also that is a really good pfp you got there

If this lasted 10 hours it would be accurate to the chapter
Really? I thought this was a shorter chapter than usual
@@padacuw4722 yeah you’re right, this is about as short as birth of a holy knight if you know how the chapter progresses. He’s just saying that because it’s fe4

@@Bunnymafia8150 and because the chapter is multi-reset material
@@Bunnymafia8150 He might be saying it for that reason, I'm saying it because the music is so good it makes me want to not progress the chapter so I can just sit and vibe to it.
I dunno why, but Genealogy feels a lot more potent when you play it at like 2-3 AM
3 AM playing Genealogy with the lights down low and all of a sudden you head the Loptyr cult theme for the first time. Now thats how you become unsettled lol
Like Smash Bros Brawl
No kidding, has this ethereal feel to it.
Ah yes, the chapter where life takes a turn for our friends of Jugdral.
Ah yes the chapter were we lose best character because this games hates me
Lewyn died?
@@wt_neptune54 let just say it was the first of the best character to die and it was just the begining
Oh my god, we did it. We talked Eldigan out of it. He's going back to the castle! Yes! We saved him! He's...getting executed?! *You can't win!*
The chapter where Dew gets a sword that allows him to steal gold without putting his life in danger, Tailtiu fries some pirates, gets cash from Dew to buy the Paragon band, then destroys the arena, and Lex has a long fought battle with Chagall so Ulster can have a good sword. Also, Lewyn slaughters the cross knights nearly on his own. Oh, and Sigurd gets a few lances to the face, and Quan finally starts killing things on his own with the Gae Bolg. Meanwhile, Bridget makes you question if raising Midir and Jamke is even worth it.

Honestly, the skill procs makes this game a bit complicated.
XxxJim_ the_ ReaperxxX
I like the skills in this game. I don't like Awakening's skills though. I predict I will like the Tellius skills, if I ever get to play them.
Wait wait wait how can he get a sword like that?

Have Dew stand and wait on the Blagi tower.
@TheDealSealer
Yeah, I undersell Midir above.
Rip The Lionheart, mighty ruler of Nordion. 😢
the best brother a sister could ever hope for.
The instrumental music evokes a profound sense of reverence and gratitude for the sacrifices made by those who walked through the windswept paths of duty. It carries within its notes the weight of heartaches, losses, and injustices endured by generations of steadfast individuals who preceded us. It's a harmonious tribute to their unwavering commitment, to facing adversity with unwavering courage and resilience.
As I listen, I am transported to a realm where emotions resonate deeply, where the melody becomes a conduit for remembrance and honor. The music paints a picture of individuals who confronted the challenges of their time, standing tall against the shadows of a daunting deep state. Even when knowing that the path they tread might lead them far from home, even when ensnared by the traps of circumstance, they pressed forward driven by an unbreakable allegiance to their nation and homeland(much like the valiant souls of South Vietnamese people who persist in their struggle to reinstate the Republic of Vietnam following the lionheart spirit of the previous generation of their ancestors who heroically fell and stuck to one article in the Paris Agreement of 1973 to have a free general election for their country under the supervision of the United Nations like Cambodia used to do before).
The music weaves a tapestry of emotions - sorrow and determination dancing hand in hand. The melodies, rising and falling like the contours of a tumultuous journey, illustrate the struggles faced by those who ventured forth, ready to brave the storms, unwavering in their devotion to uphold values and integrity. Each note seems to echo the resolute choices they made, marching into the unknown with an unshakeable belief in their purpose.
This instrumental piece isn't merely a collection of musical notes; it's a testament to the spirit of sacrifice and dedication. It's a narrative told without words, a symphony of valor and allegiance that leaves an indelible mark on those who embrace its melodies.
At least Eldigan had a heart than other camus archetypes
Indeed, and he had a heart that was as generous, ferocious, and loyal as a lion. He was a true king like no other.
I'm pretty sure all Camus had hearts. They just had to be loyal to assholes
He has a lion heart :D
@@azurestarseliph5926 Welp.
It was either be loyal to his liege and keep Agustria independent, or become a traitor to his country and his people by assisting Sigurd in putting Agustria under Grannvale rule.
He was in a lose-lose scenario.
And add the fact that Manfroy or Arvis would have had him killed for being way too powerful.
He's doomed no matter what he does in Ch.3
Eldigan did nothing wrong.
Well duh
It’s not even like he did evil things reasonably he just didn’t do anything wrong
he was sorta a dummy though, like sure he has his "knightly pride" but he clearly can see he was fighting on the wrong side.
Did he fight on the wrong side? After Sigurd put down the resistance from Eldigan's monarch, the kingdom ceased to exist and foreign nobles seized everything.
@@Annoying_Dragons
Welp, tragedies all over the plains.
The King of Nodion doesn't deserve his title at all.
Eldigan might have an oath to fulfill so there is no choice but to give him a Knightly Death anyways.
Knights must never ever waver from their oath or be seduced by their opponents' offer of power or glory.
Knights never do give in to temptations.
Thats what I believe about all the Camus Archetypes.
There is simply no way for you to sway them to your side no matter what.
My favourite song in the game by far I love how it sounds the composition is incredible
This chapter sealed Eldigan fate.
Eldigan's fate was sealed once the previous King of Agustria died too soon for Chagall to become a better person.
Not that the Loptyrian Cult would make things run smoothly.
Rip Eldigan you well be missed
This is deffinitely the point in the game where people realize shit is hitting the fan and its only chapter 3...
Each Geneology chapter is at least 3 chapters in a normal Fire Emblem game. Therefore, “only chapter 3” is not that accurate

