When a DM lets player actions hurt his personal feelings, he's a bad DM and the player should look for a different group. Unless the DM ask the players out of character to not interrupt him.
A player who suffers from such extreme "LOOK AT ME" spotlight syndrome that they interrupt every time the DM is talking is only a detriment to the game.
@@Terralventhenah. If you're a DM you're not there to tell a story, you're there to facilitate one. In some stories, the protagonists don't stand around listening to the villain monologue. If you can't handle when things don't go as you want. Don't DM. Don't play ttrpgs at all frankly.
Womp womp. It is completely logical to interrupt any monologe if said person is an enemy and has anything of value (in contrast to the surprise round) to say. Let players play
The DM is there to have fun too. He's not there to do just some service. Interrupting a monologue a DM probably prepared and excited to use kind of as a kick in the balls.
@@ZeddTheGeneral womp womp. Then the máster should either Talk with their players to know why they don't want to wait for the speech or just don't allow actions before the end and stablish It as an actual home-rule, not letting the action in and avoiding then being the pettiest of the table out of spite
The tone shift of the second ask felt way more personal lmao
sounds like he speaks from personal experience
This is an oof situation
This is shitty DM behaviour. However much damage he said, I would just say I have more health. The deal is broken, all rules are out

The DM is a part of the cooperative experience. Just be decent.
Not interrupting someone should be common sense.
I disagree if players don’t respect any boundries or expectations that have been communicated that is not the dms fault if they feel wronged

HAHAHAH this THIS is what we should do with all the DnD "speedrunners" 😂😂
