That is the coolest thing I’ve seen today
Me too!
you dont ever see any pipe organ video ? o.O that more cool :D
Your nick is awesome trompette, what a monstrosity would 32' chamade be :-D
Sounds like only chamade organ but without pipes
During my visit to germany's second largest organ museum I had the Incredible luck of playing a Claviorganum. The one I played on had no pedals but instead had the pipes as an aditional register so that you combined the timbre of the cembalo and the organ. It is a very unique instrument and I think it's potential should be further explored.
Does anybody can play there on it? Or in any instrument in museum?
its*
@@orangefruit9166i believe the museum in question is the orgel art museum in windedheim. It has over 80 instruments including some very rare things reconstruction of Renaissance and middle ages instruments. Apart of the forte pianos and clavichords you can play pretty much everything there. All organs atleast- if you ask that is. But the curator is very chill and there's few visitors so you can take your time there. I highly recommend it!
The claviorganum there is a copy of a late baroque English instrument which is basically a kirkman double manual harpsichord and a chest organ in one box plus some funny features
@melonenstrauch what is the name of the museum?
Regal Pipes blend marvelously with the as well sharped harpsichord timbre. Majestic even simple claviorgan under your hands!
When English composer Thomas Attwood visited Mozart in Vienna c. 21 July 1785 ‘I found him quite formally drest despite the heat but when I shook his hands was surpris’d to notice how cold they were…he was standing at his writing desk completing a Quartet - which later became one of the Set of 6 dedicated to Haydn; he had in his Study a Walter Klavier forte-piano with a string pedal attachment of 4-octaves (c to c’’) which serv’d as a second forte-piano…’. So it is vital that when performing Mozart’s sonatas & Klavier concerti that pedal attachments like these are used ‘to give depth of sound’ to the performance …
I've only ever seen pictures of Pedal Harpsichords. Delighted to hear and see one being played. Absolutely wonderful.
Wonderful command of your instrument. Thank you for sharing.
Wonderful instrument, beautifully played
If I had the money, this claviorganum would already be standing in my living room.
First time I’ve seen and heard such a thing. I’m very impressed! It seems that it would be easier to acquire one of those than an actual pedal harpsichord.
Amazing instrument and playing. Love it.
This was incredibly well coordenated! Wow
C'est absolument superbe. Merci !
Wow! I think I’m in love!
That is absolutely great!

Bass go buzz buzz
Excuse me, what piece are you playing?
Pachelbel, variation on Was Gott tut
Benjamin Åberg Thanks!
@Fliszt lmao
Fyi, the actual translation would be "What god does".
wow
Diese Version wurde hauptsächlich entworfen, damit die Herren Kantoren zuhause üben konnten, besonders im Winter.
Fun fact: this is guitar that found itself better as a piano.
I’m sold.
What is this amazing piece though? I want to learn it now!
Pachelbel
Thank you, do you have the name of this specific piece from pachelbel?
@@xathron908 It's the last variation of Was Gott tut, das ist wohlgetan. The pedelpart I have added myself..
@ thank you so much, the pedal parts sound amazing! Makes me want a pedal harpsichord now!

Sorry. I didn't noticed your question until now. It is still for sale. Please email me if you are still interested.
Is the pedal part still available, if not, what is the shallot type and scale of the pipes so I can buy one?
Please email me if you are interested in buying it. Benjamin.aaberg@gmail.com
@ Hej! Är den fortfarande till salu, och var finns den i så fall?
@@HenrikBergpianorganist jo det är den. I Skåne.
what’s the name of the song?
What mechanism is used in the pedal section?
Sorry. I don't really understand how to answer... It's mechanical action. Mechanism?
@ Is it also a plucking action - plectrums? Or something different.
@@sebastianmelmoth685 No, the pedelpart and the harpsichord is independent, you can only play the organ from the pedal
In short , keyboards work like on a harpsichord because it is a harpsichord AND the pedal works as a tracker action pedalboard because it is an organ . Keyboards are string instruments with plectrum , peadlboard is a wind instrument with wood pipes , a blower and the mechanical devices that goes from the pedalboard to the wood pipes .
The pedalboard use reed wood pipes like regal stop with short resonators.
Was that improv or a real peice
Pachelbel!
@ which Pachabel peice
@@SoggySandwich80 variation on Was Gott tut
Все красиво и здорово, но где басы настоящего педального клавесина
видимо это педаль с трубами, регистр органа. тоже очень интересный инструмент
Снимаю свой вопрос, как дилетантский
I wonder if Bach used this
Young Giuseppe Verdi had a spinetta modified with pedalboard for practice when he studied organ
Into Bach's age there was a clavichord with pedalboard for home practice and could was possible to add another string table for pedal.
Én áztat értem, hogy harpsichord,de mi hájcsá?!
Cofusion is in my mind/
this mf has this in his house??
Awful sound.....like all harpsichord. I agree with sir thomas!
