you sounds like the band crash test dummies which is very wholesome to me
how do you maintain it , cause my plant just grows like Spiderman every which way it wants too and I have fat leaves and baby leaves all mixed together. it bounces off the surface and grow wavy. I am not too sure how to hang it cause you do need to water them. Also if you hang them the leaves will bounce all over the place if you touch them. I just leave it on the table and it looking to need a hair cut currently looking like sideshow bob from the simpsons

Hi..my plant has yellow leaves a few days after I bought it. It has sunlight for about 2 hours and I water it once in 10 days. Please help!! What am I doing wrong?

If you just bought the plant and it’s still in the nursery pot, leave ALL new plants in the nursery pot for 1 to 1 and a half years.
REMEMBER...
The plant is in shock from transporting from nursery to your home. Watering, feeding, and lighting is different. Every plant needs to acclimate to its new home. For a new plant, just concentrate on keeping it alive. After the plant is calm and use to your home then repot.

My burros tail leaves are little wrinkly and don’t look robust and plump. Am I overwatering or under watering ? I live in the Tropics and I water it once a fortnight
Hi this is kind of a random question and I can't seem to find an answer on Google or anything, but do you know if different trailing succulents can be planted in the same pot? For example a burros tail with a string of pearls? Any advice would be appreciated thanks :)

Mine is flowering! Just discovered it in my southern facing window (in Maine/March so not exactly tropical light :) ). There are globes of sticky clear pitch like sap. Google is not helping me determine if this is normal or a pest?

I have one in a pot with other succulents and it’s the only one what looks wrinkly. Is it thirsty?
how can you tell if you have root mealy bugs if the crown of your plant is too full to even check the soil? Mine is huge but I found some stems that were white, fuzzy, and shriveled at soil level so I propagated the entire plant. They grow fast so I am ok with this but I am concerned that pests could spready of I do not see them on the foliage. Can you offer me any advice? Also, how far can this plant spread? I would like a wide hanging plant but once again, they are so delicate that I fear giving it too much room to fill.

Yeah depending on where you are and where you have your plant you may need to add a little bit of water you may not. Here in Kentucky I have mine indoors under my grow lights near a window and he drinks about 2-2.5 cups of water every 7-9 days. Otherwise he drops his leafs. I keep a decent sized fan in there too to help move air around so that dries it out also. Outside they wouldn't need any water, we get a lot of rain here in Kentucky.

Hello! Worm castings are worm poop. Basically it's what they excrete that feeds specific plants. Along with providing nutrients they also improve the overall structure of the soil and deters pests like spider mites and aphids. The 20-20-20 fertilizer are the 3 numbers on the back of a box of fertilizer. They are three important elements that all plants need. They stand for Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium. You will see them abbreviated NPK. 20-20-20 means they all have the same amount of the three in there. 5-10-20 Would mean that there are double Phosphorus and quadruple potassium than the Nitrogen. If that makes sense. Math hard. Let me know if you have anymore questions, I hope this helps.

I just got mine 4 days ago. It was tiny. Just repotted it yesterday and soaked it. This morning soil is dry again. I put it in a ceramic pot ( small one) but is it normal to suck up moisture that fast?
He was probably pretty thirsty. Do you live someplace excessively hot? It may have evaporated even overnight. It was likely both the heat and a thirsty plant. Although these guys can go a good minute without water mostly once they're established. Those plump leaves store a decent amount of water. I would just keep an eye on him. Mostly I give mine ample morning light and then protection from the sun during the hotter part of the day. I'll let the soil dry out for a day or two before adding more water. The key is a deep watering, infrequently.
What are the easiest fruit/vegetables to plant? Do you know of any that ‘“thrive in negligence“?
Unfortunately not. Plants/trees that produce fruit/vegetables or nuts etc. need a lot of light, a lot of water, and ample nutrients in order to provide us with all this that we like. Now some may be easier than others to grow but they will all need about 6 + hours of direct light etc. I enjoy growing strawberries (which have been established) blackberries, blueberries, watermelon, peppers, lettuce, greenbeans, mint (only grow mint in a container because it will take over any garden), lemongrass, and kiwis. Blackberries and kiwis can self pollinate that makes them a little easier to grow. I love growing silver queen corn but you have to have several of those growing so you can pollinate them by hand unless you have a good garden size plot of them. I also have lemon trees, lime trees, orange trees and a apple tree.
@@TheGreenAlchemist hey, you said you like to grow kiwis. Always wanted to venture down that (or a similar) path. What type of terrain/climate do you live in that allows for their growth? And are they delicious 🤤? Lol. I was more interested in kiwi berries, but I sort of imagine that they may need the same things.

