My quill was super fuschia when I got her, and is turning quite pale. Is this a normal part of her life? She’s in an indirect eastern window and I mist every other day. I don’t see any pests. I’m wondering if she’s already bloomed before I got her?…. I’ve had her a couple of months.

No one was there to witness anything more than 6,000 years ago! That is mythology! Pre historic is an oxymoron! If it’s before history, it never happened! Even Darwin disagreed with his evolutionary premise once it was proven to be wrong in his lifetime!

Water once a month and no standing water. Soil should not be soggy. Sansevieria's are pest resistant pretty much. Bright lights or sun can burn leaves. Moderate to low light is ideal. 🌿💛🌿

I'm a very experienced grower and ive never seen one with multiple canes like that. They sell ones with 1 or 2 or 3 in a pot but they're individuals potted together not one plant with 4 trunks thats wonderful. Its called fragranse bc when it flowers it smells great and pungent but it almost impossible to get it to flower here where we are in Kentucky 6b bc it doesn't experience a winter since we have to winter it inside it needs a mild winter like it would in Africa

Any leaves or stems that break off stick right back into the pot they prop better in dirt or moss than they do in water. Given the right amount of acclimating you can even stick them out in direct sunlight that's how I got mine to flower ×2. Put them in a very well draining cactus substrate that also retains water they LOVE 💧 the leaves will be your indicator if they are limp it needs water if they are crisp like a jade leafe it don't need it yet. Great plants! mine grew kinda strange in a very upright manner but that could be from a number of things.

I got a key lime tree a little over 2.5 months ago (I only know that it’s a key lime tree). When I ordered it, the nursery I ordered it through said it was 3 years old. I started off keeping it in the sunny & hot room of the house but opted to keep it outside on the front patio and it’s doing much better outside. A week ago my mommie noticed it had bloomed flowers everywhere. I looked at it earlier today and I see it has way more blooms on it, the tree is now completely covered with these flowers The nursery owner did say that it’s a mini lime tree, which is exactly what I wanted bc I want to continue to keep it in the pot on my patio, the only thing that I’m dreading is repotting bc ik its going to go into shock once I repot and it desperately needs repotting (like weeks ago, as soon as it arrived I noticed it needing to be repotted but I really really hate repotting my plants

Thanks for the tips and what not. I have a microcarpa given to me three years ago which has grown into a beautiful tree with an inverted pyramid shape, so while not known for a distinct crown, the species is quite capable of growing one. Yes, the species is very forgiving and will survive periods of low light, and moisture. Mine lives in a sunny window except for a couple of months each winter when it needs some artificial light. This is also an easy species to propagate, although cuttings from the root stock will not resemble the grafted branches. Have some cuttings growing in water now from the grafted (microcarpa) branches. Anxious to see how the will grow. Cheers! 🙏🪴💯

Great video. I have a Chinese Elm that I have a problem with. It has no buds or leaves and looks dead. I did the scratch test and it is green underneath. The top area of the tree is a reddish color. I have it out on my patio. I have it sitting where the intense sun does not get it and it still gets the light. The soil is OK and drains good. It is not waterlogged. I can not figure it out. I would welcome any help or suggestions with it. Why is my tree like that? I live in Frankfort, KY. It is summer, so it should be having buds, leaves, etc-yet there are none. Not even a tiny bud. I have pics but no place to put on here.

Can you use peat moss instead of/with spagnom moss? I’m thinking about repotting to a bigger pot. I have mine hanging outside on my porch in a shady spot that gets shade most of day but gets some sunlight towards end of day 4-7pm. It seems to be doing well, but the only thing I’m concerned about is possibly getting fungus mites as you mentioned.
