Hope you guys enjoy the episode. For the record, I used products in the water-sheet vs water beading demo I knew were 1. Safe 2. Beaded like crazy...just to have some fun and spark conversation. I like products that bead as well. Feels super smooth to the touch. I love seeing them roll up my hood when driving in the rain. I just think that water sheeting gets a bad-rap and customers believe the paint must NOT have protection because its not beading, which we know is not true. (At least not anymore. That is an old way of thinking and it was valid at the time. But times have changed) I think have both beading and sheeting can be helpful based on your situation. For example, if you live in an apartment and parked out side all the time...and you had sprinklers next to your car. Then I would say SHEETING is the way to go to avoid the inevitable water-spotting. If you were only going to car shows and your car lived indoors all the time, them beading might be better because it feels super smooth. No right answer, just wanted to have a little fun. Hope you enjoy the video and I appreciate you watching! -Larry
I did thank you I've been watching you for about 4 years I really enjoy your stuff you are an amazing detail or thanks Larry. 😉👍🏻✌🏼
Larry, always appreciate how you add interesting content to your videos. You make your audience think outside the box so that they can make their own decisions and truly understand the lesson.
Great video Larry and really enjoy your content. Could beading water help carry away dust and dirt more than sheeting water while driving?
Hi Larry - Great videos as always 👌🏼
Any advice on maintaining the mtm foam canon after every wash. Anything particular to do.
Thanks
I just have to say making the new spit formula fluorescent is such a brilliant idea to protect from UV light. I think most traditional sunscreens absorb the light or reflect it so this is a really interesting take on it. Also if you do that with wax you can use the UV light to see when your wax needs to be reapplied. Brilliant!!!
The backstory is "McLaren called....." Anybody need any more proof that Larry is THE F'ING MAN?
@Jack Jonas LARRYYY, it's Ron Dennis on the phone
One of his newest Instagram posts says that Koenigsegg called, so that’s pretty cool too
When people ask me about beading vs sheeting I say this “you know when the random short spring/summer rain shower rolls through, you come out to your car and you have all those dirty circles left behind? That’s the downside to beading. Sheeting allows the water to run off along with the contamination.”
Quickest 20 minutes ever
That’s what she said.
Put out more content my guy, we need more!😁
2020...its coming
@@AMMO-NYC can't wait! thankyou for all this entertainment and knowledge :)
AMMO NYC ayyy! Update us on your porsche and audi!
Not gonna lie....I've been absent from watching your videos for a few months. I'm REALLY glad I came back to this video! I had taken for granted how informative your material is! Thanks Larry!
I feel like every time I watch one of Larry's videos that I'm getting a free masters class in whatever subject he's covering. I like how you always say to only use clay when it's absolutely necessary and not on a regular basis, you see to many detail channels where guys just do it for no real good reason other than a client has asked for it. Looking forward to some more videos in 2020!!
chilybil23 the thing is that any car that hasn’t ever seen a real detail in its life, it more than likely needs a clay since there are yeeeeaaars worth of bonded contaminants sitting on the it. Now if a car is maintained properly throughout its life it probably doesn’t need one. But it’s worth it to test first. Paint feel rough? Clay it. Smooth? Move along.
on this weeks episode: "Science & dieting with Larry"
lol
seeing him in a lab coat at the factory gave me a whole new appreciation
I love Larry’s analogies. Like this one of going to emergency room is same as claying the car and in another video he had mentioned about humectant in the shaving foam.
Top quality content man, love your videos.
Perfect timing after I bought a white 02 Forester a few weeks ago. Already got it AMMOd up inside & out ;)
Love the emergency room analogy I’ve seen almost every video and I hear it all the time and it still makes me smile regardless haha
I was born in L.A. and I was a car guy. For the last 20 years I've been living in NYC and I'm a subway guy. I miss cars so I come to CZcams for my fix. I love this channel and you've torn apart my old school ways of taking care of a car. I use to pull my car into the driveway and wash it using a garden hose and a little dishwashing soap and a rag. I never liked shammies so I would dry my car with an old bath towel. Every 6 months I would wax my car. For shine I would use Armor All on my tires and inside of the car on my dash. That's it. Every once in a while I would take my car to the car wash and power wash my engine too. I know, after seeing what you do here makes me hang my head low in shame.
