This is by far one of the comfiest winter themes I've heard in a video game.

Just played the first winter chapter in that game. Loved the song.
This and Earthbound's Winters theme are the best for Winter in my opinion
The soundtrack is comfy, but not the fucking map
The chapter where everyone, barring Arden, finally promotes, and he realizes that he can't cross mountains without a warp. Tailtiu hopefully promotes after clearing the arena with wrath crits, the blizzard mages show that they're not a threat, Lewyn finally kills somewhat reliably, and Dithorbia gets shot down by Bridget, Jamke, and Midir almost as quickly as Mahnya and her squad gets shot down by André.

Arden is actually real good in this chapter. Give him the wing clipper and he can destroy Pamela. The rest of her squad is too scared of him
Oh boy, time to prepare for Heroes comments. Anyways, this theme has certainly grown on me after some time.

I still can get over the fact that Annand or Mahnya is summoned while she’s falling to her death when she was shot down. Just thinking about it makes my heartstrings hurt.
There are other heroes that were summoned after their canonical deaths. Most of the 1st Generation Genealogy characters, Lyon, Sacred Stones Selena, Greil, Mustafa... That means they were basically resurrected to fight for us. To them, being brought back to life as a summoned unit is their greatest second chance.

Do people not like this theme?
People just don’t like the chapter. The music is nice though.
The chapter is kinda dumb, especially the 5 Turns Cutscene.
Other complaints is that the enemies are usually fast in this chapter (Such as the Wind Mages) and your units can only take on one Wind hit before they die to another. Then you have the troll bridge which definitely frustrates most unless if you know the secret to unlocking it, otherwise it is Mountain Time. The Villagers can be annoying to save as one requires Erin to be able to kill a siege wind mage before he kills one of them. The final Castle along with Lamia's Girls are overall annoying with very easy to die attacks such as Killer Bow Crit and Lamia Adept.
I still like the chapter, but it sometimes takes longer than I wanted every time i play.
I think it's just the recommendation being stupid as usual.
TBF, it's kind of a filler chapter in the first generation compared to the other 5 chapters.
If we ever get a remake, I hope we get a cutscene of this chapter. I want to see Annand (or Mahnya) just wreck Pamela Pegasus knights, and Pamela until the archers come. I feel it can be a cool cutscene for her, and makes her look heroic
Not much to say about this chapter Outside of Lewyn becoming invincible with Forseti
Bob Schloavington A Sleep Staff user, long-range Wind magic and the boss of Thove Castle removing the bridge as you get closer. Manhya and her Pegasus Sqaud get shot down like flies by the Beigenritter of Jungby lead by Scorpion, deadly female Myrmidons, archers, and a Swordmaster await you on the wait to Zaxon Castle.

Levin screws every Pegasus Knight in Silesia (that includes the enemies), Sigurd misses Deirdre, Ayra has a one night stand with Holyn, Jamke gets laid, Mahnya goes to a therapist, Andorey becomes a pincushion.
Arya is faithful to her husband Lex, my dude. Jamke is celibate because Midir gets dat Jungby pussy. Arden stays at base.
Also finding out that Lewyn was a philandering wanderer that ran away from the politics of Silesse.
One of the best tracks of the game.

I hope IS gives us Pamela soon so we can have the 4 Silessian Pegasus Riders (and pls add Karin and Misha ;-;)
I remember reading a theory that there's a possibility that Pamela's and Díthorba's characters were combined because on Meet the Heroes it has Díthorba fighting Annand even though it's supposed to be Pamela. Not to mention that it didn't mention Pamela on "Closely Associated Characters" which is kinda weird. Not sure how I feel if that ends up being the case.

@@yoshimallow Annand/Manhya is Erinys' older sister and leader of the Silesian Pegasus Knights, who died fighting against Andre.
Díthorba is a rebel Pegasus knight who fought in favor of Daccan and against Annand and Erinys. She's also the mother of Misha, a FE5 character :)

Except for the PTSD it gave me from when I kept having to move my entire army back and forth between Thove and the base castle because I THOUGHT I WAS DONE THERE OK, I DIDN'T THINK THE PIRATES WERE GONNA COME AFTER ME AFTER KILLING THE VILLAGERS. Also That pegasus lady had to go back for reinforcements and I thought she was retreating for good (Haha not even close). Also I failed to marry off Brigid and Dew in this chapter and I didn't get the children with God stats :,) In case you can't tell, I suck at this game
This is the magic of FE4. The vast amount of stories I hear on how people tackle every chapter. From Using Claude to tank all the Wind Mages and Not fall asleep to "I had everyone promoted so this was a Breeze". The magic of FE4 Is amazing...

This theme is the pure definition of "The calm before the storm", it's the reason I love it a lot. The Silesse Army theme is perfect for sharing just how tragic the Civil War is, especially when Annand's squad is killed along with her

Music in this game is really beautiful. It really hits different than the rest of the series.
I can understand why there are people who dislike this chapter, and that's okay. But for me, this is my absolute favorite chapter in the game.

Ok I hate this chapter. I planned to marry Claude with Sylvia and suddenly, Sylvia and Alec are married at almost the end of the chapter. Now I have to do this chapter again but killing Alec and reviving him with the Valkyrie staff.
I had to do chapter 2 and 3 all over again because lachesis and finn didn't fall in love and I forgot to get the pursuit ring. Feelsbad

I honestly thought this was the most boring track I'd encountered. It was nice but I just took it as "generic winter theme". Back then I was even mad at the direction of the story because it seemed like all of Sigurd's struggles were put on the backburner for a country I didn't give a crap about.
However, it's really grown on me recently. It's feels nice and winter-like but I feel like there's something ominous to it too. I have very clear feelings on the rest of the map themes but this one both confuses and delights me.
Am I going crazy or have LOL sampled from this OST for their notif noise?
