i think that’s a big part on what makes andrew ‘uncancel-able’. he can make a joke about anyone, but he always ends up saying something nice about them as well. it leaves the audience not hating/feeling bad for that person, because theyre focused on the good things instead.

The point that he said “don’t blame him he was in survival mode” and “as soon as he found out they were in the front row he was like I’m telling everybody” was so amazing. That insight and the whit to say that on the fly doing crowd work like that is such a testament to his ability as a comedian. I know he’s loved already by so many but he is still seriously so underrated. What an amazing and talented comedian he is.

The entire thing was a gag Andy pulled to entertain himself. That's the sort of comedian he was, always trying to make himself laugh. If other people found it funny, that was just icing on the cake.
