Thanks, Cory! Great overview that really brings to life the massive presence of these absolute beasts. Looking forward to the next video when you’ve got a pair in for demo.
Thanks for watching! There will for sure be a few more videos on these once they are in hand. Think he's going to do a full review and he's going to send Trey and I a pair to test out.
-Jason
Excellent job! This is truly an exciting speaker
Thanks for watching! It really is amazing. Blows you away.
-Jason
Awesome job Cory- really enjoyed the video!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!
Cory, you have to be the most passionate advocate for the house PWK built - keep doing these videos. It's so good.
I try. :) -- Cory
Wow! That's a truly big horn! Now all I need is a Ballroom to put them in. Great Job!
We can help with the speakers, just let us know when your ballroom is ready! ;)

Cory is awesome!! Paducah Home Theater is the most knowledgeable, best service high end audio dealer period!! I'm so glad to see him grow to the point of working with the guys at Klipsch directly!!
Thanks for the support! Cory has been following Roy around for years picking up every bit of knowledge he possibly can. He really wants to provide that next level experience for his customers.

One of the best explanations I have seen on the Jubilee's. Great video.
thanks. It's been so long that I forgot what I said but thanks. ;)
Bloody Awesome… I’m so blown away yet proud.
Thanks for watching!
That’s sweet man! Awesome seeing how far you’ve come!
thanks man. -- Cory
Oswald Mills Audio out of PA does a pretty nice job of making horns look amazing.
Well they certainly make a statement! Hope I get to hear a pair one day.
They certainly do not disappoint. Pretty amazing.

Great stuff here. Jubes for the win!
Cory, please don't feel nervous when you do these videos. You're simply talking to a friend, telling me about the new speakers!

