she got to be just as cool as Sonic, even cooler in some regards with her unique pyrokinesis and getting her own special super form all to herself. She really deserves another notable game, maybe a spinoff specifically starring her and Silver trying to fix a problem in space time or something.
Love Blaze, she's my favorite character in the entire Sonic franchise unless maybe we say Archie Sonic with Nicole. I absolutely love her. I hate Silver though, he shouldn't exist and in my opinion Blaze's character is ruined and dragged through the mud after the Rush games. Rush Blaze doesn't even exist anymore now that 06 is canonical despite 06 never happening within the Sonic canon canonically.
It is super sad that she isn't playable in any other Sonic games, considering we're in the boost era and Blaze with Rush is basically where that formula was invented.
I believe she references the Sol Emeralds in the most recent game, so I'm not sure why you'd think 06 superseded her original backstory. And honestly, Blaze's role in 06 can fit in with her Rush story too.
In 06, she seals herself and Iblis in some alternate dimension. We can just assume that that's the one from the Rush games, and that she either seals Iblis into the Sol Emeralds, or somehow creates the Emeralds from Iblis.
06 may have written itself out of existence, but since we're dealing with crazy time travel stuff anyway, we can say that by moving to another reality, Blaze was basically exempt from the paradox.
Alternatively (& more likely if you ask me) Sonic Rush could have been Blaze's Origin, then when she returned to visit Cream, Iblis attacked her on arrival & Blaze ended up in the future with amnesia. Silver would be the only person who accepted her with the powers she had & they would become close as partners trying to end their futuristic world's neverending apocalypse. With the events of 06 removing themselves from the main timeline, Blaze like other characters would still have faint memories of what happened in Sonic 06 that would be awakened by Crisis City's return in Sonic Generations.
There's likely another Blaze that's still out there somewhere in the void between timelines with Iblis inside her. Blaze really deserved her own offshoot series for games like Rush by Dimps & even comics if you ask me. Marine & later Silver could serve as sidekicks for her in her fights against Eggman Nega that should have kept happening for 3DS. The Reason why we didn't get to play as Blaze in more games officially was those blasted Critics (who always hated the characters) that tricked Sega of America into changing everything about the series in the aftermath of Sonic 06.

@@freezeblazestar1079 I know. However, I don't like the way continuity issues are just ignored between Rush, Rivals, and 06. Especially when a little creative thinking can salvage it all so well.
I guess this will be a hot take here, but personally one of the things I can't stand about 06 is Blaze's thoughtless inclusion. I have a deep respect for her character and the story of Sonic Rush, so dropping her into 06 without any respect to history pisses me off to no end, and I can't humor her connection with Silver in the slightest. I have somewhat of an irrational distaste for Silver because of it too.
I'm also not a fan of Sonic Rush Adventure's story because of how off the cuff Sonic and Blaze's reintroduction was. The ending of Rush 1 was so emotional and made a point of how significant a reunion would be, especially with the weight of potentially fucking up their worlds again. Then in Rush Adventure and it's like they met just last Tuesday for brunch and whatever.
Blaze is my favorite StH character, but I'm of the opinion they did her dirty immediately after Rush. The best I can say is her characterization stuck, which is admittedly somewhat of a miracle looking at the other characters now.
I really agree with you on that, I really hate that a lot of fans just prefer the boring 06 version of her over the original better version of her from rush because "Dughh blaze needs to be put with silver because SILVAZE, because sonic 06 dughh" it's just insulting that fans would ruined blaze because of silvaze , instead of you know treating her like a character and I will never forgive 06 or silver for letting that happen. I never want to see them both together ever again, It wasn't too bad the first time but then it just got worse that It developed into a personal hatred towards silver and I really hate that I hate him like this.

Sonic rush was a childhood fav of mine and really got me into sonic as a series
Blaze is honestly my favorite female character in Sonic. I just wish he is playable again. I mean, Rush is pretty much a 2D boast game so I don't see how it is hard to have her playable in a game like Unleashed, Colors, Generations or Forces... which I just realized she isn't even in Forces even she could of been extremely there.... Well, at least she is in the comic.
I swear... almost all sonic characters added have more than it meets the eye.

