This video is on a tumble dryer that is not turning.
There are only really three reason for a tumble dryer drum not to spin.
- First one is a complete failure of the motor or the pcb;
- Second one is the capacitor failure;
- And third one is you hear the motor running but the drum does not turn, indicating a snapped belt.
A lot of our customers and CZcams viewers haves asked us how to change the belt on these tumble dryers, so we'll do just that even thou the belt on this machine is just fine as you'll see later in the footage.

The flexible PVC tube is for bathroom vent and illegal to use for dryer in the US and Canada, it's the main cause for most house fires. Use the solid aluminum vent pipe or semi-regid aluminum tube, $20 for 10 feet long.
Useful and interesting warning. Luckily, though, anyone in US or Canada who is replacing a hose is likely to assume that their aluminium one needs to replaced with the same type.

I watched this video and then went and replaced the old hose in my White Knight tumble dryer, easy enough to do. Only problem I had was the two screws at the front, I'll get it sorted eventually.

Gifted an old dryer but it needed a full clean and new venthose, been putting the job off when I realised it didn't just screw off at the back like I thought.
Only trouble now is I can't reach the caked on dust under the lint trap at the front, doesn't seem to be accessible from back without takign whole drum out. My hoover nozzle too wide, is that a case of ordering a special one online like the keyboard ones, or can I hack something at home?
Thinking pvc tubing, duct tape and a small spoon/similar to break it up?

Can I swap a 7 kg intergrated tumble dryer with a 3 kg bush dryer, will the vent pipe fit into the back of new dryer, is it the same size pls?

Is it my imagination or is the Croslee tube thicker than the one I bought on line? Crosslee comes in at about £15.
You did not say which part you brought you bought. Most of the tubes are the same fabric