Fine presentation man. Very cool
Thanks for watching!
I heard these the other day at my local dealer and was absolutely blown away by them!!! These are now one of my favorite speakers on the planet, regardless of price.
Where can they be heard? Thanks.
Thanks for watching! PHT showroom has a set for those looking to hear in person.
-Jason
They make my K-horns look like ear buds. I came into high end audio back in '75 with a pair of kc-br .I think my last speakers will be a pair of these. My 85 year old mother has my original Klipschorns with a MX-110 and a 240 power amp. She uses them every day. Last week I visited her and she was playing Beethoven's 9th at live levels you could hear it 1/4 mile away. She lives on a hill overlooking Belleview Country Club.
That's awesome! Happy shes still enjoying them. Last speakers because nothing will be able to replace them/nothing else will hold up once you hear em. Let us know when you're ready to pull the trigger and we'd be happy to assist.
You may be "just a simple country boy," but nobody demonstrates more love and knowledge of the Klipsch Heritage Series Jubilee than the folks at Paducah Home Theater! What a pleasure to hear your thoughts on the "above ground" Jubilee.
Thanks for watching! I (Jason) agree with you completely. There are certainly not many people (a handful at most) that know more about or have followed the Jubilee as closely as Cory has. When it comes time to discuss these guys, he's the best man for the job!
-Jason
OMG...AWESOME...THE BEAST WALKS AND BREATHES.....OMG.
Thanks for watching. It is a monster indeed. Amazing to hear in person.
-Jason
If I could afford them I would have them. Awesome speakers.
Would love to hear these with some good recordings. I love that the envelope is being pushed with this 2 way design. Also, speaking of subs and best of the best I wish Klipsch would really make something high end in regards to subs to pair with my RF-7's.... I remember rumors of something being in the works but haven't seen anything.
They sound amazing. Roy personally set them up and staged them and the experience was like no other. As for the rumored sub, only time will tell. Only Klipsch knows.
-Jason
Heard these at Axpona 2022. Was like being at the concert!
For sure! They will blow you away!
-Jason
8:47 "These are flat down to 18hz." Wow! I choked on my coffee when I heard that. Holy smokes!
They really did some amazing things here. Roy's a beast. :)
-Jason
Jtr goes to 18 too and is way cheaper
I bet the new Mcintosh MA 12000 tube Integrated and would be the perfect match for these Jubilees !
Havent tinkered with it but the thing looks like a beast. I can imagine they would pair well.
I wonder if the electronic crossover has that electronic sheen like I heard on so many. For some reason my ears have developed a sensitivity to such added artifact.
What a awesome presentation of these speakers....Flat to 18 I said WHAT!!!Perked me right up... Give us more!!! Personally. have. 1980 K Horns with Quick silver mono 90s pushing them..what is their efficeney???
Thanks for watching! More on the Jubs as time goes on. I listened to them after Roy set em up and perfected them for this room though and...man...they were insane.
-Jason
Am sitting here drooling over these! I have 4 Khorns now and wife is like no way, no room! Am like we will build a new house around the speakers! Problem solved!
Do it! If you're drooling watching the video...you should hear em!
-Jason
Thanks for the coverage.
If you’re gesticulating frequency charts (or timelines) with your hands you’ll have to reverse your usual shape - otherwise they’re completely the wrong way around for your viewers.
So I see that the active crossover / DSP is supplied. What amp setup is recommended?
DSP is provided, yes, but you aren't required to use a specific amp for these. With the way the DSP is designed, it opens you up more to a ton of different options to customize your setup. I do want to emphasize though, that you will for sure want something super clean.
All of that said, with the underground versions, we would typically recommend pairing with the Cyrus Stereo 200. It's an awesome unit and I'm sure we will see these go hand in hand with the new versions as well.
-Jason
Although I have not read this, I know the original professional Jubilee was only flat to around 45 Hz, so I am strongly suspecting the electronic crossover has equalization to bring the cutoff down to 18 Hz.
It's a combination of several different technologies that bring it down that low. Check out Klipsch's video where Roy discusses its creation and technology if you havent already. It's an awesome watch!
-Jason
Midnight in Harlem is one of my favs
On every testing playlist. :)
-Jason
That is ridiculous. I want one. Well, two actually.
Five! lol. -- Cory
