- One question I get over and over again is, “do I need a sales funnel or website? And what’s even the difference?” Once you go down the digital marketing rabbit-hole - it can get really confusing and frustrating.
So I created a video to answer this question and eliminate any confusion. Good one Wes! What people don’t realize is that using Wordpress and elementor you can actually create a landing page that differentiates yourself from a typical click funnels page.
Amen! People are starting to tire of those Clickfunnels pages for sure. They just do nothing for your credibility as an actual business.

It’s all about value. You can offer value in a funnel or a website.
People are looking for answers, most people are not going to read your “about us” on your website.
With a funnel you can still build a relationship with a potential customer by using an email funnel.
I think a website vs funnel debate is pointless, what is most important is understanding your customer’s pain/problem and placing your company as the solution.
How you do that is simply based on preference and what works for your business.

This was really helpful Wes! I would like for people to download my free session of stress reduction music in exchange for their email adress. The follow up is the hardest part because when you're in stress reduction you want to be helpful and relaxed and can't be too salesy but on the other hand when they're buying new sessions it really helps them further. So that's where my challenge lies. Do you have any tips or planning new videos that go a bit more in depth strategically concerning following up in automated emails?

Good advice, short term transactional based tactics rarely have the customer's best interests at heart. Better to have the discipline and patience to work towards building content, providing value, engaging your audience, so that you can generate and capture the demand that exists in market.

Dude great video! I think funnels are just super hyped up right now with all the ads and because it’s just a “new way” and you know that most people just follow what everybody else does...
I remember that the first time I went through a funnel I thought it was a scam right away hahaha
I also think that if you are a famous person or highly known inside an industry, a funnel could be super effective to sell that one product, but for a small business that nobody knows, people might want to get more information about the company, for that they have to leave the funnel, go to Google and then will try to find your... (yes you guessed it right) WEBSITE! Hahaha or whatever else they can find on google like Yelp, social media and more.
As long as you lead people to the right place on your website with your ads, to exactly what they were looking for and you make it easy for them to buy, that’s pretty good already (I recommend anyone to actually learn sales and buyers psychology).
I would love to hear other people’s opinion about it too, please.
But If I could only choose one thing between a website and a funnel, it would be a website for sure. (To me, a website is the ultimate funnel)

For some reasons, I've been struggling to trust the funnel building software ADs that I constantly get. They're too salesy and 'pushy'. I also didn't think I understood their uniqueness. Now I feel an 'understanding' - Thanks to this video, Wes. My objective is a long term thing - and I am ready to put in the work using my website. I can always learn from 'them' and see how their services can be injected in my website. Thank you, Wes McDowell.

Great info! Didn't notice a tracking pixel integration with Click Funnels basic plan when looking on their site. I'd imagine they have that? If not, the decision to host on your own site becomes a no-brainer.
Not sure about the basic plan, but I'm sure they have pixel integration as a part of what they offer on at least the paid versions.

What I have done is I have created a google form which is basically an order form for my products. Run an ad of traffic and pasted the order form link on the website option. Results are incredible but I want to know will it work in the long term?
I've honestly never heard of that approach, if I'm being honest I don't know that I would feel comfortable placing an online order in such a manual way, but glad to hear its working for you!
It's a small investment to start an actual website, long term putting in the effort to build a brand is probably worthwhile!
Sales funnels are great but I think if you only look at it as a webpage you miss the bigger picture. It’s more than just the page itself!!
And to be honest I’m reeeeeeally not a fan of ClickFunnels haha.