Sounds like etiolation. Make sure he's getting the right amount of light. I had to purchase some artificial grow lights to help mine out. If you are interested in using them I include a link under all my videos so you can see the ones I use for most of my tropical plants. There have been a good deal of advancements with led grow lights over the last several years. They no longer cost a bunch to purchase or to run and it's helped mine out tremendously. How are your watering and humidity levels?
How do you repot
Easy, give your pot a squeeze if it's in a plastic container. If you don't feel a bunch of give then yes it's time. I usually go for a container one to two sizes bigger and for these guys you'll need a half way decent heafty pot that can hold this heavy plant. I like Terracotta plus they'll help you keep your moisture in check because they are porous and will wick water away. Anywho, loosen up the root ball by watering the plant really well at least 24 hours ahead of time. Then following that get you a decent plastic container with high enough walls and keep it under you to catch falling substrate. Then if you have a plastic pot container squeeze it a couple of times with your hands or legs to help loosen the root ball. If you don't have him in a plastic pot just take a butter knife or a root hook and GENTLY run it through the soil and possibly between the plant and the container to help loosen the plants grip. Turn it over in the plastic container and if gravity doesn't take over the lightly shake it. Before placing the plant in it's new container make sure you wash it out with hot soap and water and a scrub brush. Then get your cacti and succulent soil and add enough in there to fill the container half way. Put a small divot in the center so the plant has a place to sit. Before placing the plant in the new container look the roots over. You should probably go a head and prune them up fairly aggressively. Always make sure you sanitize your tools before working, with rubbing alcohol or hot soap and water. As a general rule of thumb you can remove about 3/4 of a plants root structure without harming the plant. Though you may wanna go about half to be safe. Following this, place the plant in the new container and finish covering him back up with the same soil, making sure that you tamp it down as you go, all the way round the pot. Once your soil is right give the plant some water to help rid the soil of any remaining air bubbles that tamping didn't remove. Let me know if you have any questions, plant prudently!

I have a burrows tail that I just got and this is my first one...but I don't seem to know what I'm doing wrong with it,cause it doing ok when I got it,but I waterd it and now one them just died..there was only 2 in the little hanging pot,now only 1 don't wanna lose it too..please help...
So the leaves are specifically designed to hold water to make sure the plant can make it through smaller periods of drought. Now there is a fine line because if they go too long the plant will respond by dropping leaves which will never grow back. You'd have to cut them back to get them to look right. Insufficient light causes them to die or at least the leaves to drop. If you notice they do continue to drop leaves move them to a slightly brighter location. Do it slowly though the leaves will burn. Humidity can be a problem with them too. Surprisingly the humidity levels for them are around 40% or so. A pebble tray or humidifier may be necessary. As long as you give them plenty of bright but indirect sunlight, not too much water and a moderate amount of humidity your plant should be fine. They aren't very heavy feeders at all, but if you want you can scratch a little bit of worm castings into your soil to help the roots, or use some diluted general all purpose fertilizer. I only feed mine once every other month and dilute it at least by half. If you have any questions at all please let me know. Good luck.

Thank you, I have two green arms too, actually I'm as green as the hulk! lol. My lemon tree is about 4 years old this summer. No, I rescued it from home depot. They had it in this metal pot with no drainage hole. When I found it, it had just rained and the pot was entirely full of water. The plant would have drowned had I not come along. I couldn't buy every plant but I dumped the water out of all of them. And just so you know the lemon tree on the table is fake. I do have a lemon tree and I did a video on it too if you want to check that one out.
I’m not sure about someone that gives me plant advise and displays fake plants in his video.
I'm not sure if you know much about plants but they need sunlight to grow. Where I record and the table I use are in the middle of my house, nowhere near a window that could give them the correct amount of sunlight they need. I still want plants there though and this way I don't have to move all these plants around before and after I record every video. Take notice though, I have plenty of real plants there that I still have to move around!
