    Hello Alex, first thanks for sharing such good knowledge with us.
    I have been doing photo engraving in silver and gold (18k). In most cases I need to unmark "pixe power adjustment" for the silhouette, because if it is on, the engraving is very very light. And when I get to the final step (Photo finish) I need to fix the dpi (600x600) on Ezcad to make it work (without it, the engraving is also very light). I have tryed with many high resolution images (JPG and BMP) but I always need to set the dpi to get a aceptable result. Any toughts why I can´t do it in the way you taught in the video?

      @thebigone3868 I think you need to import his settings in ezcad. I think he fine tuned the pixel power settings, he mentioned he did in the video and he said he could do better if he played with it. So that list of power ratings , I think he increased those values on his list.

      The higher frequency range basically opens up some new marking options for you. With higher frequencies it's easier to mark plastics and anneal metals. Without getting to complex in the youtube comments that's more or less what it's good for. Hope that helps :) Feel free to join the discord for more info - there's a link in the description.

Copy all of the files out of that folder and store them in a safe place so you can put them back in later. Also make sure you work your way through all of your F3 Param settings and save screenshots of everything in case you need to reconfigure your system after the reinstallation.

    What will have result if set frequency to 50? Also Will any damage we have on laser device setting to frequency?

    • @LaserEverything
      @LaserEverything  Před 2 lety

      It depends on the laser source your machine has. Usually setting the frequency outside of the designated range will just result in the laser using it's closest possible option so if you have a laser that does 50 - 100khz and you try to use 25khz it will use 50. This is a little more advanced though so I'd check out the facebook group or discord server linked in the description and let us know what source you have in your machine and we can take a look.

      I have experimented with this just a little but it's never ended particularly well for me. I usually try to make laser marking raster images the absolute last thing that needs to be done when it's required. Still, I can see why you would want to figure this out. First thing I would do is make sure you're checking out the updated photo engraving guide, it's much more comprehensive and may aid you in your testing: czcams.com/video/EB40S6AEVwE/video.html

      Most of them should work fairly well for you. Do you know what lens you have? It makes a big difference. If you only have one lens it's usually good to get a few different sizes, I have a video on that you can watch it's on the main page of the channel. But with some decent size lenses like a 70 a 110 or a 150 the vast majority of the settings should work for you regardless of your source.
