@@lonecalzone6901 you wanna def bounce it at least once then it has tracking like a missile from Truth afterwards. easiest way to work with that exotic is to use a pulse rifle and dont forget you gotta re-proc the strengthened knife buff after every successful knife kill.
Y’know, Athrys’s is one of my favourite hunter exotics, yet I never considered running it without a consistent way to proc strengthened knife. Just using it for the better knives to aid in detonating scorch stacks… it’s genius
@@fishest7424 yep. The double bounce and enhanced tracking is just a permanent effect from the exotic. Just a tip if you're trying to use it - the knife's tracking is stupidly strong if its second bounce was off of a wall, so aim the first bounce off of the floor
Also Ember of Torches will give you knife back (probably) even if it isn't a headshot, as it should count the player as "a combatant killed while radiant" giving you your knife back instantly (at least, it does for me somehow)and using the thing that doing something with your melee makes you radiant aspect, ez free knives kills... I'm noob, I dunno if said is true or not Edit: Ember of Torches says "Damaging Combatants with a powered melee makes you radiant" and the aspect Knock em Down says "While radiant, final blows with your equipped throwing knife refund your melee energy"
I think one of the best part about Hyna's videos is that anyone can tell when someone is good at aiming in a fps, whereas here you can easily tell when someone has mastered the game.

Thats a Hunter Aspect, its the one that gives a boost to the supers (GG Deadshot grants bullets on precision kills, GG Marksman lasts longer, Blade Barrage grants more knives), while also adding the ability to refund charged melee energy after a charged melee kill. Note that you cant spam this ability like a monkey (like i did when first testing it), when you get your melee charge refund, you have to wait at least a couple seconds to reuse the knife, otherwise it wont recharge again, even if you killed something with it. Basically: Charged knife kill > refund charge > wait a sec > charged knife kill > refund charge. If you dont wait, you wont loop this.
I used to almost exclusively play bow or HC in Crucible (not at the same time) and recently took a break only to find out they both got nerfed in the new PvP meta. It killed my motivation to come back to Destiny 2 but seeing your clips really pulls me back in. I'll never be as good as you but seeing that it's possible to still succeed with the playstyle I like is the hope I needed to get back into it. Thanks for making this! this man is the third place contender for strongest guardians in crucible behind ikora and shaxx. hell even shaxx would have a hard time hitting a target this damn fast

The fact that weighted knife with this exotic does 160+ damage and can instantly reset while auto aiming from across the map and around corners is insane. ESPECIALLY when you see withering blade and it does 30 whole damage on a bounce and slows for like 2 seconds max. And hitting a bounce with it is fucking impossible.

Hey Hynra I cooked a new build with Ashen Wake. Pair it with Erianas Vow hit one headshot, boom fusion nade. Get whole fusion nade back rinse and repeat. Actually very fun. Only bad thing is Ashen Wake looks so bad lmaoo

There was a point in time i felt it's bounces were nerfed so i stopped using it, but with this latest buffs i might use it again for the lolz
