• The Number One Health ...
Dr. Udo Erasmus discusses the decline in omega-3 consumption since 1850 and its impact on health. He highlights various sources of omega-3, noting their scarcity in modern diets due to changes in agricultural practices. Erasmus also explores the rarity of omega-3 in nature, attributing it to climate factors and evolutionary biology. He challenges the notion that nature optimizes for health, emphasizing survival over longevity.
The conversation delves into the rising obesity rates, citing inflammation and overeating as primary causes. Erasmus explains the role of omega-3 in combating inflammation and promoting overall health, shedding light on its unique properties as both a fuel source and an antioxidant. The dialogue offers insights into dietary patterns and their profound effects on human health and well-being.

Processed food products and sedentary lifestyles.
Yes, but what about processed foods cause obesity?
@@matthewdancz9152 High sodium, sugar, artificial ingredients, and seed oils. Low micronutrients and fiber.
Be careful of the bleached flour or the seed oils, that would make you gain more weight
I lost over 100 pounds after Nicole Arbor's "Dear Fat People " video in what started as an effort to prove that medical issues matter. I found out that the great majority of them... don't. I gained nearly 60 of those pounds back while relying on my local food bank during the pandemic. We were given cases of boxes of individually wrapped pastries, dozens of caramel covered apples, packages of cookies, cakes, and cookie and cake mixes, just to name the worst. I have so many cake mixes that I could make all 17 of my nieces and nephew's next birthday cakes, and I still won't run out. The situation has cemented my determination to grow as much food as I can on my 1/4 acre, including chickens and rabbits. I hope to encourage my neighbors to grow their own food, as well as to help me fix our broken food bank.
teach people to carry their own water if you want them to be free and prosper.
This is awesome. Glad to see something positive can come from Nicole.
@@coolroy4300 I can't do it all, why don't you teach them? My first thought at your comment was that you meant wearing stillsuits like the freman, so I doubt I'm the best teacher on that subject. 😆
@@SnifferSock Yeah, that b!**h really opened my eyes. I would love to thank her in person one day. I hated that video, but I'll recommend others watch it because she isn't lying. She sucks for putting it the way she did, but sometimes you have to trigger people into change. 😫😆

That's cool my friend.
Even if I don't get it lol
Rock on ! 👍
Terrible foods and laziness.
People in 1850 worked like sled dogs. Try following a moldboard plow sometime.
And eating all day long was unthinkable.
Cars, office jobs, and the subsidization of corn and sugar.
Every young child and teen is dying to get their parents to buy them either an electric bike, scooter, or moped. That's going to make child obesity even worse. It's not cool to pedal bikes as a kid now.
At this point i'd be happy if they got outside and off their screens indoors.
Industrial grade ultra processed "food"
Great video Zuby. Now, maybe do a deep dive episode on the effects caused by Proctor and Gamble, Post, Kellogg, and Ancel Keys.
Doing videos about particular brands would end in a lawsuit.
@@raynarks Hardly,,,,, there are infinite videos and studies done on all of the miscreants and their negative impact on humanity.
Thanks for calling out the lifespan BS. He has some good info and ruins it with ideas like"grandparents don't matter to Nature".
Great video!
Thanks!
@@ZubyMusic patients with congestive heart failure can retain massive amounts of fluid, especially in their legs. They are given diuretic drugs to help them urinate the the fluid out of their body... Decreasing inflammation is never discussed to help combat the fluid retention. Exercise is also not a priority even though movement in the lower extremities aides the blood vessels in returning the fluid to the heart. If movement & combatting inflammation were emphasized we could rely less on diuretic drugs (but this wouldn't be as profitable for hospitals and pharmaceutical companies).
Awesome episode
Overeating engineered foods .
Cut out seed oils
He literally said the opposite
This guy totally missed the necessity of enough protein to build tissue and enough saturated fat to regulate hormones. The best sources of these are animal products
We sit and stew in our stress 🤔💭…. He just said a mouthful right there👍🏿🔥
Eat seafood for omega 3s, for all nutritional deficiencies. Seafood is a key part of the ancestral diet. Doing anything else is mental.
Potatoes and fish. In theory you can live off only those 2 foods. (assuming healthy soil/water)
Two words: food pyramid
I think testosterone is one important variable! I have also heard that specific oils can lessen the feeling of being full when you are supposed to so you keep eating until you physically can´t eat more!
Lack of iodine affecting thyroid this causing hormone imbalances.
Yeah, the soy in the standard American diet doesn't have anything to do with the damage to our thyroid glands.
Food is too good and too cheap. I'm not obese but Culver butter burgers keep me from being shredded.
I'm on the, put the fork down diet. Losing weight the old fashion way, by starving myself. As long I call it "fasting", though, people are more accepting.
You really don't even have to do that. Just control your portions and such that your intake is about 500 calories/day less than what you should for your weight. Adjust that as you lose weight until you get to your target. That way you're not sitting there miserable in some kind of self-imposed penalty box and you can sustain it for the rest of your life. You'll lose a pound or two a week doing that. I've lost and gained weight using variations of that and it works.
@WSKRBSCT Thats good advice! Also incorporate exercise, even 15 minutes a day is sufficient. Get your body moving, and your heart rate up!!!
This loses muscle weight. Try high protein foods.
Unnatural Fructose sugars....
Yeas, kicking on "The fat people" angel. Fresh.
This guy is absolutely clueless
A vegan I'm guessing...I couldn't get past three minutes of horseshit
70% BS
whatever....i'm out
