Everything is a belief system. Use what works. Use creams, serums, etc. within your realm of expectations. You have to eat properly to have good skin care. You can use the best skin care in the world, neck, cream, eye, cream, whatever cream, but if your diet is not on point your skin will never glow.

Thank you so much for this honesty Nadine! I am 57 and, honestly, although I always bring down my skincare on my neck (I need to pay more attention to my chest area though), I have really had to resign myself to the fact that there's gonna be some droop!! I won't have surgery, so I need to do what I can with skincare and to embrace reality. Adore your integrity and honesty. I'm turning 49 this June. Although I was lucky enough to have found an excellent dermatologist years ago (thanks to whom my skin is healthier now than in my early 30s), I neglected the neck and chest area. As of September last year I started the routine suggested in this video, step by step, just like you explained it. Still far from my desired goal, yet the results on my neck and chest are amazing when speaking in terms of 7,8 months. Of course, still doing my regular facials plus: Dermapan microneedling and mesotherapy. Helped immensely. Thank you for another myth busting ♥️

Thanks for posting this Nadine. From what I understand, our necks lack sebaceous glands so the face creams with more potentially irritating ingredients like acids or arbutin (Oridnary arbutin irritates my neck but not liquid gold!). Anyway I just use cerave cream it's got quite safe ingredients and ceramides. Basically, keeping it hydrated and moisturised is all that's necessary. And yes the exfoliation once a week but not too often due to my point above about not having sebaceous glands.

Marcy Brennan It's a very old saying that "nature's green is gold," meaning that youth is the most beautiful asset we can have. That said, I didn't reach my prettiest point until I was in my late 20s, but many women have told me that when they turned 30, men lost interest in them, like somebody flipped a switch. It isn't fair, but it's part of evolution - the young women are the most attractive because of their fertility. Men don't usually think of it that way, but the survival instinct of the species is in the DNA.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I so appreciate this. I have been struggling with what’s appropriate for me. While the reviews on neck cream and other creams are coming in well reviewed. I started asking around at cosmetic counters about this. I ran some numbers on the cost. You can save yourself about half of what you you would spend if you purchased the skin care line + neck cream. I even deduce that you are better off spending your money on the speciality items such as serum and oils. Just go with a basic moisturizer. I also know it’s about consistency. So I only do it at night when everything can soak sink in. And the employees at the counters said use the face mask, exfoliators, cleanse, etc on the neck and even chest. Thank you so much for sharing why not to spend the extra money? Plus put what’s left over on the back of the hand. Never thought to do that.

I so agree with the recommendation for Ameliorate on the neck and chest, I actually use it on my face in the evenings as an acid treatment. (it does say on their website suitable for use on the face) with great effect and it's the only acid product I have ever been able to tolerate. It has calmed down my rosacia and flakey parched skin.

Thankyou for an honest appraisal of neck creams. I've been going mad trying to educate myself as to which one to buy, and not spend a fortune. I really do not believe you have to spend $300,00 on a face/neck cream.
And I also love your delivery. Its so hard to discern who really uses a product or if they are just selling for a company.

A pea sized amount of Retin A mixed in with your moisturiser is the best neck and chest cream in my opinion !! Always take your skincare down to your neck, most people forget this.

Ive always thought getting anything done is to help that person’s confidence n make themselves feel better. So I’ve always been supportive. I really hope this helps allot of women who are concerned on this area. 😊

I started with tiny bits of filler at 35, only in my cheeks and lips. I never have more than 1ml at a time, split between my cheeks and never more than 0.55ml in my lips and I've preserved what I have always looked like. I've used retinol and peptides since I was 30 (though I loved lotions and potions in my 20s), wear SPF every day. I never sunbath for more than 15 mins a day on holiday (for vitamin D) and then have a white sarong over my face and chest, wear over spf30 and very high UVA protection, also a hat, stay in the shade. I turn 40 next year and will get a white umbrella. I still have lots of fun, but I keep in mind that I do want to look good forever and I don't think there is anything wrong with it. I am a child at heart and want my outside to match my inside as much as possible. 😍

I think Caroline Hirons in her latest video advises against putting retinol and their adjacent products onto the neck. There simply are not the oil glands in the neck to sustain this.

Poor posture is another contributing factor of sagging jawline, especially now days with everyone staring at electronic devices with their faces turned down, reading books or documents with the face downwards. Women who have heavy breasts are also more inclined to having sagging around the jawline. Repetitive movements and poor posture unfortunately will negatively impact the jawline, so pay attention as well as using good skincare consistently and eating nutritious, wholesome foods, lots of water too.

Fantastic video Nadine👏🏻 I used RetinA 0.025 on my face neck an chest for one year. I also use Timeless Vit C, Coenzyme Q10 an Matryxl Synthe 6 which I started 6mths before. I don't noice much difference in the deep wrinkles my face, however, my chest is looking amazing to what it was👏🏻 My chest wrinkles were not nearly as deep as my face though 🙄😭😂 I've just started 0.05 RetinA 2 weeks ago, every 2nd night an so far no bad reaction👍🏻 As well as putting all my skincare right down my chest I also brush my teeth before I do anything, in case I dribble toothpaste down my chin, which would then remove the skincare😜😂 Lovin your honesty too👏🏻😘 xx

Hi Nadine I have used Estée Lauder from being a teenager first with skin care taken by my mum to the department store ,then onto makeup as a young nurse , but now I am a mature woman I wish I could say thank you to my mum as she lay the foundations for me , so I have been brand loyal using all Estée night repair products and of course they stunning makeup however with all the will in the world your body collapses as you age nothing in the world only plastic surgery will treat not stop ! I am very happy in my skin I enjoy looking after it and I am afraid unless you earn mega bucks your stuck with it but treat it as your best friend and cherish as you would your partner . And stay happy smile you are you embrace it . Regards to all Liz

Great comment! I agree that unless you're very wealthy and plan on plastic surgery, starting a good skincare routine early is the way to go. French women have beautiful skin because they take care of it from a young age and rarely resort to surgery. They embrace their natural beauty wrinkles and all!

I'm on my early 50s and never took care of my chest area when I was young so you could definitely tell!! My skin was horrible and nothing helped until I found Gold Bond Neck & Chest cream on sale. I used about 2-3 bottles and the wrinkles were basically gone. Now I use regular skin products on it and it maintains it well. But sometimes you just need to see quicker results, and I can definitely recommend the GB.

Works for me and I also use Strivectine neck tightening neck creams. Takes a couple of weeks but you will see a difference. I am 74 yrs old so takes a little more time. Also too much sugar can create a sagging jawline

I agree on the gold bond cream. The most rapid and visible change was on my chest. I had been developing a crease from side sleeping and after less than week that went away. I’ve never had the courage to put it on my face wrinkles (between my brows is the most prominent) because my face is very sensitive and seems to get dry, red or blemishes if I put any cream based products on it.

  • @raeperonneau4941

The skin on my neck and chest is sooooo much more sensitive than the skin on my face. I once used an acid peel on my chest, that I've used on my face for years, and I have a scar to show for it. Be very careful.

Thank you for the honest assessment of neck creams, and I agree, the neck and dec are the same as the face. You've saved me $300 for an unnecessary La Mer neck and dec cream. I use La Mer Lifting and Firming Cream with great results, I'm going to use it on my neck and jaw line beginning tonight.
