Honestly, I never would have known those very early photos were of her. She looks completely different!
I don't think so... You can still tell it's her. The only thing that _really_ looks different is the eyes, but the "wide-eyed" look was more in fashion during her early modeling days in the 80s, and it wasn't really until the 90s and 2000s that the "fierce," squinty look became more of a thing. I think her eyes are actually the same shape, but they're just a bit more narrow later on. It's possible she's always had eyes kind of like that (they've definitely ALWAYS been hooded and more almond shaped), but that she just opened them wider in her early modeling days, because that was the fashion back then. Idk, I don't think she actually looks like a different person. She's older and doesn't have the baby fat in her face anymore, but apart from that, even though her nose and eyes are almost certainly altered, I think they're still in line with her natural features... At least from what I can tell. Idk lol😂

I'm not sure if it's from Botox, but the only thing I wish was that her eyes were bigger/more doe-eyed like her before picture. A lot of people are slanting their eyes up more, which is crazy new trend too. She's still pretty at least. The changes are quite different though.
I'm not a fan of the Trumpets but most of us do not look like our 20yo selves when we are 50.

I think it looked amazing in the late 90s- that photo of her in 1998 is stunning. I think it only started to look bizarre once coupled with all the mid-face implants...something uncanny about barely any part of your middle face having movement but your eyes are permanently "smizing" lol. That said, I do think she's still an especially pretty woman, even with the excessive and obvious work she's had done. I prefer her look more recently where she's allowing things to soften and look more natural.
I think she was going for he Alien lizard look and it's not appealing at all. Way too strange!
When she’s comparing the pictures, they’re not even you know using the same angle and one is like more centered on the right and then the other pictures more like she’s looking down you know and it’s like to the side more and at first was saying that her eyes originally was long and then she said when she was younger, her eyes was like more round and smaller, but she said that from the very beginning, her eyes were longer. That’s what makes her eyes so you need and you know she was able to age into that and her eyes look exotic or whatever all in shaped, but she already had that at the beginning but she just define it with the make up she had and she possibly might have had like a tattoo eyebrows so that’s what it looks different cause way back then then eyebrows were in and she might have like shave or just likethicker eyebrows because it was trendy back then doesn’t mean that she had an eyebrow lift
She just puts eyeliner on her waterline. That makes them look narrow and elongated. Without the waterline liner, her eyes would look rounder.

Really? I think it looks pretty natural, because I've seen many people of ordinary means who have similar noses. It's quite a common nose, I think. Gives me Southern vibes.
Edit to clarify: I'm talking about the first nose job, before the columella is shaved. The hang to the columella is what made it look natural IMHO.

I really appreciate you pointing out how she is someone who took some time to grow into her looks and got more beautiful as she aged. I don't think it's acknowledged enough that there are many women who don't look their best until they've reached their 40s, 50s and older!

Yes! She still had some baby fat in her cheeks during her teens/early 20's that hid her cheekbones a bit, but she's always had incredible bone structure. She didn't need the cheekbone implants, imo.
Absolutely true! My mum was always stunning but she never had any work done and definitely got better and better after the age of 45/50. I think self confidence and knowing what suits you definitely helps too.
I disagree with Melania being example for this process. She definitely ruined her natural beauty and morphed into totally different appearance, with the help of plastic surgery.
I'm one of those women. If you were to see pictures of me and my teens and early twenties I was not that cute. But as I aged my features became more attractive. I actually like how I look now and I've had no surgery

Yes, quite a bit of surgery that was probably encouraged by some of the modeling agencies. This was typical years ago and still now. Definitely nose surgery, upper face pulling the eyes, some lip filler, etc

She does look amazing for her age but sadly does not look her ethnicity anymore. I am from former Yugoslavian country and when I heard in the past that Melania is Slovenian I could not connect the dots. Until I saw her younger photo, it all clicked!
She used to look similar to all the other beautiful girls in ex Yugoslavia, She looked so much like her etnicity in youth but does not anymore. Change of the nose, eyes and cheekbones removed those features that made her look so Slovenian.

I can respect that she does her own thing. It doesn’t seem like she is desperately chasing trends, trying to stay relevant or younger than her years. It’s nice to see Melania seeming to embrace some natural signs of aging as she gets older instead of amping up the procedures.

The reason there aren't a lot of photos of Melania from her 'modelling days' is because she wasn't doing a lot of modelling. Contrary to Trump's absurd claim that 'she was a supermodel' it's doubtful she was able to support herself as a working model.
In my opinion, she completely changed her appearance with the help of plastic surgery. Here I do not agree with Lorry, she was orders of magnitude prettier as a teenager and young woman, she had typical 90s beauty look. Now she looks so overdone with plastic surgery than I cannot even call her pretty anymore.

Botox can increase facial fat when muscles aren't in use so it's up to the individual to decide what works for them
If you don't want to go back to that, just don't get any Botox or filler. That's my philosophy. No need to go overboard with something that isn't necessary in the first place.

Dont forget her heritage. You can especially see it in the 'russian-look' photo (black cossack-style hat) She looks like them well at least the cheekbones do. I have a Russian gf that looks similar to Melania. Those cheekbones are a dead give away what part of the world she is from.
She was cute in her teens. I wouldn't say that she stunning, but she was definitely lovely.
This woman’s style is so underrated. That Ralph Lauren powder blue suit at the inauguration was perfection and I so loved her caftan on the day they left Washington.
She does have an overall elegant and classic style that suits her well

I think her eye makeup isn’t helping. Applying black to the waterline makes eyes look dramatic, but downside is they look smaller.
I hope you’ll also do analyses of Ivanka Trump and Kimberly Guilfoyle, both of whom underwent dramatic transformations.

