Great lessons! I am so glad I found you. I am getting back to playing after 9 years and you are helping me enormously. No teacher has ever explained things so well. Many thanks!

You are very welcome Bonnie! I am so glad these are helping you. Let me know if you have any specific issues and I'll make a video on that.

Thanks Bob! Are you working on this in your flute playing?

Yes- I work toward the extreme and then
refine it later by playing melodies in every key and all registers. It is the same as I do on saxophone. But it´s really good to see how a real flute player works on sound!

I like the idea of playing in all the keys. I do that too. Is sax your principal instrument?

@@DoctorFlute Yes, mostly tenor and soprano. But alto also. I have good alto concept from having played A LOT of big band with some of the best lead alto players of the time. I started playing everything in every key when i was 16 because that´s what the older guys told me to do. It just opens the sound universe up to
all the vibrations around us. And some things just sound more personal when I find
the key. Audiences can feel these differences also.

That was great advice whoever it was that gave it to you. I'm sure it helped you have facility in every key like nobodies business! Sounds like you have quite the career.
