Like the concept. Could easily have been electric 4 wheel drive so as not to get stuck in the sand.

4 wheel drive isn't the only way to get through rough terrain. In light weight vehicles with the right torque, 2 wheel drive is more than sufficient.

Can't go play in the waves though, moisture = potential problems, where as an ICE would just be so freaking hot it would vaporize any water to get near to it as long as the air intake was above the water line
Yeah that was my first thought too. It is cool looking, but electric? No thanks.

The buggy looks so fun to drive!
I like it! I can see it going into production with a detachable light weight quick remove roof, doors, that remove in one piece and folds up for easy storage with the rear hatch back roof being about the same.

Wherever you were, it's beautiful there. Kinda looks like Monterey. If I owned a beach house, I would have an ID in the garage. Looks very cool. You get to visit all the most beautiful places. What a life you have.
I LOVE THIS! As long as they price right for what it is, I would definitely get one.
Its just like forklift with the gear selector, forward , neutral and reverse all on one stick.
Also I could listen to that background music all day very nice

Really loved the concept of the beach buggy but it’s not practical for normal everyday life sit probably won’t sell that well but I love it and would love to own one

So cool and for fun cars like this, electric engines would be better than petrol! These cars aren’t made for long distances really so a quiet electric engine that’s still quick is just perfect for this! Good job VW and great video SB ♥️😊

Well I mean it is a concept car that is worth quite a lot of money being the only one that exists and she was probably told not to drive it roughly so it wont get damaged

Cool concept
The point is if it is a production car it does not have safety. The point that you dont need a key to open it thus, it can be stealed easily.
