Why fly to Mexico and walk across with a guide? Can Chinese people not get a visa and simply fly directly into the USA, and then overstay their visas? That's how Europeans do it.

Our immigration system is broken. We just can't allow people to illegally cross our border like this. In general, if people want to come here legally, they should wait. In 1975 after the Vietnam War, refugees waited to be interviewed in Thailand and Pulau Bidong before coming in legally to the US. I think the US should set something up for true people who seek asylum to wait at a safe part of Guantanamo to be interviewed before coming in to US.

What is an electrical engineer?
Not that I agree with letting illegals in, but electrical engineering is actually an important thing. It's a compilation of mathematics and physics, designed to being able to create and build new technology e.g. cell phones, calculators, computers, etc.. You have to have the smarts to earn a degree in electrical engineering. Whether the guy is telling the truth about whether he has an advanced degree in it is left for question. It will be tough for him to get a job as U.S. companies have woken up to intellectual property theft. Chinese workers are often loyal to CCP and U.S. tech companies know it.
