  • Sit down with Senior Acoustic Enginer Roy Delgado aka Chief Bonehead to learn more about the legendary Klipsch Jubilee floorstanding speaker. The Jubilee is part of the Klipsch Heritage Series which is proudly designed and assembled in Hope, Arkansas, right where Paul W. Klipsch started it all back in 1946. Each speaker is built to order, meaning that every Heritage speaker is uniquely yours. You will want to pass these speakers onto future generations.

Some rare times listening to a speaker so close to perfection reproducing something special captured to almost perfection, a person can feel something truly emotional. It is so rare most of us never experience it. I actually felt something not hearing music, but hearing a journey to get to that rare place of audio reproduction that hit me emotionally here. Roy Delgado's oral history of taking Paul Klipschs dream design to reality did this for me. This is that exceptional.

🤜🏼💥🤛🏼 I love my Klipsch set up.
Still need a few extra pieces tho,
    4 Atmos tops etc.
But Klipsch really puts you in the experience of movies, music, games
or whatever you are using them for.
    🤘😁👍

Great listening to the inside baseball. Thank you.
With the Jubilee being so tall and the compression driver sitting at least 10”, or more, above normal ear height, doesn’t the imaging float too high?
Given all the work put into the horn design, etc., I find it ironic that the end of the horn is met with the abrupt hard right angle edge of the wood front. Any info on that? Would it not cause significant diffraction?

These babies are next on my bucket list for sure. By the way, I recently did a firmware update on my Klipsch Bar 48 sound bar, now the sub won’t sync. I’ve tried everything. Any thoughts?

I would just love to demo the Jubilee speakers however from a realistic point of view I have a genuine concern if I (or whomever) decides to make this purchase and that would be the resale down the road. Because I am assuming there are not that many yet sold on the mass market it may be too early to tell. I am new to Klipsch and this may be my only deal breaker because of the shear size and unique design may prove to be an issue. Please feel free to comment, thanks.

Roy, Will the Jubilee produce a 32-footer? Nothing is being said about a center speaker in any of the Klipsch set ups. Is it not needed anymore?

I run Sanders Electrostatic with Transmission Line bass - they too are digital DSP (x/overs, time delay etc.) with four mono amps.
There is no other way to go.
No matter how expensive your Wilsons / Rockports etc are, with that godawful contraption called a passive crossover between the amp and the speakers they just sound dead.

I have to be honest, the three worst audio auditions I ever had were with the Lascallas. Two in audio shops, 1980s, and then around 2000. The third in a venue as house speakers.
The problem was the bass cabinet rang like gymnasium. This huge eco type colouration. Even my friends Khorn had that effect somewhat.
So my 40 year question is, how could you think that was a finished product? Not trying to be an #ss, not at all, just my honest observation. It makes me question if the Jubilee has the same issue, as you still offer the Lascalla as is?
    Thanks for work.
