How funny we were trying to find a receipt to take our tumble Dryer back.....no luck so settled to by a new one then after seeing this video found the Red button.....runs like new you just saved us £200 plus ....Thank you.
Thank you, saved me a fortune, followed video and all worked a treat, ordered the parts from you just because of the CZcams video.....thanks again.
My Mrs loves you. Press the reset button! vent pipe was squashed so must have ended up over heating. left to run for a while before it heated up again. Thank you.
Excellent video, made changing my element very easy 👍
Another squashed vent hose & reset needed. Thanks very much for the tip & of course bookmarked your clip in case we need spares in the future.
THANK YOU JUST NEEDED RESETTING
Very helpful video, thank you.
I found that when removing the three centre screws the drum dropped down. This makes re-assembly very difficult. I had to remove the door and lay the machine on its front before I could get the drum back in place and the screws back on. Showing this stage in your video would have helped.
However, I thank you for your video, which otherwise was very helpful.
Hi I found your video very excellent help. I replaced the element and it heats up immediately. There was a burning smell when first turned on so I took apart and everything looked ok. No burning smell second try. Is this usual when replacing a heating element?
HI ,,,,can you help ? we replaced the heater ( one inner part no circuit ),,but we still have just warm air not hot ? t/tats checked...no blockage anywhere,,,,any advice please ,,
Hi what's the easiest way to find my part number, you didn't mention on the vid
I couldn't get the screws out that attach to the spider, I tried heating them in hopes of expansion but nothing and the screw heads are worn? any advice?

Hi i have this exact machine, the dryer does work but the temperature inside the drum doesn't seem to be very hot,yes it works and it is warm, but not red hot and on average takes 100 minutes to dry clothes and sometime i need to have it on longer.
Ive metered the element for continuity and that's fine, also checked the reset switch and sensor too BUT THERE is also another thermostat in the actual plastic unit where the pipe connects to underneath the machine, its located in the blower fan unit.
If this fails or goes faulty woud it make the temperature lower?, or would it simply not get hot at all?
Ive also checked the low and hi switch thats fine,so im a bit stuck if its the element , although it meters out ok,maybe worn out and not as hot as new OR its a faulty thermostat that is governing the hi temp.
I dont know if these small silver thermostats adjust the temperature or just cut out if overheating.
with the symptoms i stated what do you think it could be, thanks in advance, and thanks for the video, my exact model is a white knight 44aw 2500w
Hi my tumble dryer heats up but drum isn't moving.
Trying to find a White Knight C96AW Heat Exchanger Seal (Banjo Seal?) but having no luck. It's the seal at the bottom back. Anyone had any experience with this?
Hi there, is this the same procedure for a White Knight WK 447. Also I presume that the wiring colours have changed. Opened up my T/drier to find a red wire without spade connector dangling. It's from the heat control buttons on the front. I presume it goes to the heater element but not sure which connector to go on. Perhaps you can advise please.

hi i have continuity on both sides of my round element it looks abit deteriated but still has a circuit but my dryer is still not heating up any ideas please reply
I have this exact tumble dryer and I followed the video down to the letter but everytime I turn the tumble dryer on I hear a horrible crunching noise that sounds like metal scrapping against metal, ive taken it apart again and I cant find the problem! Help Please!!
Hi, my White Knight 44AW stopped working last week - I did a bit of research, and ordered a new timer. Fitted the timer and the good news is that the unit now fires into life - the bad news is that it doesnt warm up! I am a bit sceptical as to having two failures at the same time (timer and heating element) - btw I did try the red reset switch on the back before I started anything and that has not activated. Is my (new) problem likely to be the heating element or something else? thanks
its the element
@skattach I have the same problem. Did you find a solution? If so I'd really appreciate it if you could post it here. Cheers!
I'm having trouble removing the 3 screws that attach to the spider. Any suggestions please

So I have replaced the heating element thermostats and the start relay on my tumbler dryer but I'm still getting no heat even though it still works and is blowing cold air. What else could I check for ?? Many thanks for the video helped me loads
Chris Chalmers i need make and model but there might be anther stat at the front of dryer
It is the White Knight 44aw. I have got it to start heating up after i accidentally left it plugged in and electrocuted myself :S not the best thing to happen but hey ho its heating up. Only problem now is when clothing is added the inside is not heating up just getting warm. I check the back of the drum and it is hot to the touch, I have checked the air flow and it is perfect and the heater element is heating up fine so i'm now stumped as to why the clothing is not drying any advice would be great. thanks for getting back to me

Hello I have a question, for some reason after installing I can hear metal on metal rubbing I have checked and its not rubbing on the new element so do you have any ideas what it is ?
+nick black if not fitted back together correctly, the drum may be rubbing on back or the element brackets may be catching.
I am glad I could help you with this problem.

+nick black Hi, Did you ever get it running without the metal rubbing noise, I'm struggling to get the metal grinding to go, Dryer was silent before I replaced the elemt and I would say that I lined the drum up pretty square
I REPLACED this and switched on and was heating up but now the side and back of the dryer get burning hot when it is on, any ideas?

Hi I have a White Knight 44aw tumble dryer that keeps running cold I can reset it by using the reset button on the rear of the machine but after one session of drying I have to reset it again, could it be the thermostat?? I understand there are two theromstats do I need to have them both replaced of just the reset button one?? Can anyone be of any help Thanks
I'm having the same problem, did you ever sort it?
I fixed it by replacing the thermal cut out reset thermostat (the one with the red button)
hi, i have a white knight 427wl tumble dryer.
every time a turn it on the timer dont move and if i don't keep cheking it will work for hours.
can any one help me please?
this sounds like the timer you need to check the motor on it
had same problem...the timer dial sticks as its pushed in too tight...simple fix is to pull the dial out about 5mm this should release the tension...
accidently deleted photo of heater wiring sequence from my phone. Anyway I can get a picture to show re-wiring of my white knight model 44AW
