NYCEDC Announces Hornblower as NYC Ferry Operator

Following a competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) process, NYCEDC announced the procurement of a new NYC Ferry operating contract with Hornblower. The new agreement will deliver Improved ridership experiences, expanded accessibility features, increased transparency and oversight of the NYC Ferry system. These improvements will further Mayor Adams's Ferry Forward plan, announced in June 2022, to build a more equitable, accessible, and financially sustainable ferry system.