Sonic Rush was my first Sonic game ever. Since then I considered her my favorite character in the games. Luckily they didn’t ruin her character, but they ignored her. I would love to see her come again but I don’t see that happening.
I actually love Silvers and Blaze relationship since I think that this is one of the few things that actually gave them character in 06. 06 is bad and Silver has such great potential but was badly introduced which is also why Blaze character suffered. If the games after the movie don't get better, I don't have any hope for them though besides games that are just like Sonic Colors where they just serve as side characters. But tbh I think Silver wasn't just introduced for the character himself but also as Blazes male counterpart. (though technically it's supposed to be Sonic but that only served ad her introduction) you know, Amy and Sonic. Rouge and Shadow. Silver and Blaze. Like some other user said, characters get good story and background in the game they're introduced in but after that they just serve as side characters. (Silver has the worst game introduction even though he has such great potential)
Blaze has the same problem as almost every other new Sonic character. She gets little to no screen time or importance after the game she stars in.

Tails, Knuckles, and Shadow all got a lot of plot importance for several games after their first appearances, and even got at least one starring-role in a spinoff game each to themselves.
To be fair the reason why Blaze never got proper screen time is that she debut during the dark era and she wasn't received very well at the time. Sega wanted to go to a more minimalist and more comedic direction starting with Colors but the problem with that direction is that it leaves no room for Blaze (let alone Tails and Knuckles) for any major role in the story despite being virtually the only character other than Sonic that can fit the boost formula but Sega insist on keeping Sonic the only playable character and resorting to gimmicks to pad out the games.

reason amy hasn't had a super form is because only those with a inner connection to the power of chaos from the emeralds can use them to transform. knuckles and his lineage have been using and protecting the master emerald for a few thousand years, blaze and her dimentions soul emeralds are likley a similar case to knuckles, shadow was designed with using chaos abilites in mind and was carried over from his prototype the bioliizard. chaos was once a chao but was mutated by the master emerald into a being that is practically made of chaos energy, and sonic....we don't know his connection has been a mystery for years. but then theres the super emeralds which changes everything, tails cannot obtain a super from with chaos emeralds but after the master emerald powers them up to super emeralds both tails and a group of flickies are able to use that power so theoreticly maybe anyone can get a super form by that method

I'd like to see a video about Amy from 1998-2009. I consider that to be the best Amy. I don't like the current Amy. She's too sassy and mom like that it feels like a different character. Amy back then had more personality like being kind, caring, and stubborn. People always like to complain about her obsessing over Sonic saying it's "creepy", and I think people take that way too seriously. Creepy is like Helga from Hey Arnold making a statue of Arnold out of his own chewed bubblegum. Amy has never went that far. I hate seeing Amy ridiculed like this, and she deserves more respect

I like Blaze. She has a personality like mine. She's also my favorite female character. I haven't played Sonic 06 but I played Sonic Rush and I liked her story more than Sonic's. And I loved Sonic Rush final story. I haven't played Sonic Rush Adventure either but I'll do it soon. I've seen some cutscenes of Silver story in Sonic 06 and I like her friendship with him. However, I'd like to see another game where she and cream are together and are friends again.

Love your videos my dude, and this one is no exception. But I’m afraid I have to disagree with the Silver part....
I like the guy, but not as a duo with Blaze. Her entire inclusion in 06 made no sense whatever and they basically chucked her character and backstory to be Silver’s sidekick who contributes very little to the game itself (she could easily pass for Silver’s invisible friend)
And now it’s like she can’t be seen without him, even though their relationship makes ZERO sense. All that development she had gotten from Cream and Sonic.... It means zilch now because Silver is her BFF now and forever....

Yeah, as interesting as Silver and Blaze's dynamic is, seeing Blaze and Sonic work together or Blaze and Cream always seems like a better combination. But I get why they're always a team, Cream is established part of Team Rose, and Sonic is on... well Team Sonic. it would be nice to see another Sonic Rush title though, that was my first introduction to Sonic and I'd love to see the two team up again!
i loved how sonic 06 solidified the silver and blazes close sibling relationship. although i wish we’d see her interact with amy or sonic since theyre friends. i really hope they add her into more content!

