    I'm rebuilding the carburetor on my 94 Waverunner VXR 650 and my pop off is at 19 psi. I've read that mine should be 55 psi. If that's the case, then mine is WAY off!! I'm going to try a different spring and see what that does. I'm completely new to skis so THANK YOU for the videos dude!!

    I just rebuilt a sbn38 for a 1990 Seadoo sp to replace the original set up. Your videos helped so much! Thanks. So glad we decided to go with the supers because the old carbs were giving us so much issues, couldn’t get it to start right unless I was giving it some throttle, then with the new carb in, thing started right up by just tapping the starter. Was great!

      I’m so glad it helped! That SBN upgrade is definitely the way to go. I did it on an 89 SP that I had as well.

      That’s interesting! Yamaha pop off is a little bit different than Sea Doo for some reason. I just try to use the springs and lever arms that are already in the carbs.

    Please don’t use an electrical crimper on oetiker clamps there is a tool for that. That doesn’t crush the hose and clamp uneven.

      I made do with what I had. I have the proper Knipex tool now

    The loop between pulse and return is unnecessary and fallable. Just plug return and disregard pulse during test.

      @jetskirehab750  Před rokem +1

      Easier just to loop them than to plug. Plus makes sure fuel pump side is air tight.

    Mine seems to have no pop off and I just redid the whole carb is it because I have it all together or do I gotta take off that cover n rubber peice

    • @jetskirehab750
      @jetskirehab750  Před 3 lety

      You have to take off the cover and rubber diaphragm to test like in video.

    Question about fuel system. I have a 96 sea-doo spi, should the tank hold pressure? If I pull the Y formed breather hose from the fuel tank I can blow through it. Should I be able to or is there check valves in the lines to hold pressure? Thanks

    • @jetskirehab750
      @jetskirehab750  Před 3 lety

      There are check valves. Both in and out. There is a pressure test procedure in the manual. You can find a free manual at seadoomanuals.net
