I think it’s great. Don’t forget they still make a classic kit which has the same options to build your own gas powered one. Very cool introducing with an electric version to keep it going and connected to a new demographic. I love mine I will never part with it

Why would I want to drive a Manx without a stick shift?

If you look at the demographic of who they’re targeting. Or even just the name “resorter” it’s pretty clear they’re going for resorts and places/people who want low maintenance and are ok with 25mph. At 25mph you’d never get into 2nd gear.

@@dillansgarage It is just sad and a big fall from what it once was.

@@nannuartworks5812 The only vehicles that have been old and new again that haven't been an utter fail is the Bronco, and Jeeps. Everything else is going electric and will never be what it once was. I'm not happy about any new vehicle. They are all over complicated and too difficult to work on. Don't even get me started on Tesla. So a simple Meyers Manx electric buggy is the least of my sadness in the modern car era. It a good looking simple buggy that would be fun to ride in.

@@dillansgarage I don't care about their demographic. I care about Farfegnugen... the pleasure of driving.