Awesome video ! Blaze is my favourite female and arguably my favourite character. And also very relateable. It's as if she was a mobian version of myself -making my oc unnecessary-
1:00 - 2:00 Ouch. That part really hurts because it is true. While I always loved and related more to Shadow and now Whisper from IDW (who have all similar personalities. Whisper is just like Blaze just...100% introverted. Amy even says it to Blaze) I am totally that introverted teenager who "is not allowed to express herself" and spends most of her time alone, studying, preparing for the future. "She's dealt with that for years. It's all she ever knew. She does not want any help because she "has to" do it alone. But later learns that she cant do everything alone." That all aplies so much to me. Blaze is more than capable, very responsible, dedicated and unlike some others, always wants to do what's right and best for her people. She is just very stubborn and wants to do it alone. Just like me. At least the doing things alone part.
I've been and still am in her shoes but do not want this role. Nor is this who I really am and want to be. How many times did I try to break out of that role only to be forced back into it ? I cant help but always wonder if Blaze really wants to be a princes ? She reminds me so much of Twilight from MLP and Elsa from Frozen.
Everything in this video is just so true. Life keeps changing. Now that I aint alone anymore like I always used to (even though I still feel alone and lonely for the first time) I really have to learn to come out of my shell too (even if forced and the things others want for me/ me to do only push me back and hurt me more) Like Blaze (and Whisper) I am learning to accept help, because yes, we cant do everything alone. "It's all she ever knew." And to trust people.
It's really hard when you've been alone all your life and you've only met terrible people who ment only harm so far. I've always been shy/introverted due to always being left alone (and many bad experiences) and everybody still sees that as sth "bad and wrong" they "have to cure". I could (not can ! Could !) normally talk and even trust people despite my shyness. But nowaways, now that I am adult, I am always anxious around all the strangers I deal with daily, even around my new friends. It really makes life harder than it used to be and can be seen as a bad consequence of the isolation Blaze and I experienced, when your life all of sudden gets flipped upside down. (I havent seen your video about Knuckles yet but do wonder about him, since he spent all his life isolated on an island)
I try not to hide anymore and trust people. It's just... I've never been accepted for who i am and never really had friends before and dont want too close relationships because I always miss them deeply when I know I will never see them again. It's all a new side of me, of life, I never knew. Just like Blaze.
I try to "embrace" my new life - Heck, I kinda see myself as a "responsible princes who has to do the right thing" nowadays and dont rebel against it anymore but... Despite being a different person....despite having so much in common with Blaze. I am not responsible at all nor want to be serious and hide my true feelings 24/7.

See this as my own "analyses" and reasons why I relate to and love Blaze.
Once she opens up and lets people in, she is a very fun, nice, caring character. I always loved playing as her in the olympics, before i even knew about the Sonic games because I really like her sassy, confident side, her smile and enjoying herself. I even liked her in 06 and really wish to see her in future games again. Plus she also has the power of fire 🔥 I always loved fire.
And is the only female with a burning form.
No matter what game, no matter what team, whether team Rose, Sonic or Silver, having Blaze around is always a delight. "She brings a spark whereever she goes."
I really enjoy the thrill of the boost formula for sonic. I'd love if they kept sonic's levels fast and epic and gave the other characters things to do in these games again. I'd much rather have blaze or tails or knuckles or the chaotics even be filler rather then more classic sonic

I know people are confused by Blaze's origin being changed in Sonic 06, but I have a headcanon that could fix that continuity error. I think that even though Sonic Rush came out before Sonic 06, 06 happens first chronologically like a prequel of sorts. I believe that the dimension she sent herself to in 06 was the Sol Dimension, her arrival would cause that world's history to change itself to include her being there, thus rewriting her memories to match those changes as if she had always been in the Sol Dimension her whole life

My theory about Blaze's inclusion in 06: She somehow got into Sonic's dimension again, but instead of appearing in Sonic's time, she appeares in Silver's. At the end of Silver's story, she's actually asking him to send her back to the Sol dimension.
Blaze is definitely my favorite female character in the Sonic franchise. I love her almost as much as Silver!
Fun fact: Silvaze is the only Sonic couple that i truely ship & support to the fullest. (With MAYBE the exception of Sonally, but that's another story altogether).

