Let's be honest here... Japan is "officially" safer for women because women in Japan rarely report sex crimes. Even when caught in the act, with witnesses, the number of convictions for sex crimes is painfully low, compared to the rest of the developed world.

About being stopped by the Police, here in the US many ppl are scared of our Police. The cops detain, harass, and do horrible stuff I won't mention here to regular citizens that aren't doing anything wrong. I think that fear of Police in general might be why some are complaining about Japanese Police stopping them. I'm pretty sure Japanese Police are just doing their jobs and aren't trying to intimate or hurt people like a lot of cops in America.

Keep doing you Japan and just ignore annoying Gaijins who complain!

Japan reminded me of America in the 80's when I was a kid. It made me miss when Americans had good manners and weren't sloppy.

For a Westerner, there are absolutely things to complain about in the context of overwork, excessive bureaucracy, loneliness, tatamae, etc. It's not particularly an online thing.
My coworkers consider those things about Japan if it comes up in conversation and they are nothing close to weebs. It's just something that's spread and casually acknowledged through popular culture, even if they don't know the whole story.

Jordan-san was correct on one point, Japanese men are very small. Whenever I drop a deuce in Japan I have to hold my junk up or it rubs against the inside of the toilet bowl. Do Japanese men have this problem? I don’t know, but I assume that if they did, the toilet bowls would be bigger.

First off, I don't think Japanese people in general are racist, not from my experience anyway. The timidness of most Japanese people however may have sent out wrong signals. When it comes to police officers randomly stopping and questioning foreigners, I don't know if Jordan/Sam is joking, again from my own experience, never happened to me. But nowadays with more migrants coming to Japan, it is likely, and reasonably so. Finally, a very sophisticated AV industry may have contributed to Japan's low rape rate. 😅 Good job everyone. 👍

I like the video! But one thing that I have reservations is about the immigrant and crime thing. I don’t really think that with what’s happening right now in Japan that immigrants are making the crime rate go up. I know you guys don’t mean it in a way to perpetuate stereotypes but it can come off the wrong as there are a lot of white supremacists online that use Japan as an example as their model country because of low immigration rates.

I sometimes watch videos with titles such as "Foreigners that Japanese people do not like." I never find "Car enthusiast on the list" and I feel more confident that I won't be a problem.
I remember when I was a little kid, I took some interest in Japanese products. I never really thought that much about the salaryman. I always imagined the following jobs when I was a child:
Car builder. I imagined people putting Toyotas together was the #1 job over there. I did want to see a less popular car company, Nissan. I wanted to see the 300ZX Twin Turbo get built. They would have called it Z32 Fairlady TT. I think if my mom did not own a Nissan Maxima or I did not fall in love with it, I might have had a completely different set of priorities. I once wondered that if my mom owned a BMW when I was a kid, would I want to go to Germany and see the BMW M5 get built?
Programmer. Gotta have those electronics that are futuristic. Many Americans have seen pictures of Shibuya Crossing. They don't know it is Shibuya Crossing, they just get shown a picture of it and are told Japan is 10 years in the future. A few years ago, I joked "Is Shibuya Crossing just a tiny piece of the puzzle? Is it like advertising tourism to the USA with Times Square New York?"
Robot experts. Giant mecha is the first genre of anime many people saw. Many kids in the USA saw Voltron. A few years ago, I found it was a dubbed version of GoLion. Others saw Robotech, a dub of Macross.
What's my job? I suppose if I visit, how will they react to NEET?
I love making fun of the diversity crowd. If diversity was so great, a bunch of smug jerks wouldn't be telling the masses to do it.
Japan should just stay the way it is. I say that if Japan changed, "WTF Japan" jokes would not be funny.
Stop stealing underwear! Don't be a thief! Buy used underwear from burusera shops.
I often argue that being openly perverted acts as a vent against nastier things. I think about how many holy men end up committing sex crimes.

So you have to perfectly like every country you decide to move to?
Im german if i moved to America my complaints wouldnt be any less valid than a native if i made the effort to integrate.
There are a lot of problems with japan and just because someone moves there for its benefits doesnt mean they shouldnt be able to complain about its faults.
      Attitudes like yours promote stagnation.
Of course if someone moves to a country and doesnt even attempt to integrate then their complaints can be dismissed.

Having Tkyo Sam in a video about annoying foreigners is hilariously ironic to me. I stopped following him years ago for that very reason. Also, he bashed Japan and Japanese people a LOT and I got tired of it. He's deleted a lot of his stuff from back then but some people have saved some of that and reposted it.

Unfortunately communication between Japan 🇯🇵 and the United States 🇺🇸 during World War II (1941-1945) was really terrible so much Time & lives could have been saved.
