What could I use instead of the lower metal guides? Can I use wood to use as spacers? I have a 30w and looking for to trying mirrors. Thank you for your videos. Love them and watch the Laser Maker Realm channel too.

What len do you recommend when engraving this project?

@@LSEngraving I used a 300mm and it worked fine. Engraved a photograph of my sister and her husband. Turned out great after some tinkering but your settings were pretty close for me. Now the issue is that I have one huge mirror I want to engrave for her as a gift but that one has a grey/black backing and I don't have any small test mirrors. Should be interesting.
