- Today is a great piece and I can't wait for you to see it. This is an open cup (using a star shaped cookie cutter as my open cup). This continues my Metallic Series.

Today's Tutorial Information:
▶ Technique: Open Cup over a Ring Pour
▶ Canvas size: 12x12 inches
▶ Pouring Medium formula: My paints are mixed with a Pouring Medium for all techniques unless otherwise stated in the video. The ratio I use is 1:3:1 Paint/Medium/Water. I use Floetrol/Owatrol for my medium. For those creations that I use water only (again I will say so in the video so please watch the full video for more details) Water only creations use the ratio of 1:1 paint to water.

I'm back in hospital & using the time to watch & re-watch your videos.
I have been sharing your beautiful creations with the staff here: doctors, nurses, kitchen staff, cleaners & EVERY person who has seen your works is amazed.🎉
In fact, a few of us are looking to set up a get together day & work both individual works but possibly a large communal piece, hopefully to display in the hospital.

Do you wipe off your sides when done?
I collect and remove the drips to minimise any further movement 👍🏻
Do you ever do workshops?
Where are you based? I’m not currently doing any pouring workshops but something I can explore for the future 🤩
I am in the United States, and would travel for a multi day workshop!