Spoilers for Chapter 3:
The Raquesis and Eldigan conversation that actually convinced Eldigan to believe in his friend Sigurd and confront Chagall was powerful. I'm so used to seeing characters with the stubborn "I will die here in battle even though I don't believe in the cause" mindset. I was excited that Eldigan believed. Then he tries to confront Chagall one last time, pleading him to end the conflict. He is then executed as a traitor. I was shocked. I basically sent him to his death with a talk conversation.
Which makes him stand out more.
Just shows that he's not giving his life for his liege, but instead his country and his best friend.
He lived as he died, a true and respectable Knight of Agustria.
Those Cross Knights with Javelins will forever haunt me.
For me they just kept attacking Lewyn who was just dodging everything and criting/getting adept. Like 2 of them attacked Jamke at 2 range tho. So not too hard to deal with.
Eldigan didn't kill any of my units, but that damn cross knight...
For me they all attacked Lewyn (okay one of them attacked Jamke at two range) and couldn't hit him and I just talked to Eldigan with his sister
Probably my favorite Gen 1 chapter
Listened to many songs which had a sad tune or sad backstory to it but this is the only one that ever made me shed a tear
Theme of grinding Dew up at the bridge chokepoint with infinitely respawning pirates.
Those Violins!!
Not played game, but he didn't deserve to die either. Eldigan....i am happy he is in FEH 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Prepare for Heroes comments.
I heard this pop up in the trailer and I was man I love this theme. Might be my favorite player phase music so far. (on chapter 9 rn)
Considering how his arc revolves around avenging his father, I'd say it suits Ares's entrance to heroes. Lene is kind of a package deal with him in FE4 so the only one that's a stretch is Ishtar.
A stretch I wll happily accept.
This reminds me of Ishtar and Lene more.
Eldigan resplendent let’s gooooo
Spoilers
I think that Eldigan’s fate was sealed right from the beginning. Chagall became a King too soon and didn’t have enough time to learn how to govern or rule. Eldigan meanwhile, by Chapter 3, it makes sense for him to NOT side with Sigurd. To put it simply, it’s either fighting for Chagall so Agustria can stay a independent country, or Sigurd who is now taking over Agustria and putting it under Grandvalle rule. Even if he did somehow live, Arvis or Manfory would’ve killed him because Eldigan is too strong to be kept alive.
Indeed. Because even if Agustria is under Sigurd, you can't confirm that he can rule it as good as Agustria's former leaders. Eldigan put his loyalty and country above all but he did not get the reward he deserved
firdauskotp not to mention that some of the Granvalle lords could be abusing their power over Verdane and Agustria alike.
Yeah in Chapter 2 it's like, I guess we're taking over Agustria?
@@Hiya8partyz its not a matter of could, since the intro text for chapter 3 already states that the people from Grannvale governing over Augustria were abusing their power and influence while Sigurd was in the middle of attempting to give Augustria back to Chagall after conquering it in chapter 2.
Easily my favorite map theme from FE4....I have to play this game someday, I'm only here because of Heroes ~.~
Right when shit hits the fan
Oh beautiful
Deirdre gets kidnapped by Manfroy and somehow knows her Mother Sygin and plot gets interesting, Eldigan remains a loyal Knight to Augustria until he speaks to Raquesis and then he gets executed for being branded a traitor, Bridget is in danger of getting gangbanged by a bunch of Pirates, Claude and Tiltyu decide to join at the last damn minute, Tiltyu joins very late and isn't worth trying to train and promote in my opinion she's so low leveled.
Well I want Arthur and Teeny...so yeah
Eldigan overdoses, Lachesis finally settles for Finn, Deirdre gets kidnapped, Claude enters the scene with Tiltyu, Jamke gets an erection looking at Briggid, Dew also gets aforementioned erection, Briggid has to deal with the dumbest pirate in the world, Finn screws Lachesis before leaving, Quan and Ethlyn leave with Finn, Lex discovers the true meaning of Christmas.
Brandon Williams
I let her take a hit and wrath crit the pirates while Claud healed her, Dew gave her cash on his way to Blaggi tower, she bought the Paragon ring, stayed with Lewyn, Arthur and Tinni became gods like their parents, and Arthur became the next king of Silesse. The end.
Well same happened to me...Except it's Lex who got a boner looking at our lovely pirate lady. Also Azel and Tinny happily ran off into the sunset, frying pirates along the way.
I ship Azel Aileen even if it makes for a useless inheritance lol
Tfw PM1 finally gets Eldigan