I’m confused about Silver and Blaze’s relationship. I mean, they’re normally depicted as best friends, sure, but Sonic 06 never happened. That could mean that Silver and Blaze were just friends in their time for a while, but would they even have met if Solaris didn’t exist? If yes, then I would think that Blaze would still have her dimension to look after, Sol emeralds to collect. If no, then Silver and Blaze wouldn’t know each other. However I’m guessing it’s yes. It’s unclear WHY Blaze keeps dimension hopping, probably to collect Sol emeralds, but why do those things go missing all the time? Blaze is a complicated character, and we don’t really know what Silver does with his time.
It’s something indcredible, how Silver and Blaze share such a close bond despite being from a different space, and another, from a diffeeent time. I know Sonic is the main character, his name is on the cover. But, I can’t help but want a spin off featuring Blaze and/Silver as playable characters. After all, there’s still so much we don’t know about their Silver’s future and Blaze’s dimension. There’s some story potential there. We could get an incredible potential storyline, where Sonic is missing or defeated, only for Blaze and Silver, being able to traverse time and space, to track down the villain responsible: a future evil Sage gone astray under the manipulation of Eggman Nega. Nega has a more destructive goal than his ancestor Ivo. If Sage wanted to destroy the world after going rogue, it’d make sense Nega would take advantage. Idk, just spitballing, any story focusing on Silver or Blaze would be great. Shadow on the other hand, tends to get just enough screen time.
Its kinda neat Blaze is the only Sonic Character in the Colors Era who is not flanderized or ruined. Of course I'll still love all the characters in Sonic the Hedgehog no matter what. Plus I love how relatable Blaze is especially since she's introverted because of her flames, but she learns to work with others.😁😺💜🔥
Well that’s mostly because she isn’t anywhere to be seen.
Blaze is my all time favourite sonic character. Her design as a kid is what made me go I want sonic rush. Like it's funny I started on sonic adventure 2 but I liked knuckles on the gamecube and console, but I did a lot 2P and my other massive favourites are metal sonic and chaos, that what loved about sa2.
But as soon blaze debuted and booted eggman flying I was just like.
Wow that's the first charcter to not let eggman get away lightly, she made the boss fights the best thing in rush.
Over the years I never played many sonic games only the ones where knuckles, Blaze or metal sonic or chaos was a choice.
In rivals I played a lot with metal sonic, in riders gravity the moment blaze was unlocked it was go time.
Hell forces, generations and sa2 I modded in blaze.
I have a blaze plush.
TSR I pretty much play blaze exclusively, did 90% of the story mode with her , did the first part with knuckles, then went on too big and Amy and then when blaze was unlocked I purely played as blaze.
I even own a blaze plush.
In my opinion I would be far more exicted if sega said they where doing a blaze the cat game and sonic was taking a small break. I would pay top money for hours of blaze content.
Still her sa2 is on my favourites.

I wondered if there were two Blazes..... one from the other dimension and one in the future. And now thinking about it more, could the other dimension actually be lightyears ahead of the main Sonic world? Like, that timeline happened first so basically the alt-world's present is a mirror to main-world's future.... BUT, the outcome was different.... Blaze-world present (or future that is concurrent with Sonic present) is the sea-world (yay for Shamu) while Sonic's future is a dystopia... or whatever happens regarding the time alternations and such.....
If there is ever a sonic adventure 3, I hope that Blaze is represented as a main character

The answer for Super Amy not being a thing is the fact that according to Ian Flinn, Former head writer of the IDW Sonic comics, Sega stated in their mandates to IDW and other writers... "Male Hedgehogs are the only ones that can claim a super form." ... Jeez, Amy turning super for Sonic after he is captured would be poetic. The former damsel in distress saves her Hero, but alas, we can dream.
