The transition from Jey exiting the arena to Sami entering it was exquisite

Been loving these new camera shots and angles they have been doing gives it more feel and helps the product I think
I think the visual of Gable ripping Sami away from his wife to hit the suplex made it more dramatic

Interesting note about the new tag title belts, because of it, The Miz has held 6 different WWE Tag Belt Designs over his career. Surpassing the record previously set by Matt Hardy.

When talking about the Sami entrance people forget the set up with Jey Uso. I believe it was a single following shot that followed Jey after his match walking out through the crowd to the entrance of the building and finding Sami sanding outside and then the camera follows Sami back in the arena to the ring. Amazing production work.

Idk about anyone else, but that picture of the guy looking at the shadow on the wall immediately reminded me of Plato's allegory of the cave. Basically, it gives the scenario of a man chained in a cave his whole only able to see a blank wall. Sometimes, things will pass between him and the fire behind him, casting shadows on the wall. To him, those shadows are his world but are not accurate representations of the real world. Someone who steps outside of the cave, or frees themselves, can understand the true source of the shadows and is enlightened.

Anyone else notice that the URL for the Uncle Howdy website is an anagram of June15AD? Guy in the Picture looks like Julius Caesar who died on the 15th. Clash at the Castle in Glasgow is on June 15th 2024?!

The one thing that makes sense to me is that Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar had Paul Heyman negotiating their contracts and they were able to get part time deals which allowed them to not have to abide by the 30 day rule. Like that is the kayfabe reason they don’t have to defend the title.
You need to cook a little longer
The argument for vacating a title was the champion should be able to defend their title. Roman and Lesnar were able to during their entire reigns. They just didn’t have to.

Priest even flat out stated on TV he couldn't cash in his MITB on Seth in that period because the champion was injured and not medically capable of competing
I think the thing with Rhea being off so long is that WWEs women's storylines are almost all based around the title so you'd be taking our their main women's storyline for 3 or 4 months

This is why Gable didnt win that Gauntlet: Sami was getting a bit lost in the shuffle in his post-Bloodline Days, they gave him his moment to reignite his popularity and in turn Chad gets character development in the long run thats gotta pay off better than a babyface title win/reign. Great move from the Levesque era.

I think with Rhea, if she was or is cleared to travel, they'd keep her on TV with JD as champ and manager until SummerSlam. If she isn't cleared to travel then vacating it is probably better than holding it hostage as she now isn't champ and other ppl get that opportunity and she is still just as dominant and can win it back. I also saw Buddy's tweet which was nice. 🖤💜
Roman could do it because even when he wasn't around a lot, Roman still had a match or defended every 10 weeks or so and Seth between his injury didnt work a match for 11 weeks. Rhea's injury is sadly going to take way loonger than that if they're willing to vacate her title when they could've easily done what they did to seth and roman to inflate her reign numbers.

The reason why Seth and Roman were afforded the time “off” while injured was simply because it was the build up to Mania.
They were not gonna jeopardise the overarching story of wrestlemania 40 by saying “sorry guys, Seth was injured for 7 weeks, so no rock match now”
No champ should be eligible for draft. After a loss the former champ or champs should be a trade between all brands.
Actually there should be an open trade season the month of September. This way survivor series could be set with no brand warfare bs from people just joining and RR entrants could start hints of new feuds from eliminations and the upcoming April draft every year.

They should've waited until the Draft was done before unveiling the new belts, considering the now known as World Tag Team Championship was actually called the WWE Tag Team Championship before.
Tag belts have been unified before but this was the first time they were split. I believe all the history from the 80's and 90's are the blue ones on Smackdown. The lineage gets pretty twisted at times, especially after Vince kept realizing he had no tag champs on Smackdown and just kept creating new belts.

I'm not a fan of Mami or The Judgment Day, but I'd still rather have someone beat her for the Women's World Title than for her to simply vacate it due to injury. As for Liv, I think that some of these fans are really fickle and confused if they're going to turn on her because she (a face) got her revenge on a heel champion, who, mind you, took her out of action last year. I'm curious to see where the story goes, but I don't see how they are going to turn Rhea face when she's clearly a heel who talks down to the fans and treats others like peasants, much like the rest of her heel faction. Instead, if they want her to be the face of the Women's Division, how about having her break away from Judgment Day, feud with other heels and treat the fans like human beings? Otherwise, she might as well just be a goth version of Charlotte Flair.

The comparison between Rhea and Lesnar/Roman really doesn’t work. Rhea is physically unable to defend her title. Therefore has to vacate it. Both Roman and Lesnar were able to defend theirs whenever.
