This was an Outstanding series of videos on your motorcycling adventures in Norway and Sweden. I enjoyed each video immensely and have shown the videos to several riding friends.
What an elegant conclusion - and with a micro launch of a mega tour! 👌👍😊
Thank you Jeremy 😃 It was hard knowing how to end this journey on screen, I'm glad you liked it 😊
Parabéns Runa, um merecido descanso. Estaremos aqui na próxima aventura.
Great series, love the honesty and giving the sense we are almost with you on the trip. Captures motorcycle touring very well 😁👏 great work 👌👍
Everybody from Europe is trying to escape the rat race to Sweden and Norway. " Ice cream, you scream, we all scream for Ice Cream." A song or rhyme I remember as a kid. I like the Thunder and Lightning, too, kind of a sound and light show, but growing up in the central US, because there were so many tornados associated with thunderstorms, they call that area "Tornado Alley." It's Mother Nature's way of reminding you who's boss. Many nice supreme views in your videos. Something was calling you home, some tether or heartstring, said it's time.
You are doing so amazing videos Runa. The conclusion of the trip was really fantastic. I miss every moment of following you on your ride. I can understand that feeling you felt in Denmark. I use to say that for me there’s a point where the journey ends and I’m starting to ride home. In some way it feels like the adventure is over and I want to get home as soon as possible.
In my trip in Norway summer 2022 that point was Lysebotn. Until I reached Lysebotn I where on a fantastic journey in Norway. Down in Lysebotn everything turned over, I have reached the “end of the world” and the end of my trip and I wanted to go back home as fast as possible. Thanks to a tips from you I found a great camping place in Seljord and got an amazing last night on my trip. After Seljord i headed directly home and worked for one week and also meet up with Andreas. A couple of weeks later I was back in next adventure in Norway and had once again an awesome journey along the Norwegian TET.
I really looking forward to follow you on your next adventure and many more adventures after that 🫶🇳🇴
Thank you, Jonas! 😊 I'm glad you like them. It was a good time going through all the video and pictures form my trip - so many memories and good times already forgotten!
I'm glad you can relate to the feeling of all of a sudden being done on the trip - once that feeling hits I'm not sure if there is any way to recover from it 😂 Can't wait to share my journey in NZ soon! 🥳
@@OffSheGoesADV No at least for me the only way is to return home and go on a new adventure. It doesn’t have to be a long time at home, but a new journey when i’m ready.
It’s like CPR you can achieve circulation with CPR, but you need ROSC so that the heart are able to circulate the blood by it self. 🤔
I believe that for you that are doing it full time, it’s extra important to follow your inner “compass” and really do what’s feels best for you and don’t loose your self along the way.
I shall always remember and re-visit your journey through coastal northern Norway, some of the most beautiful scenery I’ve ever seen 🙏
Biz de seninle birlikte gezdik Runa, teşekkür ederiz. Tekerine taş değmesin. yeni zelanda'yı gezelim bakalım. Selamlar👋👋
You can't peel me off the Passenger seat... let's go!
Finns få saker som slår naturen man upplever när man kör i Norge. Tröttnar aldrig på mitt andra hemland. Tack för en fin serie, ser fram i mot nästa äventyr.
Chapeau Runa, chapeau. The weather, scenery, roads, people, camping, adventures all captured beautifully.
I have, by now, come to the conclusion that Norway must be the most beautiful place on Earth. But, I can't think of a better follow-up than a tour of New Zealand during their summer (as I now watch snow falling outside).
Temperature 31c today, mid east coast South Island NZ. Up to 800mm of rain on the West Coast.
Hello, so i found your YT Channel from a video comparing You & Itchy Boots. & watching THIS video i had to subscribe, so now i have alot if your videos to watch & catch up as i did with Itchy Boots. You & Itchy Boots are very Strong women with souls filled with Challenging Adventures, can't wait to watch your upcoming videos.

New Zealand! I have a DVD of Billy Connolly’s travels there (on his trike) and it’s spectacular 👍
Wow what a tour 😊 thanks for this video 😊
beautiful video hug from Mozambique Africa.
>>Smiling eyes
Great episodes of Norway Runa, can’t wait to see them of New Zealand🤩👌🏼
Well done Runa! I would love to meet you when you come to NZ and perhaps share some interesting roads - do let me know,
Another beautiful video, another thanks for taking us along.
Runa, I can’t really express how wonderful it’s been to share this journey with you! I am so impressed with your film making, your editing, your storytelling. Well done, very well done. I’m sure Norway will experience a huge jump in tourism next year because of you!
New Zealand next, the islands I always wanted to go to but never reached due to work committments. so I'll sit back and enjoy what our Runa has in stock for us . Skol Runa!!
Awesome video. The scenery is spectacular. Very well done. Ride on. 🏍️
Very nice 😍👍👍 Thank you very much Runa for sharing this, which we always watch with great pleasure. You deserve one more ice cream 🍧😋😂
Funny how true this is. When I get on the road and feel the wind and freedom I feel so excited. After the first day I really miss my sons and my own bed 😢 maybe one day I will find someone who enjoys adventure riding as much as me and we can do it together 😅 maybe then I won't be so home sick when I get on the road.
