Today's Tutorial Information:
▶ Technique: Straight Pour (plus Ring Pour)
▶ Canvas size: 20x20 inches
▶ Pouring Medium formula: My paints are mixed with Liquitex Pouring Medium. The ratio I use is 1:3:1 Paint/Medium/Water.
▶ Color Palette:
Amsterdam: Permanent Blue Violet, Caput Mortuum Violet
Pebeo - Iridescent Precious Gold, Iridescent Violet Blue, Dark Violet Cobalt
▶ Hair dryer: When I use a hair dryer I use the Remington D3010 and always use the cool setting and the lowest blow speed.

I Love the purples So much ! I find myself tilting my phone while u are tilting the canvas 😂 ! I Loved the 1st 2 cup pours. & I also liked the 3rd cup. I enjoy the anticipation of how it's gonna turn out. U balance the canvas so we'll. A lot of artists can't really balance their canvas & waste a lot of paint. A little more gold and pink may have given you more contrast on that first go round, right? When you were poring into the cups that purple did take over, yes. Oh but that ring pour was fantastic on the second go round! It turned out so well! Remember, do t be so hard on yourself. This was a great learning experience for you and me both. If you hadn't done it, the original pour wouldn't have had much contrast indeed. Might still have been a nice base colour for a mandala embellishment or whatever else, but you made a great decision with the ring pour 🖒💖

It’s gorgeous!!! I think the first composition might have worked out if the paints had been thicker. They looked rather thin. I thought you were going to do a Dutch pour at first. Anyhow it turn out absolutely beautiful!! I love the color combination. & it’s always great to remember that you can keep going until you’re satisfied!!!! 💜💜💜💜