This brings me to what I've discovered lately. Paint Protection Film (PPF) and Ceramic Coatings. Sorry...I didn't know they existed. Last night I discovered the ISM Kamikazee Coating. The Kamikazee looks revolutionary. Am I missing something here? You use it once every 3 years and you can clean your car with water only? Do you ever use Kamikazee or Ceramic Coatings to protect a car? Why or why not? I dream of someday being able to afford a concours winning '65 Mustang convertible and having it detailed by you. Your brain is insane. I love to watch you think. Thank you.
No one:
Larry: I'm gonna put cooking fats all over this 220k dollar car.
I like lard😂
Even better on a car.
yeah but McLaren called Larry, not a nobody.
Larry I've been watching your videos for a very long time. I work at a chevy dealership as a detailer, I use a lot of your techniques in my every day job aswell on my personal vehicles. When ever I train any new employee I always use your videos as a guide to give them the best knowledge in detailing. Keep putting out the great content!
"Both jars have a liquid that is the same color and same viscosity. One is my original spit."

You couldn’t have more interesting information or more entertainment in 20 minutes. That is one well edited well commentated video man!
Golly thanks so much for sharing this content. Big fan over the years.
I guess my favorite take-a-ways as a DIY guy - is more about learning the principles and basics - then working from them.
SUPER happy with results I've done working from the dynamics and understanding you've shared.
Much appreciated !!
Shine on you crazy diamond.
When a major manufacturer is calling you up to detail their car thats how you know youre the best.
On the next episode; I’ll be cutting my lawn with hand shears and a level.
Yet more great content... the AMMO standard. Loving the black/white paint details in particular so thanks for that element.
I'm not first because I always watch the full ad before Larry's video starts..
Guus Bouwmans wow I never read a comment like this. I really appreciate that. Seriously thx for that
@@AMMO-NYC Well you take hours if not (knowing you) weeks to make a high quality video. The least I can do is give up 30 seconds of my time to watch an ad.
“De-Poo & Spit”. Love it! Quality video & great explanations, Larry! 👍
Really like the vacuum cam!
I recently detailed the interior of my parents 2007 GMC Yukon Xl Denali that just hit 200k and my dad saw it and asked "where did I take it to?" and I laughed a bit and said the driveway with good cleaning products. Absolutely love the interior line and can't wait to try the new versions!
Even after all these episodes, I still LOVE that theme song!!!
Also happy to see you using clay bar with soap as lubricant. I have been doing that for several years.
larry is the true godfather of detailing.... i just love his slightli "nerdy" approach. (not meant negatively) keep doing this great stuff
Larry, you make some high quality content. Awesome!!
love the content, keeps me in loved with detiling, thanks Larry✌
I have a fever and the only cure for my fever is to watch Ammo .
Another great video, Larry!
you're back! and as mad as always. Love it!
I like how simple and straight forward you detail
Finally someone who get the importance of uv protection in detailing products! Good job Larry!
The minds of Larry Kosilla and Kevin Brown put together call for an amazing time. This is an awesome video, Larry!
I have put AMMO Products on my santa lists, so expensive once taxes and shipping costs are taken into consideration to the UK, please Larry i urge you to consider making it more cost effective to use your products in europe, i love you no more words left to say!!
Seconded - I wish he'd get a UK distributor.
Yeah tell me about it, i need hydrate more than anything
We feel the same way in Canada
Same problem here in Germany
Love that you’re always moving the game forward Larry! Great video as usual👍🏼👍🏼
Fantastic explanations as always! Car looked amazing and the new products look even better.
great teacher for those interested in detailing . been watching for years now thanks
The man is a PRO... look it up. Thanks for bringing us Larry, have a great holiday season and the best to you and your family in 2020.
u2!
absolutely brilliant content as always Larry
Super excited about the new products
"de poo the McLaren"....best quote of all time! You are a genius in general and your videos are so engrossing, thank you.
Great video Larry, your insight and depth of knowledge always blows me away.
Fabulous work!
Your reference/analogies are the best. Your videos are top notch!
As always, love your content.
Damn wish I could paint my 63' Chevy Nova white , like it and looks so clean when AMMO's done 👍
Favorite detailer on CZcams! Watched u for years!!!
Larry puts more info into a 20 minute video than anyone else. Well done young Jedi 😎
As usual a great video Larry, full of interesting analogies !!!
I can't beleive it, the polishing actually made the car clean and white! Wow thanks so much for that tip i never would've thought about this!
Great video Larry! As always!!
I see no mention of Reflex. Has this product been discontinued?
