- Today I'm unboxing , reviewing and assembling a brand NEW 2024 Husqvarna Norden 901 Expedition. From getting it out the crate , to mounting all the extra parts , talking about some new things like the usb connector. First start and ride as well. I did forgot to talk about the adjustable traction control update on this one. Make it easier to slide all over the place.

I have an Expedition since middle march and 21.000 km on her and I love her. Main issue is the engine heat. I did a 16.000 km review in my channel.
Remove the cat or heat wrap around the exhaust should be a life saver I have been told 😌

I'm drooling like a fool. That is The best looking adventure motorcycle! Still tall and not much lighter than my GS1200 adventure.. THE HUSQVARNA IS THE MOST RALLY BIKE LOOK ALIKE😂 with a vanity mirror

That is one hell of a beauty and the mickey mouse mirrors actually fit with it due to the round shape design of the front light. 😏

Apart from the front headlight and the mirrors, I think the bike is cool. 😎👍
Got mine back in May '23 and am loving it. Only gripe so far has been the windshield. I'm 6 foot tall and I think it is a tad too tall. Oh and get rid of the factory bags unless you're not going to carry anything in them. They don't hold up to much weight. I think the manual says 7lbs. Seen lots of videos and reviews about torn seams on the bags.
And it is spanish aluminiun, not Austrian steel. Really nicely made

Love the look! Great colour and graphics. One of the best looking adv bikes. Unfortunately there is no Husqvarna motorcycle dealer within 1000km of where I live. Sticking with my GS. Love the videos Smokey 👍. You crack me up. The smelling everything is a little disturbing 😮. Anyway, please stay away from forklifts. And maybe check out Ritalin 😂

Mine isn't here yet (hopefully next couple of days) Real interesting to see this. Bet you I will have to undo my rockgaurd & turn the saddle tank spacers around. (They look like they could use a dab of hot glue, just to make sure) We'll see.

Love the looks and stance of the bike. Very handsome. But not sure if I can handle the sound of that engine. It sounds like a bag of loose nuts and bolts in a dryer. I also heard complaints about excessive engine heat. It’s so good otherwise.
Yep engine heat is high on this one....in winter it's perfect! In summer it's bad I know. Heatwrap on the exhaust pipes should do the trick I have been told

No thx motorcycles are in "transport mode" that can only be unlocked by the dealer. So the bike does not start 😌

In winter all press motorcycles get sold so I'm a bit out of job. Also nobody buying motorcycles so not much gets delivered 😂. Jan-Feb next year the new stuff will be coming in hot! So got a lot of work coming , I was just wondering if people would be interested in seeing new bikes unboxed. Nobody is doing this so I was like....yup that's my thing now haha

Skipped the part where the rear of the bash plate gets bolted in! Most difficult bash plate I have ever installed and needed a scissor jack in the end to get the rear bolt holes to line up
I didn't record that....but we did something similar and jacket it up to 😂

Pretty sure they didn't make much changes to reduce costs so guessing it will work 😁
My 2009 bandit has hazard warning lights
that skid plate is the size of the one on my Tacoma, this is no off-road bike. maybe fire roads but no real off-roading. Absolutely monster size. Also made in China

One quick question - do you happen to ride a bit after these unboxing?
I’ve been curious about 901 for a while. For 80-100mph (130-160kmh) highway run, does this work sufficient? How about 901(890?) with stock tires vs SAR1290R with 50:50 tire(Anarchy adventure/Bridgestone A41)?
These bikes don't have license plats just yet so only ride it next to the building.
All the 890/901's can do highway very well. The 1290 adventure is just an overpowered monster 😁

After all these bikes, it looks you still keep SAR1290 as the personal choice. This kind of convinces me to get one. (Will get SAR very soon despite I’m mostly on-road and desert rider.)
Yep , I have not found something as fun and crazy as my 1290 SAR 😁. That LC8 engine , the amount of torque , how easy and light it feels when it starts riding and the straight up position is just so good.
I think you’re funny , but why wouldn’t you guys use the lifts that are available in the background?

Yeah you have a lowered seat and lowered suspension but it's a really high bike for sure stock 🙈

No , many brands do not have press fleet motorcycles anymore and not releasing anything new because of winter. Nobody is unboxing these new bikes so it's a bit of a side video series I'm creating now. Instead of boring static reviews , I will review a bike while unboxing. Later on I will take it out for a ride 😌

IF....I'm correct the normal one is grey , the expedition is blue. They now have 4 indicator button and upgrade traction control/slip adjuster for offroading. 😎
