While Monika had nice material and also embodied it to the completion with her own personal appeal, that's right. And still, it such a beauty, that guys who deserve the most of common support do actually win by large margin! Very happy ending.

I don't speak a lick of Lithuanian (unfortunately) and I still think the song sounded absolutely beautiful. Perhaps it's Monika's talent, but the lyrics flowed so smoothly and elegantly and they sounded perfect.

Generally the hosts come across a bit angry/stern (understandably so as there’s a time/question limit per participant and they have to be the one to remind them etc) but I just wanna say that it was really fun to see someone giggling along and seem a bit more relaxed :)

You're not required to love all the songs or performances, but harassing the artists is too much. You can really tell how deeply affected Marius was by the strong backlash against him before he ever took the stage. Everyone goes to Eurovision to do their best. A lot of us had at least one or two favorites not make it through last night, my heart broke for Slovenia, but I won't take that out on the artists that progressed to the finals.

@@coolandgood0062 the dude is not arrogant he is just a bit lost, he has to go through a lot of emotions and being abroad doesn't free people from being heartbroken by the events in their country. Also, he is not an English speaker so expressing your emotions is harder for English speaking audience is harder too. He might just be nervous to be in an unusual situation. It's also surreal to see other people laughing and being light hearted in the same room as you, when yo mind is constantly occupied with news and worries about how your country is being ruined and how there are countless atrocities. Not to say that life should stop for everyone as it did for Ukrainians, but please don't misjudge Oleh by the facial expressions or lack of emotions. It's really tough
