Benjamin Åberg, harpsichord
Instrument built by Andreas Kilström 2014.
Recorded at Bogesund castle January 2018 by Take5 Music Production
So fluid and smooth... No need for showing how fast it can be played. That's my kind of Scarlatti!
The bass notes on this harpsichord have an awesome twang to them
Absolutely excellent performance and excellent choice of venue that room has excellent acoustics for the harpsichord
Outstanding performance. Beautiful instrument and magical castle. ✌️🎹🎵
Overwhelmingly beautiful!
What a nice room for the music!
Superb playing! What an instrument that harpsichord is!
Very nice ornamentation!
Superb performance on a superb harpsichord made in the Italian way, probably suited for Scarlatti, although we do not know on which sort of instrument he was playing.

Incredible! I'd love to be in the room when you're playing it, the sound must be sensational.
Beautiful!
I love Scarlatti & this is doing him right.
It’s not actually, he’s not following Scarlatti’s specific hand crossing instructions.
Bellissima esecuzione con stile e gusto Benjamin. Congratulazioni! Spettacolare clavicembalo!
Absolutely wonderful performance!
Very sweet and beautiful. Thank you 🙂
Beautiful music, setting, and human.
Lovely, beautiful
Beautiful
Your Harpsichord sounds fantastic! great playing!
Wow! Nice work! Beautiful concert instrument too
Princess Maria had this genius Scarlatti as her teacher in residence!! What a beautiful and simple life at that time!!
Awesome 👏
How beautiful
Great performance and a beautiful instrument! What temperament is used?
Belíssimo
Bravo. Excellente interprétation.
Bravo!
Excellent playing of these acrobatic Sonatas written by Domenico Scarlatti especially for his talented student, the Queen of Spain.
I just listened to this piece again be for going to bed. Your nuanced playing is remarkable.
Do you ever come to play in the United States specifically in the Cambridge Boston Massachusetts area?
My first piano teacher had and played a small double manual Hubbard kit harpsichord in the early 1970s. That’s when I fell in love with the literature and the instrument.. Her allegiance was split between J.S. Bach and Scarlatti
You Mr. Berg ignite the keyboard in a rare way.
Thank you again.
I, too, hope you'll come to the Cambridge (Boston) area in the USA sometime!
One more vote for a visit to Boston or Cambridge! :-) You can see that we have a good potential audience here!
The best
Amazing performance, bravo! Exudes some Scott Ross stylistic ambience, too...
I must admit, I am a great fan of Scott Ross... ;)
@ Scott Ross was a great harpsichordist. And you are very good as well, I enjoyed your performace of this sonata, which reminds me of Spain and of flamenco dance.
thnx, it helps me in writing, myself. very well played ( what do i know...) i like it.
Nice!
Bravo❤
Awesome art. Congratulations and thanks for sharing
Underbart spel! Och en cembalo med fantastiskt fin klang!
Tack!
The style of your execution reminded me of Wanda Landowska's
I am doing homework to my music lesson and I must find some new elements, what Domenica Scarlattiho discovered in this music piece. Please help me somebody.
OMG i need help too! Someone please help us.
@@adelal.2496 btw its nice performance
@@anetanemcova9466 It is, but i really need to know it
Sorry, the instrument was made in 2014 and not in 2011. Otherwise great interpretation. The room with atmosphere and sonority just fine.
❤️💕💕
Чудова італійська музика! Це безсмертно!
wauw
you're a showboater! Do you have any cd recordings?

Pourquoi ne pas respecter les changements de mains exiger par le compositeur ???
Exactly, M left hand and D right hand!
