    • @YokaiX
      @YokaiX Před rokem +52

      Cuz the main films involve main characters who are war heros of the Rebel Alliance, some of which have space sorcery. This movie is about lesser known Rebel war heros that often involved themselves with underground or t3rr0r15t cells, of the Rebellion. A lot more gritty and grounded.

    • @safe-keeper1042

      Also, it felt incredibly good to see the Empire actually kick butt. They should be this huge and menacing force you can hit only in targetted raids, and which the rest of the time you have to hide and run from. The rebels take some terrible losses in this film, as they should given the force disrepancy.

    I gotta say, I’ve plenty of Star Wars battle but this one is unsettlingly familiar and nuts. Battles we usually see are in open nowhere but this is crowded with innocent bystanders who can get hurt or killed in the crossfire. Also for the soldiers, especially ones being ambushed, are in cramped spaces and can get off guard and can’t focus since the shooting coming from almost every direction.

    The reason this scene is so memorable is because the tactics used by the Rebel cell here is so uncomfortably similar to real life "terrorists"

      They seem more reckless here than evil. Although starting this shoot-out in the middle of a city would scare people and possibly kill non-combatants this technically isn't terrorism since the violence is directed towards a military transport and not solely targeted towards civilians.
      However, in a war crimes trial Saw Gerrera could possibly be held liable for the collateral damage in which he would have to prove that the tactical advantage gained by attacking the Stormtroopers was worth the unintended deaths and destruction.
      Even if he could prove that it was necessary he could still possibly be sued by the families of the people killed during this assault and also forced to pay compensation to the people who owned any property destroyed.
