God it annoys me that celebrities flat out lie about surgery. It’s their choice on whether to go public with it, but saying nothing is an option. The blatant lying is just so damaging
If she’s really so passionate about her privacy, then when asked, I wish she would at least say something like “that’s really none of your business. I’m not going to answer because I shouldn’t have to talk about personal medical information and neither should anyone else. Let’s stop asking people that.” It would be very possible for her to shut down the conversation without flat out lying and destroying both her integrity and the self esteem of young girls who look up to her.

@@kiyokochanable I think your comment is a bit silly really, to suggest that I have no life when I’m watching the same video you have ☠️ but anyway, my point is that I don’t really care what anyone does to their bodies, I’m not against surgery at all actually. But I do personally think that when someone is in the public eye and flat out lying, that it gives impressionable/ possibly insecure people an unattainable standard that they compare themselves to. To be clear, I’m not referring to myself here because I am quite happy as I am, but I don’t think anyone can deny that so many people do compare themselves and when they can’t achieve the impossible without surgery, they get into a cycle of never feeling good enough. So in MY opinion, I feel that celebrities who are in the public eye should either just keep quiet about their work and not comment if they don’t want to discuss it, or be open and honest, but I feel that lying is irresponsible.
@@saram3156 invasion of privacy comes with the territory of celebrity. Celebs who are extremely private can avoid it, but most of these celebrities love attention and posting their lives online. I think the reason they get defensive when being asked about procedures is simply their massive egos.
The average person can look at Kate and other celebrities and easily tell they have had plastic surgery. So the public is not really behind the drive to ask these questions... its not that they are curious about it, they already know.
A lot of these celebrities seem to go out of their way to bring up the subject to try to prove they have had nothing done. They need to get over themselves. It's so freaking obvious. I agree with the poster that they can just say NOTHING! or if asked, say, none of anyone's business thanks.

And they don't understand how many sees through their lies, but also there are people who don't know a thing about plastic surgery and believes them. She’s partly doing so because of the really brutal way Doja Cat attacked her and the problems that has caused. She made a video about it recently called something like “the truth about my new content,” it explained a lot of Lorri’s current situation in light of the Doja thing. I would definitely give it a watch, it was really helpful

Yes, Lorry made a video speculating on the cosmetic procedures Doja Cat had done. As per the norm, the video included the usual disclosures that these are only Lorry’s opinions, she has no proof of any work done, etc.
Nevertheless, Doja was outraged: not only did she deny having any of the work done, but she also threatened to take legal action. Though she’d done nothing wrong, Lorry removed the video: as she repeatedly says, it’s not her intention to shame any celebrity.

Because public opinion is wildly fickle. I've seen a whiplash on plastic surgery over the last 10 years. First it was "cosmetic procedures bad", then five years ago it was "cosmetic enhancement is okay", and now I'm seeing a huge uptick in condemning people for normalizing plastic surgery, as well fear mongering about the risks and side effects for things as innocuous as baby botox and tretinoin.
Because they want everyone to envy their "special-ness" that they are the one among the many millions lucky chosen one, to have this natural beauty, that others do not get to be born with and unfortunately have to resort to help from procedures to be as gorgeous as them.
Because their ego don't wanna admit they were too insecure to accept themselves as they are and that they have low self-esteem. They wanna be portrayed as strong and perfect people
YES!!! I've been waiting for this one for YEARS! I remember her from Brokedown Palace (horrible story that I still remember to this day, and wish I could unsee). She went from "so completely average" to "so totally glam and gorgeous". And good for her. I just wish she wouldn't deny plastic surgery when it's so obvious.

I see where you're coming from overall, but in my opinion, Kate was way above "average" in Brokedown Palace. She was beautiful in a realistic way, like, the prettiest girl in your class, as opposed to the most beautiful woman in your country, but still a very beautiful young woman early in her career IMO.

Michael Bay was wrong. Kate is pretty but in an elegant, way. Like Kiera Knightley & Emma Watson. I agree that this look is less intimidating to women.
Bay seems to prefer the bombshell look. Like Megan Fox. That look does have a more sexy, steal your man vibe to it.
Both are pretty but they are different. There is an instant wow factor to the bombshell.
However, the elegant look doesn't have that wow to it but matures better and can be lifelong.