Thank you for traveling with you and your motorbike (I have a Norden too). Beautiful videos!
I fully understand that homesick blues can strike down on you after quite a long séjour away from home. Don't feel bad about it, see it like a reconnaissance mission: The next time you have a better idea about the areas you want to explore more and that might contain interesting nature/scenery etc. I do that a lot when I'm out photographing birds. Stop at a place I haven't checked out before, just to get an idea if it could be worth a re-visit at another time of year and so on.
I could probably have tethered your Husqvarna to the back of my car and dragged you around in Skåne for an entire month to show you things and places you wouldn't have imagined in this flat part of southern Sweden. Like cliffs and caves in Kullaberg, billowing leaves on hills in Söderåsen, Ven, Skanör/Falsterbo and the seals and birdlife there, Österlen and the apple blossoms in late spring, or the unique geographic formation in Vik, that not even Noraly visited while she was in Sweden.
[EDIT]: just tidying up me own mess...
Thank you, Jonas! And you are so right 😊 So many lessons learned through this trip that I can take to make the next experience even better. There is so much to see everywhere if you know where to look - there is not enough time in the world to see all of it. But I'll make the best of it 😃
And I can't wait for NZ - it looks like an incredible combination of all my favorite places so far, and I'm prepared that 1 month will not be nearly enough time.
Congratulations on a season full of awesome scenery and new friends. This is your journey and you are the author and director of it. Therefore you are the one person to make the call when it begins and ends. I myself have called a journeys end before The planed ending, and you better believe that it is okay! Thank you so very much for sharing your country with the rest of us, who can only dream of such astonishing scenery’s.
I’m looking forward to Newzeland, let’s find out what’s there.
I wish we can see you as soon as possible. Be happy.
Your best Season yet!! You've sold me on a summer trip through Scandinavia. Thank you so much for all your hard work.
Great to hear you're coming down to my country Runa. Let me know if you need any help or advice for your adventures here. The North and South islands are quite different to each other and beautiful in their own unique ways. Skal to your new travels!
Thank you! That's very kind of you 😊 Your country looks like a bikers paradise - so much diversity! Can't wait!
.. and skål, indeed 😁🍻
wonderful road-trip ! Thank you for taking us along!! I’m looking forward to your next trip !! Have a good rest from this trip Runa !!!
Runa, you could've included a short trip in Germany too. Riding the eastern part of Danish TET, taking the ferry to Germany, then riding the German TET to the Danish border and riding the western part of Danish TET.
This has been a great series to watch ,and I'm pleased you knew when it was time to go home . Jonas suggested New Zealand might your next trip . You will love it here . I also wonder if your Husky sponsorship would allow a dealer over here to loan you a bike .Would be worth speaking to your contacts about that possibility . If it would be helpful to travel in the North Island ,I would be willing to offer you my 2013 low chassis R1200GS to use . The small town where I i live, is about an hour and a half south of Auckland .
Thank you Graham! 😊 Yeah, I've been talking for NZ for quite some time now so it feels fantastic to finally have the ticket booked 🥳 Husqvarna Scandinavia have done a great job, teaming up with Husqvarna NZ and they have a Norden 901 ready for me! But still, thank you so much for your kind offer - I'm honored you would trust your bike with me 😊
@@OffSheGoesADV I'm so delighted Husqvana NZ will provide a bike for you, Runa .The arrangement benefits everyone, and it could be the first time they have done this for anyone . As you're a VIP, Runa ,I hope a Red Carpet is rolled out for you on arrival !.
@@grhmnz4648 wow, I didn’t know I might be the first. I feel honored 😃
Such fun to follow you on your trip. Safe travels home. Top tip for Denmark: throughout the country you will find free of charge shelters/3-wall cabins in luxurious spots. Skov og Naturstyrelsens homepage for reference. Could have given you a drier night around Middelfart.
Already looking forward to visit New Zealand through your eyes!
Awesome Awesome Awesome. Thank you so much
Excellent. Really enjoyed that series. Now you’re coming to my country, New Zealand. So happy to see that and can’t wait to catch your videos.
Beautiful job doing all these videos. All the work editing and adding music has been well worth while. 🫡🫡🫡🇬🇧
Love your style especially tenting in thunderstorms!
Thanks for bringing us with you ✌️
And thank you for following along! 😃
cool vlog, looking forward to your NZ adventure!
What a relaxing video to watch Runa, really itches my brain in all the right places. Some of those patches in Denmark even looked a lot like some in the Netherlands.. "Dude!? *Looks* Yeah you!" got me 😂 And I can relate SO much to your decision to call it quits for this trip. I had the same in France and Swiss in a way. No excuses needed and many will understand! Thanks for your honesty 🤗
Thank you, Leonoor! 🥰 It's nice to hear that many can relate to this. You can't force joy on the road. Better to go home, charge up, and head out again!
Very much looking forward to your trip in New Zealand 👍🏼
I watch all of your videos, and the content you create is truly captivating. I feel as though I am part of the journey with you on the bike. I'd like to inquire about the timing of this particular video- it doesn't appear to be a recent shoot, given the current freezing cold weather. Keep producing fantastic videos!
