GREAT job on the mirror, I hope I can get the same results from my xtool D1 10W. Where did you get the mirror? I've been using 12"x12" wall mirrors from Lowes to engrave (6 mirrors for under $14.00). But I've done all line work so far. I'll post my video of my first mirror. Have you found an easy way to back light the mirror? I saw a 10" led back light on alibaba, but I can't find it any longer. Thank You. PS- Your correct your wife is very beautiful.
Yes the backing comes in different colours. The one in this video is blue on the back. But if you are experimenting with different backings, you should do a speed and power test. I have a video for that if you would like to see it. czcams.com/video/SYebLyaSXY4/video.html
Thank you, it took about 3hours. I run the laser a bit slower than others, but if you speed it up and increase the power, you can knock it out much faster
Thank you
It is a pleasure
Turned out very nice indeed 😊. May have to give ImagR a try. Really liked the oval crop.
You won't be sorry. I love it and use it for all the portraits I do
Question: Why did you bother to process with imag-r but not select pass thru on the image layer?
Cos I did a test and tested both pass through and chucki and chucki was better
Well done 👍 great job , 1more sub🤗
Thank you, I appreciate it
Did you spray anything on the back of your mirror before you did the engraving?
No nothing. It is a glass mirror.
What size / type of laser do you have?
Hi, sorry for only answering now. I had a 5w ortur laser master 2

Share the link with me, I truly wish to watch it. And thank u for agreeing with me
Nice, show results please
Did you paint the mirror or is that just the backing that it's burning into. Also what wattage laser are you using
Hi, no it is the backing of the glass mirror. I have a 15W Ortur Laser Master 2
@@baldcnc_works very nice. Mirror backing is usually black. How is it white? I'm experimenting with white roll masking on glass. It looks the same

Is it the camera angle or are you closer than 35mm to the surface bud?
Yes the laser is about 8mm from the surface of the wood or mirror
Hey, just a quick questian. Do you repaint the back after?
No I do not. I think a chemical reaction happens that makes it black
Great job, how long did it take to engrave
Thank you, it took about 3hours. I run the laser a bit slower than others, but if you speed it up and increase the power, you can knock it out much faster
How long did take to finish?
It took about 3 hours. Diodes are very slow, especially the ones with lower power
Real mirror or acrylic mirror?
Glass mirror. Haven't tried acrylic mirror yet.
musak awful