She always had an absolutely phenomenal body. I suspect she's probably on hormone replacement therapy at this age which is helping her to maintain that leanness and the muscle. And maybe some lipo here and there on trouble areas like the tummy if she ever developed it like us peasants😢😅

They don’t need tretinoin. Korean rarely use tretinoin, maybe a small percentage of retinol only. They go to dermatologist often (every few month) to have laser, botox since it’s cheap there and that keeps them looking young. Same for celebrity.
I'm telling all my friends to start incorporating retinoids. I will literally buy their first bottle. We need to spread the word!

She is a chain smoker, that's not good skincare. She's had a lot of work done, but it's good work.
I don't even want to hear about her skincare routine when that's not the issue. If you have had all of that work and mainly the facelift, then that's what makes you look 30 at 50 and no skincare regimen in the world is going to do that.

I remember being as young as around 8-9 years old when I first watched Pearl Harbor, and even then, I knew Kate had to be one of the most beautiful women I will ever see in my whole life! I thought she was so incredibly pretty. To find out that she was told otherwise is so shocking!
Kate is just so interesting to watch. She has a glow to her that has always captured my attention. I haven’t even see many of her movies, but her Instagram posts made many of us giggle during pandemic restrictions. She seems very transparent and sometimes stands up to trolls. Whatever she does works! I’m obviously more prone to believe what I can see with my eyes, so I think the work and expertise of her look is stunning and cleverly done. She seems exceptionally intelligent and disciplined.

If non celebrities are having plastic surgery and skin maintenance all over the world especially past 35 with face lifts becoming preventative protocol, the more pressure celebrities are getting from their managers and marketing people to maintain a youthful vibrant look. Until I started watching your content, I had no clue what could be achieved with cosmetic procedures, and I'm amazed by what an art form it can be. I've spent much of my life nitpicking imperfections in my face, jealous that celebrities were born so flawless, but now I see how much work actually goes into "perfection." I really love that you point out the beauty in both natural and curated features! I wish cosmetic procedures weren't such a dirty secret. Thank you for the work you do to de-mystify it!

I’ve always thought she was so incredibly beautiful. When I originally seen her on screen I knew nothing about what people in Hollywood do to themselves. Looking back I wish I had known, I probably wouldn’t have been so mean to myself. I’m 45 now and I remember hating myself deeply because I felt I wasn’t skinny or pretty enough. I had no idea what I was comparing myself to wasn’t natural.

I personally thought it was pretty obvious she has had stuff done but when she came out and said she didn’t I really wanted to believe her - because I grew up watching her (I too watched Broken Palace!!). But just like Kate I’m getting older and when I look at her I wonder how she hasn’t aged like me - and that’s my disrespect for women like Kate who deny surgery. They’re making people think they were born like this when they obviously weren’t. Especially when you look at the before photos. Can you do selena gomez again , she most likely had more plastic surgery in the last years. From what i could see brow lift and swaped her breast implants a couple of times
Absolutely, and I think the middle part of her nose is shaved down, and cheekbone implant/filler is also very obvious. If you search for pictures around 2016 and compare to now, you can see the obvious difference. For people saying it's weight gain, it's not. You can't gain weight and suddenly have very prominent cheekbones. Tip: search for photo from 2016-17 where she laughs/smiles, and notice the shadowing of the middle bone part of her nose, and than look at her recent photos; you can't see the shadowing anymore. It's shaved down subtly.. and the cheekbone before and after is also very obvious. And than there is the thread lift or something, cause her face looks like its pulled to the sides or something..

Kate has always been stunning and after watching this analysis I think she should be commended for her approach to cosmetic procedures because she chose the right ones for her and clearly did her research. I wish celebrities would admit their procedures, because it would help us mere mortals feel less pressure to keep up, but I understand why she doesn’t. Her career is so cut throat that until the culture changes, perhaps by someone with even higher status admitting their work, it’s just not smart to be open. She’s absolutely gorgeous and has made such smart choices with her procedures. Great video!