Based on your discussions with Roy what would you say would be the ideal space for these? W/D/H. As well as spacing from the rear and side walls. The perfect room you might say...
I can ask but I'm not sure there is one. Everybody is afraid of smaller rooms but Roy always says the smaller the room, the bigger the horn. Jubilees are funny with the back wall because the bass is more directional. When you sit near the back wall in a small room the bass can be bloated when it shouldn't be plus with Jubilees you can get cancellation in the upper bass depending on the frequency, bass can bounce off the back wall and combine with the waves coming directly out of the bass bin more than typical speakers. Ideally you'd run a sweep with REW / UMIK-1 and see what you're dealing with. -- Cory
Great first look!
Glad you liked it!! Thanks for watching!
-Jason
W A N T !
I believe they are in stock right now! give us a call.
-Jason
Will there be a model step down same as this but smaller scale & more room friendly for around $25K. We own electrostatic speakers & there is no crossover like no crossover ☺️There is always a step down after a flagship is released & generally it is the sweet spot best bang for the buck model; hope it happens.
Hey man I just got a new soundbar thats amazing..... hold my beer.
Sounds about right! haha
-Jason
🤣
From what I heard about the Celestion Axi2050, it could cover the 300-20000 Hz band on its own. If the bass only goes up to 300Hz, the directivity of a loudspeaker being so difficult to identify by ear, it does not seem essential to me to put a delay on the horn. Don't you think so too?
I'm not an engineer by any means so my understanding isn't as technical as it could be at all. If you consider the route the LF has to take to exit the cabinet through the folded horn though, I believe this is where the delay comes into play. The horn is firing directly at your face where the LF has to take the longer route to exit. With what you're saying, it could be that it would sound decent without the advanced DSP with the less directivity of lower frequencies...but the goal wasn't to make a decent sounding speaker...I really believe the goal here was perfection. As such, the DSP seems like the only way to go....and when it comes with the system...no real reason to look elsewhere.
-Jason
Extremely awesome video ❤
Is Roy in the audience 🤔
Thanks for watching! Roy was around. Popped in and out from time to time. He's the one that actually set this pair/stage up. :)
-Jason
@@TopShelfAudio he's one cool cat.
Wowzers!! Out of curiosity, are you they going to release an all Black version?
Thanks for watching! I believe as of right now there will be a walnut and a black. Other options may become available in the future but, this is all the info we have so far.
-Jason
I'm just not quite sure where to put these. Do you think they could work on a desk?
Yes! If, of course, you have a very strong desk...that said, I doubt they'd sound their best. ;)
-Jason
Cory, which live version of Midnight In Harlem do you use?
also, distortion certainly seems more damaging to your ears, but I guess what you're saying makes sense. crappy old sound systems cranked up will destroy your ears, even at moderate levels. I wish I could get back what I lost. maybe there's a way. here's hoping.
I use the one on Revelator, I was just comparing the sound of the guitar to how he sounds live. I couldn't think of the word at the time but guitarists call it "bite", they say his tone has a lot of bite to it. This easily stands out when you hear it live. Doesn't sound the same at all when you put it into a typical system or hear it in your car. The Jubilees and others such as the Klipsch Cornwall brings this tone out nicely. -- Cory
@@TopShelfAudio thanks! I love the version they play live I think in Chicago outdoor concert late afternoon sun. It’s amazing. I’ll take a listen to version you’re into. Great album. The jubilee is going for around $30,000 a pair? You plug in the crossover in between the pre amp and amp? Thanks Cory!
Best comment, Roy - they sound ok.
Thanks for watching! Roy is an amazing individual....not to mention a super funny guy.
-Jason
I would like to hear a lot more from Roy. I knew that your channel had a Jubilee history with his previous statement: czcams.com/video/D2-lyU7X5uk/video.html from 17:08 to 18:37
@@1mctous getting Roy on the channel is a weird deal since I'm a dealer. As soon as I'm granted a significant amount of access to him in the form of video interviews then everybody expects it, so requests are denied. He will be on the official Klipsch videos and not much else. We were lucky to capture this cameo to be honest, he had to box everything up and had to show up right where I was. Right place, right time. That's about as good as it will get here. -- Cory