Melania reminds me of the saying “a beautiful woman in the US is a young woman, a beautiful woman in Europe is a beautiful woman”. Meaning she has really grown into her looks and looks even better as she has aged, yes I know she had work done but still she looks more stunning the older she gets. Also her stylists give her incredibly flattering makeup, hair and clothes

I don't know anything about Catherine, but when my father battled colon cancer for 2 years, he came back as stronger and younger than before. He is going to be 65 soon but still looks like he is in his 40s. He is much active than before. Maybe new cell regeneration or maybe living his life to fullest.

It’s looks like she’s been taking steroids. When you have chemo they give you steroids to help them work. I recognised it right away.
I thought she looked like the recent video was very filtered. I noticed it looks like she hasn't had her forehead botoxed in a while. Her forehead lines are slightly back. I do wonder if she has had some filler over the years.

The squinty look started when she had her first under eye lift. That was when she was quite young. Maybe with her first nose job. Maybe the first one was indeed part of the first mid facelift, but whatever, she has had several under eye lifts.

I don't know if everyone else noticed but the picture of her parents, when they are older, shows that her eyes match her parents eyes which have narrowed over the years.
I agree with you and disagree that she went out and had a lateral canthoplasty at such a young age and not connected to another procedure such as a lower bleph. If you look at the photo of her as a child standing with a group of young girls you can see her natural eye shape is slanted as she smiles a big smile. Her eye shape is consistent with her slavic ancestry.

I don’t know anyone who had a mid facelift that got squinty eyes. I think her eyes looked better before they were-so squinty. She looked softer before. She is still gorgeous.
The lower eyes are included in the midface so just give it time

I didn't get squinty eyes from mine, and the possibility of that result was not in the pre-op fine print that I signed either.
I think someone told her that squinty eyes look better when she was a young model. She squinted so much it is now permanent.
My Gran used to say, Careful, the wind might change and that look may stay forever" when we made faces as kids.

I’m not arguing at all that it can be a genetic trait, I agree with you. However, someone’s ears being/looking connected later in life when they originally were not, can be the hallmark of a facelift/plastic surgery that wasn’t done so well. I think that is what Lorry was referring to when speaking of a “pixie ear”.
Pixie ear refers to the ear looking like / at the joint not the level of connection, it might be a genetic trait but if so it’s a very uncommon one, it’s not referring to being a horizontal connection like - or unconnected which is when it goes down like \ and then up again after the lobe

It's unfortunate that they don't always post her best photos. And that seems intentional. When you see her live and in person or even live on the screen, she is absolutely gorgeous! Some of these photos look like they're meant to intentionally shame her.

I am half Slovenian. The eye shape is very Eastern European as my sister possesses this trait and I do not. As my sister ages her eyes get more squinty. I believe she tries maintaining this eye shape in her older years. However I do believe in most of what you said as to be true. She is striking. I think she was born with intense features and ratcheted them up to 11 with PS and styling. Like, her vibrant cool-toned eyes contrasted with warm peachy-copper skin and hair is intense. Then she had PS to make her eyes upturned and narrower, and uses heavy eye makeup. EXTREMELY intense!

Slavic bones. My mom is 74 and looks incredible. Her skin has less elasticity, but the underlying bone structure is lovely and holds everything up. I have some of it, but not as good as my mom.

She looks compketely different. Her surgeries did make her look more beautiful. She would have aged in a pretty way, but not like with surgeries.
It's actually so nice to see a celebrity who shows even some semblance of "normal aging"... Obviously she's had plenty of work done but it doesn't feel like she is trying to look 25. She doesn't seem afraid of aging the way most celebrities are and it's refreshing.
Why would you say she's a natural blonde? Her hair as a child was dark. It would be very unusual to become blonder in adulthood. I thought medium brown hair suited her best, though her natural skin tone would have worked better with it.

My face significantly changed in my mid 30s and this seems to be common for women. Diminishing estrogen? I had had a chubby face like Melania's and it leaned out to expose my great cheekbones, a total surprise! As for her squinty eyes, if you watch her interview on CNN with Larry King ("Donald and Melania Trump as newlyweds") her eyes are huge. Then when she did an interview with Sean Hannity ("Exclusive Interview: Melania Trump sits down with Hannity") you can see her big blue eyes. I think when she is with people she trusts, she relaxes. Being married to Trump she gets attacked so is self protective and I can't blame her.

That said, I think that she has had WAY MORE done than you indicated.
Her early pictures of her in late teens/ early 20's do NOT show a "younger version" of what we see today.
We see an entirely DIFFERENT face (Think her lips were done, chin implant and bone shaving.)
Now, unless she is forcing a smile, she looks angry and stern.
Not particularly attractive, nor anyone that someone would want to take a picture of to their surgeon and say "Please make me look more like this!".
Thank you to Lorry for being kind. I think she is beautiful and I love and appreciate that she is alowing some aging. I am so glad I dont have great wealth because I definitely would have over done it. I love her style too.