Hi there and thank you for your kind comment! 😊 I put the date of recording in both the video, and video description. This was in July last year 😊
Sonofagun. You're here (in NZ) or coming. Hopefully not yet as the weather's been tropical, hot wet & muggy. Feb Mar generally more settled. Kia ora Norwegian traveller. Welcome to New Zealand 🙂
Tack för allt du visat oss, ser fram emot att så småningom få "följa med" på nästa äventyr.
Thanks for the pictures.
Thanks for the stories.
Thanks for the journey.
This was an amazing adventure and you lasted a lot longer than I ever would have. Thanks for all the hard work putting the videos together! Cheers and looking forward to seeing NZ!
You do some damn fine videography with some excellent music edited in with the scenery. With many years of American motorcycling under my belt, I notice that the motorcyclists in Europe tend to park front tire first in parking spaces, while we here in America, almost exclusively back into our parking space. Interesting differences....
Intressant det du berättar om hur du blir mätt på att resa och vill hem så hastigt! Det är likadant för mig och jag har inte hört om någon annan som känner så. Kul när man känner igen sig i andras känslor 🙂
Your trip was epic! Thank you for sharing your wonderful adventure!
Thanks a lot for letting us tag along on this wonderful journey of yours through Scandinavia, Runa! Fantastic sceneries (especially in Norway - I am absolutely not biased 🤣), fabulous weather, great storytelling and editing!
I wish you a great trip to New Zealand! I was there for 4 weeks way back in 1992 myself. (visited relatives). Did not do any motorcycle riding, but it is just a fantastic country. Make sure you cover both islands, they are so different.
If your itinerary is not all set or it is flexible I would recommend you considering a stop at the Cook Islands. Look up photos/videos from Aitutaki and understand what I mean.
Thank you for following along, Tor! 😃 Can't wait ti explore both north and south island in NZ! Thank you for the tip, I will check that out. A always, my schedule and planning is very lose 😂
Simply superb...Really feel good videos..Scandinavian countries.. my dream. Lots of best wishes from India.
Bravissima, e che conclusione elegante😊. Buon viaggio per il prossimo itinerario, ti seguiremo sempre😊😊
Great series. Really enjoyed your travels. Thank you for sharing
This was an awesome series... It was a good decision to just rev it back to Norway. You know Denmark and sometimes even Sweden has like a little boring roads. (That's why all Swedish bikers go to Norway.) Big thanks for this really great journey, with awesome editing and nice music!!!
Such beautiful countries. Thanks for sharing.
Un fuerte abrazó desde Perú ❤
Thank you for bringing me along on your journey have enjoyed it Will wait for your next adventure I’m sure it will be epic
I was born in Denmark. I was sad that you spent so very little time there. There are so many beautiful things to see you missed Copenhagen. And the famous Tivoli Gardens.
Luckily Denmark is not going anywhere, and I can go back on a different occasion 😊
❤❤❤ thank you so much, Runa, for all the wonderful videos. It was a great pleasure to share your adventures, when I can't do it myself. Good luck on your next adventures and be careful. ❤❤❤ And I look forward to more amazing videos
Thank you Runa, I enjoyed watching your adventures through Scandinavia, I’m looking forward to the next one.

❤ This is definitely a tour i want to do as well with my bike. Even if it's not a little bit usable for offroading 😂
Thank you for the beautiful journey we were able to experience, through your nice videos. This summer I am going to visit many beautiful and interesting places across Norway. It will be a tour of Norway, Sweden and Finland. And then on to the Baltic states and Poland. Then slowly return home to the Netherlands!
Wow what a trip! Have fun, and I hope the weather is on your side 😃
Awesome trip!!

I have to say I don’t recognize that feeling of “now I’ve had enough “ 😅 I just want to keep going.

Amazing Vlog❤
What an amazing tour😍🙌.
Thank you for taking us along on your spectacular journey, what an incredible trip you’ve shared with us all, your what touring on two wheels is about, gracious host you’ve been, ever so glad I discovered you, your personality is truly remarkable even in tough times out on the road. Thank you ever so much for all, I’m sure others would gladly say, we will be anxiously waiting on your next ride. Take care, and many many thanks. Rob from U.S.
Lovely conclusion to an excellent series of films, thanks for sharing your travels.
I see from the map that your home is relatively close to Stavanger. I attended a deep dive training course in Sandness a little way out of Stavanger way back in 1990 and prior to that our dive vessels often came into Stavanger for crew changes etc. when I worked as a commercial air diver in the various northern sectors of the North Sea. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to explore very much of Norway at that time, save for the inside of multiple bars in and around Stavanger, but did venture further north as a teenager many years before, walking and camping, travelling by train as far as Narvik.
After many years I have returned to motorcycling at the grand old age of 70 and hope to do a few miles before I check out. Perhaps I’ll manage to emulate some of your trips.
I look forward to your next adventures. 👍
Thanks for taking me along on your adventure Runa! I'll be waiting for New Zealand. See you then!
Great trip, thanks for sharing with us.
Very big thanks for taking us with you to see different places we never go .
