Back in 1981 I was in first grade and we had cable. Back then it was a black and silver box with a dial that went up to 60. Anyway I planned to fake being sick to stay home and watch this movie. I found out that on HBO it was on at 3:30am and I waited until my parents fell asleep, snuck upstairs and laid on the couch at 3 and waited until this came on. I watched this and it was my favorite show I had ever seen at that point. I stayed up all night into the morning and went to school. I remember being so tired but it was my fault and never did that again. But it was worth it because this show was so cool. I remember telling my friends about it and they had no idea what it was. I hadn't seen this show since then and forgot the name of it. I typed in stop motion racecar show and this came up on Google. CZcams is great it's been 38 years and there it is. I really liked the detail in the whole show. The care they took to make everything so detailed and just so cool looking. As a kid I loved that motor of the car and that turbo mechanism thing. I wish I could find this to buy to show to my kid.

    Sou uns genis!

I haven't seen this since I was about 5, I loved it as a kid and still do. But on a general point I can remember how it sounded in english when I was a kid, and I think that this version is different somehow. Maybe its because I watched it on VHS and now this is digital, but I think its more than that, this sounds re-vamped somehow. Still I guess I could be talking out my arse. Great film back then and still is, very entertaining.

"Awh, yes so....you shit and glow"?
Well, saw the original first movie in 1975 in Norway.
After coming home from the cinema, I remember grabbing my bike in a hurry, pedaling like crazy along the road. The car race scenes in the movie had made my brain into a speed maniac for a short time.
Saw it 3 times during the first 1 or 2 years.
The TV-sets most had at the time was black and white, so this movie was a special happening.
The characters in the movie is based on books by writer Kjell Aukrust, from Alvdal Norway.

Ludvig the hedgehog, his response to doing contract with the sheik, is "contract - its dangerous" (I have never seen the english version, just norwegian, but I guess the scene is there...).
    The hedgehog is right.
If kids and people could learn a lesson about contracts being dangerous, they will learn something thats more important that all the elementary school period.
Kids dont learn about economics in school. Most people dont know how money is made - from thin air, and what that does to their life. Think about it. Learn about it. Never forget this.

I recommend everybody to buy the Pinchcliffe game. It's the best game ever made, and it's funny for both children and grown-ups. I know they sell it in the Ivo Caprino webside, but I don't know anywhere else. I think it's especially rare, and you should buy it as soon as possible. I have bought it three times because I have lost the game a couple of time. I played it first when I was 7-9 years old, but I just but in some months ago at the age 16, and I still love it. Buy it! You will not regret!
