Yes you’re right ma’am Liz,,, they really love water 💦🌱🌵
Thanks Liz, this is my second attempt with Burrito's tail, I killed my first one and I didn't know that they liked water. Perfect timing, this weekend I noticed it was starting to shrivel up and it bounced right back after I watered it. I need to research some more but this video is very helpful. Not all succulents are created equal.

This was very helpful thanks so much ❤
Glad it was helpful, Christie! Thanks for watching.🥰
Your succulents are exquisite, what a beautiful lady, your personality is just outstanding, really enjoy your genuine enthusiasm! Thank you for sharing and teaching, now I can take better care of Our Burro's Tail!
Thank you so much for watching John. Happy Growing.😊🌱
Hi Liz.. Everything looks beautiful there.. I hope you are having lovely weather.. ❤️
Made a special video for tomorrow base on this comment of yours Vicky.💕
This is one succulent which is thriving in my garden, out under the elements. You’re right Liz , they grow during spring & autumn ( goldilocks rule ... neither too hot nor too cold )
Love them one of my favourite succulent in my Garden
Thankyou for info, I’m excited now about mine!
Im glad they like water because mine have been out in torrential rain for the last 4 days 😅
Your garden is beautiful!!!!
Thank you so much!
Hi! I’ll give it a try next time if I ever come across one. Thank you for all of the Info. 💕🙏🏼
Thank you for sharing beautiful and amazing plants collection lovely garden have a blessed day
I think I prefer the burrito as well. Exactly for the reason you said it’s just cuter more compact and I love the spiral form that it looks like it does. Anyway I’m just stopping in to say hi my mom broke her hip so I have been taking care of her and my father so needless to say I’ve been busy and I have a lot of videos to catch up on. I hope you are enjoying the warmer weather❤️ talk to you soon
What warmer weather. The other night, I had the heater on. Summer is not coming to Canberra this year. Hope your Mom get's better soon. 💕💕💕
I'm starting to get a grip on this one. Couldn't have enough burito and morgianum (not sure if both are the same, I'm confused already 😅🤣 but I have both dwarf and longer one). BTW, yess they love water so much. But the soil must be super2 fast draining. And I bath them practically every few days. But mine is outdoor and in windy+ with a mix of direct+indirect light. After frequent watering I find the new growths are much fatter and heavier. 😍🍀
Anyways, I'm binging on your videos, make more videos on trailing succulents Liz💗😘😘🥰
💕💕💕
So beautiful. Do keep us updated on the varieties that you’ve successfully acclimated enough to plant out in your front garden
Thank you! Will do!

2nd, I'm getting obsessed with your voice and the way you talk🤣.,Even my husband is asking, "who is she? I always see you sneaking around her videos,.. And then... He said, now I know why you purchased alot of succulents recently🤣 Superb influencer Miss Liz. I would love to get a big shout from you on your next video maybe?? 🙏.. Looking forward. Be blessed. Your fan girl from Kuala Lumpur.
Thanks very much for your lovely comment and wishing you all the best for your channel. Cheers
Make a video on string of pearls plz
I've made mention/show of how to grow string of pearls on a couple of videos ago. I think it's in the plant haul. Anyway, no promises but I'll see what I can do. Thanks for watching.
Thank you for sharing 💞
Thanks for watching! 💕💕💕
Thanks Liz❤️❤️❤️
💕💕💕
❤❤❤❤beautiful, I love it
Thank you! 😊
Learned in hard way. Killed 4 times. Revived them every time. Not gonna experiment anymore
Just got one 2 weeks ago and I’ve been dehydrating it 🤭😱😂 about to give her a little drink lol
You can let them dry for a day after taking cuttings and plant in wet soil, or you can snap them off and stick in a top dry soil and they will grow. Provided the weather is not hot(Summer) or too cold(winter). I've shown this method on my VLOG #98 video also if you're interested. Thanks for watching.
Wow🤩🤩🤩
Mine need to be watered too, they are all wrinkled up
Drown them! THEY LOOOVE IT!!!
Glad I found your video on water propagating Burro's tail, it really saved my last stalks which I couldn't understand why they were drying but it was from a lack of water. After you do the water, how do you make a safe transition to plant them in soil without drying up? Any advice?
You can plant them in soil straight away and it shouldn't dry up unless the roots doesn't have contact with the moist soil. You can also use hairpin to clip them into the soil.
😊💜
Where did you get your colored propagation tubes? They are super cute! Also my donkey tail and burro's-tail leaves are falling off easier than before. Nothing has changed! Any advice would be awesome! Thanks
I got the glass from a thrift store/OP shop. I find that the less water they get, the firmer they are. I find that the trick is to water less but more.
❤❤
💕💕💕💕💕💕
👏👏👏❤️
Hi, miss Liz.. i was wondering how do they survive water propagation while at same time often facing issues with stem rot... I thought, stem rot is due to overwatering but hey, look at them beeing one year soaked under water n growing healthy roots.. mind to help me understand this plant better?
They will rot if overwatered in a soil with too much organic. They need to have some drainage in the soil or some air movement through the soil. With the right soil mix, this plant can even be watered everyday and won't rot.
@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK thank you so much fir your kind explanation.. i hv 2 types, the baby buro and the bigger one.. the bigger ones like to branch out where the leaves drop, instead of growing straight.. the baby one tend to gv different2 shades of green color.. wish me luck in raising them
