Anaya is teaching me so much about my role as a father. As my only daughter, she has required me to tap into a different energy within myself to meet her needs and help her become the best version of herself. The trouble is, though, that sometimes this pushes me to not be the best version of myself. Where I was strong and sturdy with my other two, I am soft with my daughter. I have a hard time saying no, and ultimately, this is a big part of what I need to do for her as a good father. I am learning from her how to help her center herself, even as she spins around in her favorite dress of the day