Also, I love the idea of a product that promotes sheeting. As others have said, decreasing water spots is a major "win".
I contacted Larry about 2 years ago asking him if he offered training? Looks like I’m not the only one who was asking. Can’t wait to see the tech center all finished up. I have total air compressor envy.
Another great video! You got me excited for the new products Larry! Also Happy holidays! - Paul
The beading vs sheeting portion is absolutely fascinating.
Awesome work 😍
This is awesome I have been waiting for some good videos on white paint!
Unlike other CZcamsrs, Larry explains how everything works instead of just showing us the results.
Thank you for the high quality and effort in your videos, I don’t do any detailing work but I still enjoy the video because I respect the work that has been put into it. Thank you.
Thank you for your Professional insight to detailing .Happy holidays
Larry love your videos!
We want more of them!!!!
Great tips. Thanks so much.
Its always nice seeing cars youve had a part in building being put into detail. the 570s is a lovely looking car
Brilliance...in subject and presentation!!! Thanks, Larry, for the video and developing new and better products.
This was a really excellent video, and I enjoyed watching all of it. I had to go back and see the insert shots since they pass by so quickly, but the editing of this video is superb and flawless. Your skills at making videos are improving to the quality of your skills at detailing an automobile.
Gotta say... I love your videos thanks for going in detail and breaking down your techniques for detailing
Another amazing video - as always! Thanks very much for it Larry! 🤩
Larry, as always, the thought, effort, time, blood and sweat going into these videos is just breathtaking. The quality and amount of information your audience recieves trough yourself is truly something to treasure.
To see you, as passionate as you are for your job, company, the brand you're creating, and the chemistry behind and the effect of your products strikes me deeply.
Especially the debate between Sheeting and Beading, which you so carefully laid out, I find really interesting and I would really love to learn more about. If possible, I would love for you to explain the benefits and downsides of both these effects, with some in-depth analysis, as you've shown before. I'm also very curious what is to become of your brand, especially on the above subject, since, like you said "Beading sells, that's a fact." Though in my opinion, it can most certainly do harm to one's car, in certain situations.
Again, I appreciate all you have done thus far very much and I wish that all the visions you have will play out exactly as you hope.
Bro one of the best CZcams videos I've EVER SEEN in my entire life
I saw one of your stickers on a white Camry in Bethel this morning
Good job Larry !
Appreciated always Larry
Great video Larry as always love the new name SPIT 😂👍
Great video Larry! can't wait to try the new formulas!
well another great detailing video from Larry. I wish i had a McLaren dealership calling me to detail their cars. I am looking forward to using the "new " products on my cars ,and in my detailing regiment. Great video Larry. Thank you
excellent as always 😎👍
Great info and video as always Larry! Wishing you and your family Happy Holidays!
As always LOVING the attention to detail ... Larry - have you thought of concocting something to clean and protect phone screens ? ;)
Thank You Larry. Excellent and Informative as always. The wife's Mercedes is white and ready for a session like this once again...Something strange. Of all our cars, I am always really super jazzed after detailing that one.
Always look forward to your videos!!!!!!!!!!!
17:55 damn that dude should’ve gotten himself detailed too!
that new enamel sounds awesome! Would help reduce water spots from rain when i can't wash it as often as i like.
These are so satisfying to watch. Thanks for your attention to detail. You've taught us a lot.
Awesome job
Great video as always. It was obvious whoever drives that car is not paying for it.
6:28 felt a little pain in both my knees too, now that you said it. Lol.
Squatting/crouching repeatedly everyday hurts the knees... And the back too... Ouch!
Take care of yourself Larry!
Great video!
I like sheeting cause it keeps the car dry easy. And beading creates more water spots. Havent really found a wax that sheets though. My car beads up like crazy rn and i have huge sized water spots on my hood in the shape of the beads that I get just from the rain. Also love ur channel. I been detailing for 4 years and i learn somthing new Every day from you (: I also learned mist of my tricks from you too. Your awesome.
Love your videos how much detail you go into top work as always
Quality video as always
I like your loose analogy EMERGENCY ROOM (ER) for using the claybar
One of the absolute most beautiful videos I have watched in my entire life!
Another great informative video ,thanks again Larry for all the great videos i learned so much and im so greatful for all the time you take to help all us car lovers .
Real fans know he loves the ER analogy 💯
Dude your over a million subs now, that’s awesome!! Great video as always bro!!
Simply awesome.
"de-poo" lmao
Larry, you are the man.
