  • These TFS-R heads ware legendary in the Ford and Foxbody racing world. You had to have deep pockets and be dedicated enough to run them as they required a lot more unique supporting hardware vs your standard sets of heads. But if you had all that going on back in the day you were most likely had one of the baddest cars at the track or on the street.
I pull apart this old school set of heads to see what's all going on with them before they get used on a new engine build. It turns out that whomever set them up in the past... to put it kindly was pretty lousy at their job.
I'm no high end race shop, but even in my little garage I can turn out some quality items. It just takes attention to detail, some good parts, and some special tooling.
If you have any questions or suggestions, please leave a comment.

Hoooker 6223hkr are the longtubes to find. We stopped making them last year but there are many sets out there. They are fox specific.

Thanks. We are gong with a set from Stainless Works (without the cats). I called Kooks and was ready to buy a set from them but they said they no longer sell the ones with the 2.75" bolt spacing as apparently the new R heads use a 3" bolt spacing now. All the while I was on hold with customer support and their tech department the automated on-hold background advertisement was touting Kooks ability to custom make any header or exhaust that I could dream up. But they would not make a set of headers that they discontinued making not even 1-2 years ago. I challenged their customer support and the tech people with that fact and their reply was basically, "sorry, tough doo doo'. These old headers don't make money so they have moved on to Coyote and LS swap stuff and the headers that spawned their business have been all but forgotten. Unreal.

Sadly many companies are dropping them and not making parts while claiming their target is for classic cars and show a fox in the picture. EPA really hit a lot of people because of specific fit remember that term. Do you have any way of direct contact ? And time difference I'm eastern time zone.