I don't need a man-cave to fit these monsters, I need a man-warehouse. Edit: Btw those horns look some some kind of interdimensional portal, which they kinda are. I really want to hear these puppies!

Very informative video, well done. Don’t need the stock music underneath for 45 minutes.
sorry, I'll crank it up higher next time.
I wasn’t trying to be snarky. It was a very informative video you made.
Nothing against the designers, but Bill Fitzmaurice has been doing horn loaded reflex (or is it reflex loaded horn?) for years. That said, these look awesome and look forward to auditioning them.
Probably not quite the same. Bill publicly stated last year that his ported designs are only good to about 80 hz and not so much below that. These are flat to 18.

What kind of dirty deeds done moderately priced will I have to do get a pair of these in Australia
At least 2....but could be more. You do what you need to do and get back to us when you're ready to pull the trigger on a pair!
-Jason
You said a second woofer, so are there dual 12" or dual 15" drivers. Can we see????
dual 12's that are ported, then a horn wrapped around the whole thing. I'd have to tear into some or just provide a rendering for you to see and it's a little premature for that. -- Cory
@@TopShelfAudio no no no just curious don’t tear it apart
was that maxed gain?!
Not even close. I wouldn't want to be in the same room with these at max.
-Jason
are the original cinema Jubilees still available for sale?
No they got discontinued, they didn't want any confusion going on and have two products with the same name and build style and at massively different price points. -- Cory
@@TopShelfAudio Got it, thank you for responding. I always wondered why Jubilee have two separate horn mouths and not a single like the LaScala. Do you know the engineering behind that layout?
@@hermanchigrin6360 on the bass bin? All I know is that this layout makes for the least amount of distortion, it's significantly lower than the Klipschorn both in harmonic and intermodulation distortion, plus the natural response is flatter and extends higher. The last part was the original reason for the Jubilee, you couldn't make a 2-way speaker of this size back in the 90's without it extending so high, the crossover point was 800 hz. It keeps getting lowered as compression drivers get bigger and better but yeah that was the single biggest driving factor, upper extension. The K-horn can't really hang in the same manner. -- Cory
How close to ideal will the room and placement be for those on display in Paducah, KY? I'd love to make the drive to hear them but have never been impressed with any showroom setups in the past.
You can decide for yourself! We actually posted a showroom tour video several months back where you can see the whole showroom. The showroom is more like a house than other showrooms so you can get the vibe of placing them in your own home. Additionally, Cory has a couple sets on order and I almost guarantee pictures will be posted on the Klipsch owners page almost as soon as they arrive and get into position. Take a look and let us know your thoughts!
-Jason
By the time we get them in it will be legit. I have an extra 22x25 room with 12' ceilings that these are going in. Have to get carpet and wall treatments. Once that happens you'll like it. It's challenging because one wall has a bunch of windows and the other does not. Will have to make it as symmetrical as possible. This will be the theater room and will have a dedicated projector room, should be super awesome. But it's not there yet. -- Cory
Awesome speakers but I still prefer the look of the previous model. Maybe I’d like solid black idk.
Thanks for watching! These should be available in all black as well. Once Cory has them in hand, we will get more images and videos and you can tell us what you think!
-Jason
Sooooo, which subwoofer would you recommend to use with these? 😜
not enough with the pair? Solution: More Jubilees. One for each corner should get you where you need to go...if not, just keep adding til satisfied. :p
-Jason
If you're going to use a sub such as in a theater setup, I'd recommend a horn. Either a badass pro cinema Klipsch one, or JTR Orbit Shifter, or a Danley, or something ridiculous along those lines. For 2 channel there is no point outside of perhaps dealing with room modes. Unfortunately in home theater, with most processors you are literally just throwing away the LFE channel when you don't run a sub, doesn't really matter how capable your mains are, so I always recommend running one if at all possible. -- Cory
JTR Captivator 4000 UFL
What I don't understand, how come the RP and RF series need a silicon horn to prevent certain issues, while the horns of the Heritage line and this Jubilee, don't have any horn 'damping'?
Different tech. I'm not an engineer by any means and won't claim to be but I believe it has to do with the shape and depth of the horn and the throat. This would be a great question for Roy the next time I talk to him. :)
-Jason
Great job explaining these wonderful speakers. WOW, just WOW.
Thanks and thank you for watching!
Price?

$35,000 USD. Plus four clean amp channels. -- Cory

can they take on the JBL Everest ?
Having never heard (and probably never will hear) the JBL, I'm going to say the Jub. I may be a bit bias though lol. They are truly amazing and I can't imagine anything else taking the win in a battle.
That said, if nothing else, the bang for buck ratio is huge. While cost is pretty large on both...for the cost of one of the JBL, you can get a pair of Jubs and some decent power behind em.

Why doesn't the Klipsch team update the La scala and make it a small two way active crossover like the Jubilee!
Honestly can't say because we don't know. Klipsch engineers seem to know what they are doing though and are pretty amazing individuals. Most things tend to come down to cost vs benefit and keeping the speakers of different tiers in line.
-Jason
To be honest, doing this is not a popular move whatsoever, most people do not want to do this unless it just happens to be necessary. They would rather have a single amp that gets plugged into the speaker and that's that, which, is understandable, much easier and cheaper, less things to mess up. -- Cory

Honestly, they sound awesome in any environment. The room we were in here was pretty large but, if you look in at the pictures of Jub fest posted, it's really not that big and they are still killin it. You're not going to want to put them in a closet, but in you're average sized living room, they will blow you away.

Roy always says that the smaller the room, the bigger the horn. I've seen the original style / underground Jubilees be put in an 8x10 room. I had them in my 15x20 theater room and thought they were perfect. Just because they can be loud as shit doesn't mean you have to play them at those volumes. The whole idea of the jubilee is stupid low distortion and imaging that is second to none. You just don't have to push them hard to see those benefits. -- Cory

No keep it beautiful, not utilitarian
To be honest, people have been trying to pretty up the 402 horn ever since they were released. Most look funny to me although a couple were ok. We have literally been trying for 20 years to figure out how to make the 402 horn presentable. I think the industrial designer did a fine job personally. It's very minimalistic if you think about it. If you just really don't like the wood surround I'm sure you can figure out how to take it off. It's not like the project is going to get killed / "stopped" because somebody didn't like the wood. Everybody I have talked to has said they think the designer did a great job with this. -- Cory

An extremely effective way to stop acid reflux is to raise the rear of your bed about 7’’s so that your head is higher than your feet, there are numerous other benefits to doing this as well .
