They could of slapped the rom down on an emulator but instead they are giving it the effort it deserves. Really hope they don't skip a physical release on this one.
I doubt they'll be slapping gamecube emulators onto their console until they can make something powerful enough to play it.
@@mrsuperheatran2794 Mario 3D All Stars had no problem with emulation. Most phones can run GameCube these days.
@@mrsuperheatran2794Sunshine in 3D All-Stars is fully emulated and people have injected other games into that emulator with varying degrees of success. They probably could’ve done it if they wanted to. My guess is they’re saving GameCube and Wii emulation as an incentive to upgrade to the next console

I have seen so many clips from Super Paper Mario Thousand Year Door, but have never played it myself. But now I can! I am not new to loving Mario games, I had a wiiU growing up, but I think most older Mario fans would consider me to be a new gen fan
That’s awesome dude! I grew up with the Wii and Wii U so I haven’t gotten the chance to play the GameCube games and with the prices of some of the GameCube games today, I hardly pick up any. So I’m absolutely thrilled for this remake so I can finally play this gem of a game!

Something similar happened to me when one night I asked myself when Nintendo will do another paper Mario game and then the very next day the first trailer for paper Mario the origami king dropped

I want to know _exactly_ when in 2024 the game is coming out so that I can purchase the "double voucher" thing for both this and Super Mario RPG at a time when the second voucher won't expire before TTYD releases. (They last 12 months after you buy them, and I want to be _absolutely sure_ TTYD isn't dropping some time at the _end_ of the year to know if I time this right.)
This will be the first time I've ever played this game, and I'm honestly very excited for it. I've heard lots of great things about this game, and literally every time someone mentions paper mario, someone else brings up TTYD. I will finally get to experience all the hype for it, and I am SO ready for it.

We have waited far too long for this. 11 years since Sticker Trash ruined the series, 16 years since Super first changed the formula (but was still a good game), and 19 years after this masterpiece was first released. It’s been a long, painful journey, but at last, we have found the light at the end of the tunnel. Just one more year to go! 😭😭

i was thinking after SMRPG was announced 'this could be a gateway to getting more of the older RPGs back' and then I SEE A FUCKING DGR THUMBNAIL WITH TTYD IN IT LIKE TWO DAYS LATER (didn't actually know there was a direct so I didn't catch it live sadly but the flabbergasteredness was still very much present.
never played TTYD but i've heard good things about it so i'm looking forward to playing it. i DID play PM64 once but got bored of it around chapter 4 and stopped playing, hopefully this is better or i'm in a better mindset to see it through at least

Yeah I played all of the Paper Mario games except for TTYD. I really enjoyed Paper Mario 64, Super Paper Mario and even Origami King. But sadly I have to agree with the fact that Sticker Star and Color Splash (besides Color Splash’s writing) we’re not that good…

"Nobody likes the New Paper Mario games" even though Modern Paper mario does have a fanbase, they've never mattered I guess. Yeah I know they aren't as good as the first 3 but still.