@@AGZhark bro imagine replying to a three year old comment with no other replies, you have no life
Ah man, if only Eldigan had realized the power he had: he was the only noble in Agustria with any sense of noblesse oblige, which would have made him popular with the people. After Chapter 2, most of the standing armies of Agustria were shattered by Sigurd, leaving Chagall to rely on mercenaries to do his fighting for him. Eldigan's Cross Knights would have been the only reconizably Agustrian military in the region. And he wielded Mystletainn, the only Crusader weapon Agustria has (unless you count the Valkyrie Staff, I guess).
Eldigan wanted to honor the vow House Nordion made to always aid the kings of Agustria, but if he had realized the advantages he had and been a bit more... practical, he could have staged a coup, ousted Chagall's illegitimate ass, and become the true king of Nordion. Then he and Sigurd could have stood together against the machinations of Langbalt, Reptor, and the Loptyr Cult.
Ahhh... paths not taken. Still, good to see Ares redeem his father's legacy.
SHIIIIIZAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!
The reason why Lachesis is sharp-tongued is because of the death of her brother, Eldigan.
She actually had a sharp tongue before Eldigan's death.

I agree. Eldigan's five leadership stars are not to be scoffed at. Or were you talking about Tailtiu, because I have a solution to train her.
I got so damn lucky with some good arya crit and dogde I remember
This chapter is fine.
Just takes some considerable planning.
It has its annoying moments, but honestly, the map theme alone saves it.
Chapter 2 is worse tbh
Reports of my death were greatly exaggerated. Allow me to explain. I still had Mystletainn when that cad Chagall ordered me executed, so between the demonic power of the Dark Blade and my own modest strength I was able to take down the executioner easily. However, by the time I reached the battlefield, the remnants of the Cross Knights and Sigurd's army had already been evacuated to Silesse and the hordes of Grannvale were swarming the countryside. I decided discretion was the better part of valor and made myself scarce. Imagine my surprise when there turned out to be an easily defensible castle on Orgahil Island manned by capable warriors in need of a leader! Granted, they were a motley assortment of ne'er-do-wells and thugs, but after witnessing the fate of one man who attempted to deal me extreme bodily harm, the rest fell into line rather quickly. We then went on to carry out guerrilla warfare against the so-called 'Grannvale Empire' until word of Seliph's rebellion reached us. I sent Ares on to aid him with Mystletainn while I took back Agustria with my backup Brave Sword and the reformed pirates. We are now growing old together laughing, sparring, and keeping the memories of the Heroes of Belhalla alive.
That’s metal as hell man want to come with me to kill dragons

FEH comments
🤔 i am curious, how did beowolf know Eldigan? How many have support with Eldie in heroes??
Beowulf gets recruited by Sigurd before the Eldigan chapter, like really, only the chapter before (He's in the middle of many sword-wielding cavaliers that comes as enemy reinforcement. His price for working with you is quite high but manageable)
@@SakamotoHatsuharu this is 11 months too late, and doesn't answer the question at all.
ferghus (character of fe5) says that Beowulf likes noble girls, so maybe he was lying to her (you know, if beowulf was working in agustria, is normal that he knows a little bit of the families of the country)
the 2 dislikers are Manfroy and Chagall (AKA the cowardly king and an asshole who order an execution to Eldigan)
